Amazing. You are correct. During a Kenjutsu, one must always search for the weakness of the opponent, and definitely think ahead before attacking.
If you attack the opponent on the head, they will most definitely duck, which then, you might follow up with another attack at the estimated area.
You should consider taking Kenjutsu from Keotsu sometime. I'm more than impressed.
Next, I would like you to focus your chakra internally. This is rather rare for the Suiton element, so grasp the concept first. Then when you push your Suiton chakra into your mouth, add to it another wave of Chakra to make it sticky. Once you build up enough pressure in your mouth, release upon the ground before us to create a sticky lake.

Well if it's sticky then it could slow down an opponent if for example you were running away and used this behind you. It could also stop an opponent from stepping within a certain perimeter of you if you created the lake around you. Or just as a plain and simple distraction.

Hmmm okay then. This shared the fact that it is only a projection and if hit the jutsu will release. This would be used primarily as a distraction that could disguise another attack made by the user or to help with a escape as it would be hard to distinguish between the user and a copy.

Another use could be if you're on the recieving end of a jutsu that results in a lot of smoke you could hide and create a clone and ambush them. And I'm not 100% sure but could it be used to attack the enemy with ninjutsu?

Well normal clones just go poof away once you hit them but I'm not sure what happens to a water clone. It either will just splash away as oppose to just poofing away once hit or it could turn into water momentarily and revert to being a clone after it has been attacked, INS sort of self-healing manner.
Based on the manga and anime mostly, Water Clones were usually used as a diversion - hiding the real one as they take much less chakra to make and only have 1/10th power of the original user.
But, yes, they turn back into pure water when they are hit. And what does that create? A water source. Can't you surprise with another attack immediately after they turn back into water?

Oohhhh that's really smart actually, you could use that water source to create a water sword with 'Water Style: Sword of Draining' and use that to attack them, another water jutsu that requires a water source or just hit them with taijutsu.

I want you now, like that sticky water jutsu, to concentrate your water chakra inside your mouth and build up pressure. Once you have done so, proceed to spit it out a little by little to shoot out multiple ball-shaped water at me.

*I repeat the same chakra gathering steps as when I performed the sticky lake jutsu but instead of forming sticky liquid I form dense balls of water. I inhale deeply whist doing this and then I open my mouth and release a small ball, followed by another and another before I run out of breath and chakra to perform more in succession*
Unfortunately, this jutsu is EXTREMELY basic, and you will learn more advanced versions of this later on, upon which I'll give you a scoop-on about then. However, water bullets are water bullets and one of the only reasons to use this jutsu would be to douse basic Fire jutsus such as Phoenix Flower.
Now, for this jutsu, I want you once again begin using the Hidden Mist jutsu. Once you do that, manipulate the chakra within the mist to reflect the light around us to blind me.
