Wind techniques have big cutting power, but only when they're used correctly, and since wind can't really be touched, it's not easy to control it. Wind needs to be concentrated well to cut though, 'cause if that doesn't happen it just pushes things away without any damage. Also, wind techniques are never still, they always depend on movement. Also, air has very low density, so it can't be stped by lighting, but it increases fire power, so it's often combined with fire techniques.
