Appearance: Tanacetum himself is an enormous being, taking a distinctly non human form he towers over most people, with a muscular frame he has a very primal look, deceptive given his keen mind. Atop his shoulders he wears armor formed of a primordial monstrosity he destroyed, with the beasts tusks being used like shoulder pads. His brown skin is covered in tribal tattoos and his mouth contains razor sharp teeth and notably two tusks on the lower jaw.
Personality: From his father his will for conflict was born, Tanacetum is a warrior-born. Though Tanacetum was once highly briefly favorable to diplomacy. His hot-headed nature came to the test during the conquest in the north,, where Tanacetum was quick to dismiss the more practical concerns during war in favor of a glorious battle, believing the fighting spirit of his horde alone was enough to bring down their foes. He has employed ruthless but effective tactics on the battlefield, as noted by his siblings. Unlike Aureliana, who prefers to keep discreet tabs on her more dubious allies, Tanacetum has no qualms about speaking his mind — making no effort to hide his low opinion on the humans and even some Arali.
Tanacetum strongly believes in the value of honor, and in a fair fight. This had led him to show a distaste for the tactics of both his siblings and threatened the life of Phetra after the events of the northern conquest.
Tanacetum is well-known for his fierce hatred of the Golden Order and humanity in general. This appears to stem from his belief that his people deserve a better quality of life than his lands can offer and views humanity as his primary obstacle in making this happen. To this end, he has expressed the desire for war with his horde's rival factions multiple times, and was of the opinion that they should simply take what they need. His failures to easily attain whatever he wants for his people,, the siblings and humanities tenacity in the war, and the doubt and disrespect that some show him, slowly push him towards insanity with his aggression extending to his own siblings and could be culminating in a plan of complete genocide of anything not of his brood.
His disregard for a more diplomatic approach is applauded by many of his people, who view his uncompromising attitude in regards to securing his people a future to be inspiring. Tanacetum himself is becoming aware of the tested bonds between him and his fellow sired of Abzu, though he doesn't care, and indeed his solution to them is simply to make them enemies as well

Asterion, commonly referred to as the Domain of War, is a well defined region of territory dominated by Tanacetum, the God of War. It is situated in the far north in the territory once claimed by the former Village Hidden in Snow. Despite his epitaph as the God of War, Tanaceetum’s reign is predicated on strategy and not brute force. He is the embodiment of a classical militaristic autocrat, ruling through his armed forces rather than through established bureaucracy. He is as ruthless as he is strategically minded, though not cruel or arbitrary by any means. His reign is not founded on an idea of self-aggrandizement or pleasure, but rather bettering his realm, expanding it, and proving to all others that his style of rule is the best for the planet’s development in the wake of his father’s cataclysm. The bulk of Tanacetum’s forces are formed from the last remaining Children of Tiamat, giving the exiled Children a place to call home and serve rather than be reviled by humanity. Though, one strategic challenge facing Tanacetum is the demise of the Hokubu which was purified after Abzu’s rise, cutting the Regent off from a reliable source of military might. Tanacetum has a particular disdain for humans, especially the Monks of the Human Order and the Golden Amputation.
