It's a two elemental combo (fire and earth) while yours is only a single element, also, from an inferior rank. First mistake. You can edit, you have 2 before you fail your exam.

I see no reason to continue this fight since I am already failed. Even if I wouldn't get the third fail there's always someone that will do better and make into sensei.
