I don't think tenten, sai, or ino would be considered nearly as fail if they would get some decent character development once in a while.

ya ten ten not that much of fail. INO IS A FAIL. all she has is mind transfer and in the game they had to add in extra things like flower bombs. rly that was her special in the game! but she is good for something...... for bieng best looking girl in naruto. well one of best. xd

Well why people say she's fail I gotta say that she hasnt been that present in the manga/anime compared to all other characters in the narutoverse. She recently was in the latest filler where the whole episode was mainly about her through and she end up as the hero of the weekly flashback 0_o

At first I dont like her too, but after the "Deploit! Team Tenten" episode I saw something in her, maybe Kishimoto-sensei will surprise us with an epic fight of her, just wait and see ^^

i think kiba is the worst.He uses only sniffing and turning which has no effect.Ino is very effective with shikamaru i think.Sai is from anbu which is a higher level than a jounin.Tenten is a good team player but she can't do anything against akatsuki,naruto,sannins,hokages or shikamaru.

She's a mystery failure more exactly.

She was quite well drawn by Kishi compared to Hinata or Sakura but her looks are awful.

She also was given quite nice jutsus (put these skills in any other anime and you'll say wow!!!) but very poorly presented.

With more time, better attitude and sexy killing looks, she can put aside her status of mere jobber and establish herself as an important character.

Unfortunately, with Kishi trying to do whatever he can to make the war batles epic, Tenten's hope may vanish.......

I don't know I don't think it's fair to label these characters fail especially since thier characters were never fully fleshed out.

You know calling Tenten a failure means you guys are indirectly calling Kishi a failure.Not all characters are very powerful or very strong just like in real life where some students ar smart while some others are dull.What if Kishi decides it's time for all this low-class ninjas to show their real powers and they are even better than some jounins, that's when we start to say i never knew she was this good and now support her.Well i just want you to know that every character has a purpose to fill just we all have a mission to accomplish or a dream to live

I didn't like Tenten at first but i do like her now some characters you don't like them right away there were lots of characters in the show i didn't like right away but i do now take Sakura for example i couldn't stand her at all but as the show progressed i began to like her
