Reason that lightning is attracted to metals…
One day, Elias challenged Madara to a blacksmithing contest. Who ever created the best weapon out of metal would win. Elias, being the god of blacksmithing and metals, obviously won. Madara, however, wasn’t happy with this, so he cursed metals to conduct electricity very well. Then, anyone who touches it would receive a painful shock because they are embracing the metal-work of Elias.
Reason that Kirigakure is so prosperous even though it is cut off from the main lands, and why they cannot be one with the water.
Kirigakure, being in the middle of the sea, is within Grimmjow’s territory. The reason why it is so prosperous is because they are the people of the water. Grimmjow and the old ocean spirits blessed the people of Kirigakure with the gift of water. But the people misused the power and Grimmjow slaughtered half the people in the village and warned the rest to never misuse the power for selfish needs. The people lost their ability to freely manipulate water, and every time a person wants to use suiton, they must be near water.
Reason why celestial beings are active in the Blood Tavern II
Before the 2nd tavern was built, thousands of years ago, this area was the childhood shelter of Madara himself. As a nymphs held him right above the ground in order to protect him from Versuvio, he grew into a man and overthrew his father. Then, he blessed this sacred land as the birthplace of the gods.

BiBi- For the love of BiBi (for the love of pete)
Madara- Madara’s showers bring Misa flowers (April showers bring may showers)
Elias- Smithers can’t be players (Beggers can’t be choosers) [Explanaition: Elias is the lame god who spends his time alone and is always rejected by women]
Misa- A Misa’s work is never done (A woman’s work is never done)
Roku- As long as Roku shines, one does not ask for Haku.
(As long as the sun shines one does not ask for the moon)
L.- Stealers keepers, earners weepers (Finders keepers, losers weepers)
Jessie- Marriages are made by Jessie (Marriages are made in heaven)
Ragnaroc- Blood is thicker than water, but wine is thicker than blood (Blood is thicker than water)
Haku- No matter how good a Haku dog is, it cannot kill a leopard. (No matter how good a hunting dog is it cannot kill a leopard)
Akira- Akira will move mountains (Faith will move mountains)
