I never made any claims saying otherwise tho. But anyway maybe the auto sand is powered by Karura's chakra like when Obito possessed Kakashi where she instead planted her Chakra into that specifc sand?. Gaara also chooses to adopt carrying that heavy gourd around with the specfic sand that protects him , so i dont think the sand simply conjures from ntn but stead likely stays and flows in grain form , then flow together when Gaara faces danger which explains his child days.
I dont think its unfair to say that Chakra resides in Gaara's auto sand in some way or form even if it isn't 100% Gaara's. Maybe Gaara after he gained the gourd reinforced the Sand with more of his own Chakra , making it faster and stronger. With Gaara's natural power progression from child to adult its logical to think that for his Auto sand to become faster/stronger with his progress he'd need to pour Chakra at different times in his life to make the sand progress with him , as i dont see how the Auto sand could get faster/stronger from he was a child , to when he became an adult unless the auto sand stayed the same speed/power?
-I like the fact that the series is over and yet we never got a clear understnading to to this..

Lee and Neji take this by themselves. Neji would make quick work of Temari and Kankuro while Lee holds Gaara back. Then together they destroy Gaara

This is not a 1v1 1v1 1v1. Team fight sand siblings take this.
Neji jyuken is not dropping Gaara's sand and yes kankuro gets taken out by either but he takes them down as well like he did shino.

This is off-topic, but just some information: Naruto one-shot was released in 1997, and it was a story about magic and sorcery, not about ninjutsu or chakra. Kishi changed the whole story from magic to chakra after recreating it for the long term manga.
So you guys should understand that things like spirit and soul imbued in material substances is not a farfetched idea or belief, kishi induced his previous story element into the chakra oriented story as it was explained in part 1. Nine tails was called a spirit but has a physical form, thoughts?
So jyuuken would really, be of little to no use, against gaara's sand shield.

Kankuro isn't doing a dame thing but get smoked no diff. Lee w/o weights alone (with no enhancement from the Gates) would shook Team-sand without intel as per canon. Kankuro gets swiftly wtf blitzed off the bat , followed by a shook Temari. Gaara's sand aint give a dame bout Kankuro nor could it follow Lee if it did , and Kankuro sure as hell isn't physically reacting well enough to guard, even barely against clean hits when he'll have enough problems simply seeing any movment at all.
Lee w/o weights (enhanced by only the 1st Gate) takes out Kankuro and Temari neg/low diff without intel. Gaara's only hope w/o any form of shukaku is to retreat into Sand dome as fast as possible or get wreked along with his Team as 1sT Gate Lee + Neji is enough for him.

Unless Kankuro and/or Temari can somehow slow down Lee or Neji, the sand siblings lose. Gaara isn't handling the both of them on his own.
Great point about a particular set of sand following Gaara in grain form. I always thought any body of sand closest to Gaara would automatically become the sand shield which is why he carried a gourd to keep sand that he had infused chakra in to become the closest.. But then that would in turn mean Sand all over the NV will have Karura's will in it xD

Yep , and wat if Gaara is located somewhere w/o sand ? which is why it makes much more sense for it to follow in grains around the area. I would've loved to get more info on his mom to know for sure if she also had that specific sand for herself as its awsome to think that she invented and used the Auto sand mechanic then passed all her life Chakra into her specfic sand which follows her. Or maybe she simply had sand control w/o the Auto mechanic , as her Chakra independently controls the sand to flow and protect Gaara due to her own will , unlike if she were using it herself. I think its cool to think that Karura used that exact sand in her time and that her Chakra which resides in the sand independently protects Gaara while Gaara's own Chakra reinforces it and makes it stronger/faster.

No-Intel lee is not starting off with weights but lets say he is rushing kankuro with no intel is not a good idea he could be beating down crow.

What can lee do he cannot deal enough damage to put those two down and we already seen temari easily react to his base kick w/weights so she atleast be able to defend herself. While lee is taking his weigths off Kankuro can also get his attack started up with

Already explained that he'll need to use his lotus to put them down indefinitely and the draw back on that would allow the remaining sibling to kill him and his recover time unless he uses the gates. Gaara almost stomps neji he's not fast enough to bypass his auto defense and he cannot run all day. Lee can damage Gaara with gates only but the damage is only lasting while the attack is and hes attacks to fast for Neji to attack him in succession so once the assault is over then it becomes a Gaara vs Neji fight.
Gaara can be in sand dome while his sand attacks instead of meditating like he did against Sasuke.

Thats why Neji is there with him who can see if Kankuro is hiding inside crow since unlike his puppet he has a chakra network along with Neji seeing the weapons and gas packages which he'll tell to Lee among other things like wats inside the gourd. He'll make sure to tell Lee to go all out , just like he told Tenten to go all out against Dosu then sensed Sasuke's chakra which is possible with Gaara. Just like by instinct Sasuke knew Neji and Gaara were monsters long before seeing anything , Neji would do the same.

If Lee removes weights then he doesn't have to waste many hits on Kankuro when he can punch in his forehead/eyes or heavy kick the back of his head with a leaf wind kick or just plant a foot in his face.
If weightless Lee does this with the 1st Gate active or w/o to Kankuro who is weak to Taijutsu and isn't wearing Sand armor , he'll get knocked the **** out , same with Temari.

