You didnt kill the last clone because that summoning of the claw thingy then you went to attack him gives him time to jump back due to the fact that was a taijutsu style attack you went to use, he was the one that made the pond

and I saw it as you only going after the real me I would have my clone attack you while your focused on attacking me
