Correct! The great thing about mokuton is its versitility. Ok the basics of wood interlocking wall is in the name, its a wall of wood that interlocks.

what you do is grow wooden pillars from the ground all around you. make them grow to form a quarter sphere, or hemi-sphere around you. alternatly you can use it to grow a hemisphere around your enemy to trap them.

so lets use it both ways.

Sorry for late reply, I needed a shower... Anyways. *I quickly performs the handseals as you say I'm gonna trap you. Creating Wooden pillars around you in a Hemi-Sphere formantions.* Yamato Sensei I wonder can't the enemy not just use Hiding like a mole to evade this trap? O_O...

Which is what I was getting to

You need to have a way to keep them inside the technique. the best jutsu to use after this are lightnng techniques which travel through the earth to attack from underneath.

there are two ways they will escape
1) blasting thier way out (very obvious if this happens)
2) underground (this is the sneaky way out)

so if you blast them with lightning from the ground then they will be screwed

Then you can follow up with mokuton no jutsu to grow spikes on the inside of the trap and stab them to death >=}

so try and perform a combination attack using the wood interlocking wall to trap me

That was perfect, my clone didnt stand a chance. make sure that if you do that combo again, to clearify that the pillars push them up after the lightning hits them. I would still prefer to make spikes come down from the wood (or the ground) because then they have to block all around them. If they are being pushed up, thy can chidori, or raikiri out of the dome once they reach the top.

I think you have a good grasp of that one.

Now I want you to grow a pillar that has a 3x3 meter base

good, make it grow very quickly, then branch it out into 20 pillars and have them swing back down towards the ground to resenble a weeping willow tree

yessir. the beatuty of mouton is that wood grows from the top, so as it grows you can alter its path using chakra. This allows the user to literallty use the jutsu to chase the opponent.
