Tell me one of your favorite mangas/animes (that isn't Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece)

Just like the title says! Thats my only rule: no big three. It can be any other manga, even if it is a hentai (just dont go into detail guys? Please?) and you can even explain the plot if you want.

For example:
one of my favorite mangas (that isnt one of the big three) is Magi, Labyrinth of Magic. It was inspired by the Arabian Nights. The main character is Aladdin and his best freinds are Alibaba and Morgiana. The artwork is amazing, the story is informative and twisted, and the battle scenes are pretty epic. Its pretty popular, and I heard recently that its getting its own english dubbed so maybe it can appear on TV someday.

My favorite manga of all time is Soul Eater. It has everything I like. An amazing arts style, kinda like the Tim Burton of manga. It focuses on all characters equally. It has knights, witches, werewolves, and all that good stuff. Insanity is a major theme.. It's just fantastic.

Alright, since Jack already mentioned Soul Eater (is one of my tops), I'll go with Dorohedoro: Written and illustrated by Q Hayashida, this seinen manga is one of the craziest and most bizarre manga I've read. It's about a man who got his head disfigured into a caiman's by magic and has no recollection of his life prior that event, hence his nickname: Kaiman (yep, with K. It's very important to keep it that way).
Everything's normal so far, right? But wait, did I mention there's a man inside his mouth? Hm?? So in order to find the culprit of his disfigurement he chomps the heads of magic users to allow the man inside his mouth to identify the culprit. It's a no winning game for the magic users tho, wether they're the offenders or not holds little importance for their final fate: death. Yep, our dear MC will kill them afterwards anyway (and btw, when a magic user dies, all the magic he/she casted gets dispelled). And from there onwards it gets a lot weirder and brutal. And once the plot unfolds, one finds there is a lot more in Dorohedoro than just a violent lizard-head man...
