Some people in NB seem to highly underestimate Gai due to the rise of shinobi with HAND ME DOWN POWER-UPS AND ABILITIES:
- Sasuke (Chidori, MS Abilities and EMS)
- Obito (Rinnegan, Senju Cells)
- Madara (Sage Mode, Senju Cells)
- Kakashi (Sharingan, 1000 Jutsu minus Raiton based)
- NARUTO (Kyuubi, Sage Mode, Thousand Rasengan Variants)

Just remember what your so called "Solo King" said about the Noble Green Beast of Konoha..

So now this gets me thinking, seeing as Gai and Kakashi have the most powerful teams in Konohagakure..
If it were Team Guy against the Akatsuki... how exactly would it turn out for the Solo God and crew?

I will allow Ten Ten to be bashed, though at least give her shine (e.g Ten Ten vs Hidan outcome)

There are members that they can take out as Team vs 1, but owning whole Akatsuki is impossible.
They can defeat (as a Team and 4 vs 1):
-Hidan
-Zetsu
-Konan
-Kisame
-Sasori
-Deidara (if Gai acts quick)
-Kakuzu (if gentle fist passes through domu)

Rest would defeat them even as a Team.

None of them are taking Hidan no diff , especially w/o intel . What a joke .

Regardless, they do defeat Hidan, but in a 9 v 4 battle, the Akatsuki kills all four of them very quickly with no repercussions.

No fighting back against all of their strongest jutsu's used in sync .

Now now , I agree that Gai is kinda underrated here because he doesn't have any firework powers & imma let you finish , but the Akatsuki had one of the best shinobis in the entire series .

10 10 doesn't help much , lee won't be much of a thread either & Neji well .........let's just say : Kamui , C4 , 100 puppets , iron sand , water dome , 5 hearts , immortality , long range paper bomb attacks , Itachi & Rinnegan .

they loose in less than 15 minutes .

You should read Guy vs the akatsuki fan made manga, Guy is a beast lol.
Team Gai would lose but I think the solo God could pull it off if he went all 8 gates, it's the most hyped thing since the SO6P

C0 Dominates, C4 dominates everyone but Neji.

Pretty much all of the Akatsuki dominates everyone but Guy.

Guy takes down Zetsu & Hidan

Potentially Sasori & Kisame

I've already explained how Obito takes down Guy mid-diff maximum

I meant Team Guy as in individual fights (e.g Guy vs Kakuzu, Lee vs Sasori, Ten Ten vs Hidan, Neji vs Deidara)

Thats merely a plot. Kisame knew nothing of hirudora so he stood there awaiting for it to be absorbed.
Kisame can easily counter it being underwater and playing defensively while gai is in gates.
