There was no episode with ONLY Tenten, Naruto, and Neji. There was a filler season with Tenten, Naruto, Neji, and Lee though, which was the season where they had to defeat that Seven Swordsman guy "Raiga", though. It was from episodes 152 to 157

Yes I remember that ep, soo what she beat a clone of herself, that's not saying much since her clone would be fail as well since it's an exact clone.

Well, you need the fail characters to make the good ones stand out more.

Sai is funny LOL at least with naruto [ those '' g.a.y part <.< ]
tenten..at least she have some powerful jutsu as we seen in the naruto movie[ the one when kakashi got control and naruto tried to save him ]

well i think ino is real fail..she only has that mind thingy jutsu
but she might be good help when trying to get information from enemy ^^

She's a mystery failure more exactly.

She was quite well drawn by Kishi compared to Hinata or Sakura but her looks are awful.

She also was given quite nice jutsus (put these skills in any other anime and you'll say wow!!!) but very poorly presented.

With more time, better attitude and sexy killing looks, she can put aside her status of mere jobber and establish herself as an important character.

Unfortunately, with Kishi trying to do whatever he can to make the war batles epic, Tenten's hope may vanish.......

Sai isn't a fail. Tenten. I think we all can agree that she will just end up with Lee, they will have a baby, and the baby will get trained by Lee and have jutsu as well, so that baby will be Reckless. So she is a fail that has a purpose lol. Lee was technically supposed to be a fail, but because Guy sensei is so gangster, Lee became such also.

Tenten isn't a failed character. She is a skills weapon expert. Just like her teammates have their own specialty, her specialty is weapons. In my eyes I see her as a successful character. She has pin point accuracy and she knows some sealing jutsu because she has to seal away her weapons in scrolls.
