Yeah, pretty much. Kabuto is the worst possible match up for someone like hashirama, who's powers are basically embedded in his cells, a medic who has long researched said cells can nullify them.

Sensing=/= being a 'sensor'. Every ninja who uses chakra can sense, so to speak but not everyone is a sensor. Its like Madara saying i have better eyesight than you to Hashirama. Hashirama can also see, but not like madara due to the sharingan. Its clear out of the brothers only tobirama is a sensor, otherwise why did hashirama ask tobirama to sense here, when the person was so close he could've sensed it himself:
