Great point, rank-wise D isn't in their league.
But he's the "Kakashi" of Kumogakure and I think alongside C could give Team Kumo a great chance at stalling Tsunade.

Orochimaru is just as durable as the Raikages and so is Jiraiya when in Sage Mode and so is Tsunade when in Mitotic Regeneration mode.

Those three together including Hiruzen would be undying.

All the summons they could have on the battlefield would overwhelm the Kumo team.
