Tayuya wouldn't have lasted very long even if she did survive. She wasn't even strong.

-Shikamaru was able to free himself by breaking his own finger. This proves the level of her genjutsu is mediocre at best
-Her 3 summons could be defeated by anyone in the current manga with brute strength alone
