Tsunade's special ability(forgot the name) allows her to regenerate vital body parts allowing her to practically heal from any wound....i'm sure she could use a technique like that on someone else since she practically used it on the whole village during the pain arc

Now that you mention it... this DOES seem pretty likely. I just hope Tsunade will show the other reason she is known as one of the Sannin, besides her status as a legendary medical ninja.
