I agree, he left Sakura to find her own way, which is horrible because he should have know what was to come in the chunnin exams, this is when kishi should have developed her genjutsu ability initially with what kakashi had already noted about her earlier in the series. But nope. Send her to chunnin exams with basic jutsu.

Her matchup would not have been so nice if it wasnt ino she fought.

Naruto is lucky to have had others to help him earlier as well.

kakashi was a good sensei all around he was just an uchiha sympathest cuz of him and obito. saw a lot of himself in sasuke.

and he knew jiraiya would take care of naruto and would be a much better sensei and master to naruto than himself. and he still taught naruto the rasen-shuriken.

She could have mained Genjutsu in part 1 prior to Tsunade coming. There would have been nothing wrong with that, he could have even put in a favor with kurenai since his own genjutsu was limited.

Kakashi is awesome at training individually (Sasuke for his chidori and taijutsu training, and Naruto for his kage bunshin training).

However, as an overall teacher he is like a capitalist lol, he shows extreme favoritism.

To this day, Sasuke is his favorite student.

Lol blame kishi, the only good sensei in the manga are madara uchiha and the frog sages.

Jiriaya- in two years he only taught naruto the Odama rasengan, when we know naruto learns insanly fast- kage bunshin learned in hours, rasengan in Weeks etc.....

All joinin sensei were pretty bad.

Each sensei had a favorite and pretty much focused on one student:
-Gai focused on Lee. Neji was already really skilled, Tenten literally had no character growth and was never really in the picture
-Asuma focused on Shikamaru, both acted similar. The only reason he was their leader was because the Sarutobi clan works well with Nara, Yamanaka and Choji's clan
-Kurenai focused on Hinata

Each of them played favorites and weren't all that great of teachers. The only problem Kakashi had was dealing with 2 outsiders that lost everything they ever had

- Gai focused on all. when lee trained, he trained all. However, lee simply hangs out with him more.
- Asuma, liked shikamaru.. however, when it came to power he favored Choji out of anything.
- Kurenai.. ehh from the screen she had to deal with hinata's stituation more.

^^^ all of them trained their gennins as a team.
