well if you are fighting in a mountainous aria or a cave it would be more effective and also you can use it to make the ground over a tunnel in to loose sand and thus be able to enter the tunnel but of course after that you would use bed rock coffin to close up the hole then you would detect where your opponent is and use bed rock coffin again to close of their path and then they are trapped unless they know doton jutsus

Proceed by charging Doton chakra into your hands. Then, slam the ground with it, sending it towards my clone, causing the earth to split in half underneath him. Like a really deep fissure.

in battle it can be used against a charging enemies by making it big enough to make them fall in and combined with a wind style jutsu so the wind will suck them in and then you use bed rock coffin to close the gap thus crushing the enemy
