However, what do you think is the main purpose of stretching a chidori is?

to increase the range, so you don't have to be next to your opponent to hit thhem with the chidori.

Now, let's have a mini lesson in Kenjutsu.
Let's say I was standing mid-range from you and you decided to swipe that sword at me while increasing the range of it as you do. State it now in detail.
Here is a Taijutsu example.
"As he nears his clone, he slightly lifts his right leg, preparing for a strong kick. Then, as he comes into kicking range he slams his leg upon the clone's chest, causing it to stumble back due to the hit. Right after this, he follows up with a quick uppercut with his left hand, directly contacting the clone with a hit to the jaw, finishing it."
Do you understand what I'm talking about now?

Hm...
We'll start with a little spar then.
Tenzo stands mid-range from Ikari. He has his custom sword, LianGian, within his hands. Ikari has Chidori Sharp Spear within his hands. Immediately, after a slight pause, he begins dashing towards Ikari, sword raised back to charge up for a strike.
The instant he is at arc-range of the sword, he swipes his sword directly towards at Ikari's body at chest-level.
Now, proceed to counter.

As tenzo brings his sword down to strike, Ikari shifts his foot back, creating a tiny gap, then uses Chidori Sharp Spear, thrusting it into Tenzo's gut, pushing him back as well. like that? or.. did you mean if you were attacking from the top, striking me with the arc of the sword, i could duck and hit your gut with the Chidori Spear. like my attack would be direct, whereas yours would take a little more time due to the downswing so i could counter like that?

Excellent. I see you get the general idea of it. You took it a notch further actually - the only thing I asked was you to defend against my move with proper detail and you did so.
Impressive. Very impressive. You might do good with Kenjutsu and Taijutsu.
Yes, that is one way. We might expand a bit on Kenjutsu later on...if you would do me the honor of perhaps several spars.

if i were to learn Kenjutsu, would i need a custom sword? or can i just state that i have an ordinary sword in the fight?

the only other element i've learned so far is Katon.

You could make a Custom Sword like I did. It's an ordinary thing, but just named. Put it in your bio and say it's part of your training and it'll be accepted.
Oh...then we'll move on.
Alright, for this next one...
Begin by focusing your Raiton chakra within yourself. Then release it in the form of a crooked spear , aiming it at my clone. Try and split the chakra you emit to attack my clone different areas.

Begin by forming a Chidori and then jump into the air - and as you do this release all of the bound Lightning Chakra to create a giant thunder bolt...which you then gather up and throw it at my clone. Remember to aim.

*Forms a chidori, then jumps high into the air. starts to release the Raiton chakra. the chidori then starts lashing out. as i almost lose my control of it, i unleash it upon your clone, sending a giant bolt straight into it*

whoops, yeah sorry xD i type to fast and forget to push keys >.>

the importance of this jutsu is that it places you above the enemy, so even if the jutsu misses, you're still in position to strike with another attack. or if you manage to get above the enemy without them knowing, it sets you up in their biggest blind spot, giving you a huge advantage.

Exactly. You have learned well.
The fact that it comes in the air gives the enemy hardly a chance to defend themselves. Nicely said.

Description: After Performing chidoir in mid air the user releases all of the lightning chakra to create a Giant Thunder bolt that can be shot at the opponent.

For this next jutsu, it's Kakashi's famous one, Raikiri.
It's basically an advanced version of Chidori.
Now create a chidori once again, however, enhance it with more chakra to make it more powerful...but in mind that this jutsu needs extremely good chakra control.
As the Chidori is just a simple mass of electrical energy, this is more bluer and much more focused.
Now try it.

*creates a chidori, holds it for a moment, then slowly adds more chakra, little by little, the chidori starts glowing more blue and grows in size slightly. i stop adding chakra for a moment, just to get a grasp of the size and mass of the larger energy. i then add the last of the chakra. The ball of energy starts crackiling and glows, creating a neon blue light around myself. i hold my hand still, to just get used to holding it*

Now, keep ahold on that jutsu and then proceed to slam the rock near you.

*holds the Raikiri in my hand, by this point it's getting hard to keep up, but i push myself to do so. i raise my hand, up to just underneath my ribs then dash full speed at the rock you pointed out, slamming the jutsu into. on impact the rock shatters, sending chunks of rock flying outwards*

Now, proceed to do it one more time, but this time, create a Raikiri in each respectful hand.