But lets say Lee in canon says to Neji " but , but Gai sensei said blahh" he's still fast enough w/weights to avoid their attacks. If Temari attacks he avoids easily just like Shikamru point-blank , not to mention extra cover from the trees. If kankuro attacks then Lee does the same with the warning from Neji about the hidden weapons. If Gaara attacks then Lee avoids his sand as per canon. Pretty sure Lee will see that he has no choice but to remove weights.
Clean hits like wat he did to Gaara w/Armor would knock them out w/o the 1st Gate much less with the added physical power boost. Lee can also kick either of them away then Tenten snipes with an explosive tag or barrage of weapons. Temari isn't reacting to weightless Lee for any kind of physical defense just like she wouldn't do against CE2 Sasuke , so mentioning Lee w/weights is useless when.
-Kankuro isn't doing anything to Lee before he removes weights since Neji would've already warned him of the type of enemy kankuro is. Also Lee wont remove the weights in front of everyone without distance or elevation especially after warnings. He can blitz into the trees , remove them , then return in a flash and attack the sand who'll be attacking the others. Team Gai wont be dead by that time as it would only take seconds to remove them.
Ur blowing away poison gas plan doesn't work as not only would the gas be blown away , but these guys are fast enough to backtrack before the bomb is released and catches them and long before Temari even swings her fan as Shikamaru point-blank avoided her swing and was even complemented for his speed in doing so.

Team-Gai retreats Backwards into the forest after ur poison/wind gas combo , Lee then simply removes weights and vanishes. He then surprises Kankuro , activates the 1st Gate then gives him a clean hit to the head/face/skull or back of the head. Temari then turns around in shock only to get a clean version of this kick to the face amped by the 1st Gate which will **** her face and knock her out cold.

And thats only 2 hits w the 1st Gate active , without even using the Lotus spin on either of these two. And he could still follow up with an atack on Gaara or smash Kankuro and Temari with two more hits after they hit the ground. And he wont get instantly strained since it took eleven hits while kicking a heavy Gaara before Lee started to throb from pain so 4 strikes isn't doing a thing.

No. Lee only gets the super draw-back if he completes the Lotus spinning move , Lee simply using physical attacks with it active only builds strain as shown when he used an upward bicycle kick combo on Gaara and when Sasuke did multiple hits on Yoroi. It doesn't even matter since Lee can save himself with the 2nd Gate if caught in the draw-back of the 1st then stomp any sibling who attacks him.
-Neji not being fast enough to bypass Sand shield is irrelevant , he's fast enough to avoid the attacks and he can block it with Chakra while moving. Dont forget that its a Team-battle so Gaara sending his sand out for Neji who can dodge it only makes it easier for Lee to blitz him which he will , so its silly mentioning Neji not being able to run all day when he doesn't need to , as if his Team would just sit by all day .
Neji tells Lee that Gaara's sand armor takes a ton of chakra as Kankuro mentioned as a weakness. He'll tell Lee to continue to pound at him until Gaara runs low , which will promt Gaara to use sand dome , which i mentioned in my first post.
No , Gaara isn't attackin in Sand dome unless someone attacks the dome an the spikes attack. If he uses sand from the dome then he obviously leaves a space open in the dome which will be seen just like against Diedara. Unless he uses a large amount leaving a bigger hole , he'll always have less sand to attack them with than at the start , which they can already dodge , and his dome and his attacks take Chakra to maintain.

The funny thing is no he cannot damage gaara. I'm sorry but everyone please rewatch/read the fight. Yes Lee appeared to do damage to gaara but be tech did not as gaara just repaired his sand shield and walked away. Every hit Lee did was to the sand.. as he tried to outrun it. Did he get hits in sure but none of them were affective (like the kick to the head).. seriously rewatch the end of the fight gaara is not injured at all his sand tanked everything Lee gave to no avail. We all know Gaara's will is insane so even if either neji or Lee is able to harmnhim it will take a lot to do so. Sauce was first person to damage/ get a clean hit on gaara (sand or no sand) with his chidori.
Also please stop with this neji is poking gaara sand shield crap. Was he able to do it to kidomaru yes but that's because that web stuff was pure chakra like made from it. Gaara's sand is just sand that is being controlled by his mothers will. Does he use chakra to make it stronger faster and more durable at times, yes but the sand itself is still sand. I really do not see neji gentle fist doing anything tbh. His rotation on the other hand is very useful but how long could he keep it up (and no he should not get kidomaru feats in this fight because if he does team sand gets thier feats from sauce retrrivL arc and with thier feats temari could solo team gai at that point with her summoning alone. And that's not even including her terrain changing brother and kankuro sneaky ass)

The added mass of weights should make Lee's kick pack more of a punch especially when his power/strength is increased by gates but Dosu was able to take a clear unobstructed hit and not get knocked out. Again, i'm assuming this is no intel so Temari and Kankuro have no problem forcing Lee to one side of the arena leaving Gaara due to their confidence in him.. at which point Lee is in danger of getting tagged by poison from Kankuro or getting his movements restricted due to being unable to tell when he switches with his puppet.

]. Neji probably ends up retreating making him less likely to assist Lee by voicing assistance. Jyuken could possibly remove Gaara's own chakra.. but there's no way to gauge how much speed the sand will lose as it will still automatically protect Gaara. Not to mention Gaara can control regular sand so Neji touching his sand could be to his detriment as the intent is to kill suggesting Gaara goes for the crushing move immediately. At the age of 8 he legitamtly tried to end his life and the sand stopped him. What more proof do you need that if you cannot bypass that sand (to which Lee never did. Down to the 5th gates did nothing to gaaea what's so ever as he repaired his sand armor and walked away) neji may be able to dodge it like Lee but he will not be able to get around it. Lee had the same problem but he was able to get around it duebto his gates (but couldn't land a decisive blow). Neji doesit have this

Agree, neji doesnt have reflexive quality of lee to evade all the sand and get beyond and strike gaara who will also be protected by the armor of shukaku.
