Alright, perfect.
We'll begin now.
Anyhow, start by focusing your Raiton chakra from within your body. And then form it to become a spear and then adding a bit of chakra to push it foward, spit it out from your mouth and then continue to guide it with your chakra to split it into several more smaller spears.
Use this attack to hit the trees in front of you.

okay sensei
*focuses chakra through my body, slowly building it up. once it has built up enough, i spit it out of my mouth, sending it towards the trees. i split it into 3 spears hitting all three trees in front of me.*

a way to catch your enemy is to split it into to spear, on on either side of your opponent, then you could split it again when they attempt to dodge to catch them off guard and it works well as a frontal attack because it can be split to adjust to the enemies postion.
Yes, the main reason here is that it can be split into multiple spears to distract an opponent. Very good.
Let's start by focusing on an image of yourself. Then, begin replicating that image of yourself through chakra. Release your chakra next to you and then manipulate it to become a form of yourself. Work on getting it perfect and solid.
Remember to focus purely on Raiton Chakra ONLY.

the first is that it acts as a distraction when trying to attack or defend an attack form your opponent. the second is that it can act as a scout when trying to size up an opponent, like Kakashi did vs Pain. Also like in Naruto's case (also Konohamaru) a shadown clone can act as a way to increase your ability to perform certain jutsu (eg Rasengan)
Yes, combos are the main thing about Shadow Clones. Also, another important thing is that it disrupts you if you're in a genjutsu and helps you get out of it. Please remember these two reasons when you battle soon. 
Nicely said. Yes, distractions are excellent. You could use a shadow clone to get into close range, distracting the opponent, and then get him in the back.

First start by concentrating all your Raiton Chakra into your hand. Feed enough into the center of your hand...enough to become a crackling ball of energy. Then proceed to run as quick as you can to the rock next to you and slam your result upon it.
It might be a little hard to get hang out of this jutsu first...so do it several times...

hmmmm okay. i create two clones, one either side of me. the clone on my left charges towards you while the on on my right starts focusing chakra. the clone from my left starts throwing kunai as i use
the spears rush towards you. you strike down the clone from my left while dodging my spears, just as you stop moving, the clone from my right appears behind you and hits you with Chidori. :]

And it's quite noticeable if you deliver direct frontal attacks, so try to keep to using attacks that come from the top and the bottom.
