A vast amout of Amaterasu would definatly stop it. A very large amout, would disenegrate a TBB as soon as contact is made it'll be too much fire to sift through. But a small amount wouldn't.

Amaterasu can't burn chakra! xd It burned Garras sand, which is chakra, and garra couldn't retreive it back. And it burned Sasukes Katon Jutsu which is Chakra. It burned through Raikages ration armor which is Chakra.

garra gets real sand and infuses with chakra. but the rest ur right. tbb cant clash with amaterasu tho.

It wouldn't clash. The TBB would just launch at Sasuke, and Sasuke would use Amaterasu directly on Naruto, burning Naruto, while Sasuke is one second away from being blasted by the TBB. lol

Sasuke wouldn't target the TBB, he would target Naruto himself.

No even if he targets Naruto it wud have to clash with the tbb because it is not instant to where Sasuke looks, instead it has a speed in which it travels. Also I don't think any clashing will occur, rather the tbb wud just go right through amatarasu and Sasuke and well........ the end, unless Sasuke has susanoo on maybe.

You cannot really compare because tbb is most effective against a vast number of people due to its sheer power and time it takes to materialise, whilst amaterasu is most effective against 1 on one situations
