Damn, I was just about to make this thread. Good thing I used the search button...lol
But I would pick
1. As captian Shikamaru Nara:
Not because of his fighting capabilities. Shikamaru is a brilliant strategist with an IQ of over 200 even Madara considers him a worthy adversary due to his ability to be to analyze a situation and be able to form a strategy for the situation.
2. would have to be Naruto:
well because he's the main character in the series and we all know that he will be unstoppable. He's already the strongest ninja in the leaf, we seen that after he defeaated all 6 pains.
3. Shino Aburame
I pick Shino because he's also very intelligant and powerful. He can used his insects like sensory type jutsu. Shino can also use the bugs to spy and gather information.
4. Rock Lee
Because he's a taijutsu master that I beleive will be able to open all of the 8 gates or be able to withstand opening the 7th gate without any repercussions.
my choices were based on the younger generation and who is still in the leaf.

The most deadly squad would be: Captain Minato, Naruto, Kakashi, andJiriya
because they all can use rasengan and use super rasengan twice(if you haven't seen the fourth naruto shipuden movie, it is the most powerful rasengan)
or, The first four hokages teamed with the 1st as the leader

Itachi, Madara, 1st Hokage(before he gave out the Beasts to other countries), Mangetsu Hozuki (He was also seemingly entrusted with the scroll which contained all of the other seven mist ninja swords.) Mū (is an extremely powerful shinobi. He appears to be both extremely knowledgeable and analytical, being able to discern the exact method used to locate his position almost immediately after detection, seemingly without any prior information concerning the technique in question.)
