(My first time. Please respectfully tell me what you think. The Prologue is short on purpose, it just introduces the setting and other things by me implying them. If you read closely you'll know when this takes place and something else.)

It was a clear day in the countryside of the country of grass. A calm breeze passed through with a warm sun smiling above. Hikusa slapped the cool stream's water onto his face. This fair child of 5 was exploring the knooks and crannies of the meadow near his hut. He scratched his long blonde hair and turned to run up a nearby hill. Satisfied by his expedition of 30 minutes, he strolled on back home. There his father and mother awaited him. The father was a master at fire and wind ninjutsu, while the mother mastered genjutsu. Their hut was part of an outpost set by the Hidden Leaf village in the Grass Country. His father, Shine, and his mother, Shinda, were assigned to observe the grass ninjas' actions and during their stay, Hikusa was born. He knew nothing of the his family living in the leaf, but he always knew how differently the other children treated him. He did not act like them, dress like them, or even speak like them. They always ridiculed him because of his family's strange blood-red eyes. It didn't bother him though. Most of the kids were sent away to a camp his parents oversaw and lived there forever he presumed. Upon returning, he gave his mother a big embrace. She told him, with a look of melancholy, please son, from now on stay home."

"Why, mama?"

"It's not safe anymore."

"WHY?"

The father stepped in, "The nations are fighting for a third time."

Mhm, I was not able to get how the story would go on but, I guess its because it was short, so don't mind that part. As far as writing skills are concerned, you're not bad.:) I'll check the next chapter.
