Takemikazuchi’s Anvil

The Anvil has been historically regarded as the example of human ingenuity and their capacity for mineral collection and distribution. However, with the Cataclysm's untimely influence, the coastal region of Takemikazuchi's Anvil had been swallowed up by various hurricanes and other destructive washing efforts of nature, filling the large, spiraling chasm that is the Iron Pit, turning it into nearly that of a lake. All those that once maintained the deposit were now long gone, and as such the hope for the operation to be recovered was abandoned until Asterion's occupation over the area. With bellowing smoke and metal machinery that rivaled modern technology -albeit crude in their appearances- are arranged arround the perimeter of the Pit, where the water has steadily been dealt with, reduced to steam as they introduced violently hot magma-iron to the pit, subsequently casting the pit in a shell of iron as it cooled. This shell would come to reinforce the walls of the Pit, allowing for Asterion's forces to build upon its interior for not only harvesting purposes, but also as a well protected armory and smithy, where a large portion of their military armaments are produced.

Kiriyuin stepped out of her home to see the sunlight basking on the landscape. The time had come, for the Children of the Cosmos to be known. She was the rightful heir and the lands would know of her and her clan. Stepping forward, she could feel the universe's power flowing through her, connected to the force of everything as it slowly spread around her body.

The world will know Kiriyuin Satsuki Tenshi.

Win a fight without your ninjutsu (5)
Rank: S
Description:

With Kiriyuin seeking to claim her birthright of Hallow Bastion, she would need to prove her strength. Finding an undeground fight club, she defeats the leader without ninjutsu.

Kiriyuin knew that there was one surefire way to increase the legacy of her reputation, and it was to build strength through stories. That meant that she would need to win fights, to let the people know, especially her mother, that she was coming home. Kiriyuin was taken by the family valet from a young age, hidden away before her mother could put her through the right of passage from the Cosmos legacy which would have surely killed Kiriyuin before she was properly trained.
Walking about, Kiriyuin decided to see where she could start to build her legacy as there was the samurai base of operations, but even their respectful and honour bound society had a seedy underbelly. Disgraced samurai looking to reclaim honour, mercs looking for work or to increase their pockets. It was in the market she overheard the men talking.

"Yeah, tonight at the dock warehouse the arena club is happening. you can win big money there. all the fights end either with missing limbs or someone bleeding out"

It wasnt exactly a gracious start, but then again it had to start somewhere. Waiting till nightfall, she scoured the docks till she found one warehouse that had its lights still on. Men crammed in as they formed a ring between two men already fighting.

Thud, a tall muscular fighter struck out and with a blow to his opponents chin he was down on the ground knocked out.

"Ahah YEAHHH Who is gonna take on the champ! No one can beat Kuma!"

Kiriyuin gracefully jumped down into the ring from the rafters, her silent landing drawing a gasp and murmur from the crowd.

I will be your opponent.

Bahaha You? Get out of here girlie, this aint a place you wanna be!

Why dont you make me?

The taunt worked as he roared with fury his cheeks flushing red and lunging towards Kiriyuin. The brute had speed and strength, but Kiriyuin had grace. The cosmic chakra that raced through her blood giving her the advantage that none of them had. A swift turn on her heel and she was behind the giant man he hair whipping in a black blur in front of his face as she disappeared from his view.

WH-WHAT

Kiriyuin gave a swift rabbit punch to the back of the mans neck, expecting him to go down easily, however she misjudged just how much muscle was inside this man. He did not go down so easily, he chop merely enraging him.

ILL SHOW YOU!

He spun on the spot, his arm swung wide as she hopped backwards, landing on her heel, performing a heel kick as she cartwheel back flipped. Catching the opponent in the chin she could hear the crunch of her heel catching his chin.

BAHH

He coughed up some blood as Kiriyuin maintained her composure. A lady must never show any distress.

Youre gonna get it now. When Im done with you, you aint gonna be able to stand again!

Well, lets see you get close enough first.

Kiriyuin taunted again, confident in her ability, but misjudging the crowd around her. They didnt want to see a graceful display, just a bloody and gruesome fight. Pushing her from behind, she lurched forwards as her eyes went wide from surprise. Kuma would pun ch his first forward, his gorilla like hand almost as big as her face. Kiriyuin barely had time to lean back as she slid on her knees underneath her fist. She would never win a contest of brute strength, and needed to come up with a strategy here. This was a fight club and she needed to find a way to win just within the fight. There was a moment where she pause lost in though formulating a strategy as she began to run through the decisions while the brute approached. Time slowed to a crawl as his steps echoed through the warehouse, the cheer and jeers of the crowd as they drank or ate and waved their money about. Perhaps she would need to fight him, but she could get him to fight others....
Kiriyuin edged to the crowd, slowly side stepping as he wound up to strike her. His fist threw forward as she stepped again to the side, and sure enough, a sickening crunch as it connected with one of the men behind her.

Oops...

What.. YOU LITTLE..

HEY WATCH IT!

It started, as the man jumped in the circle and began to wrestle Kuma. It was a start but enough for her to jump in and strike both insides of his knees. The joints buckled as he fell down, the crowd cheering as the spectator that joined was thrown over Kumas head. Kiriyuin took the advantage to strike his chin with her elbow, the strongest part of a body. There was a moment where his eyes rolled back in his head, and he slumped forward into the ground.

Alright I guess that means Im the winner!

The crowd were half and half. Some happy that Kuma had finally ended his win streak while others unhappy they lost their money. It ended abruptly while there was a shuffle from behind Kiriyuin.

Id aint ober yed,,,,

Blood pouring from his nose and mouth, Kuma was up on his feet and looking dizzy.

Take Thiz...

Forming a few seals and placing his hand on the ground, a pillar of Earth shaped like a fist grew infront of him before leaning forward and charging towards Kiriyuin.

I guess he may be a sore loser then....

Kiriyuin slowed her breath, allowing the Cosmic Chakra to flow through her. She would prove her strength, the fact that her fist would be stronger than any jutsu that can be thrown at her. Kiriyuins eyes went wide, the anger looking directly into Kumas eyes and she took a powerful stance, and with all the strength in her fist punched forward, shattering the earth as it exploded around her. She stepped forward breathing in and raising her fist infront of Kuma.

No....Noo please...

Kiriyuin was never going to strike, but she wanted to instill a fear and respect from these people.

You will all learn the Name Kiriyuin Satsuki Tenshi...

Dropping a smoke bomb from her pocket, Kiriyuin made her escape up the crates and out a skylight leaving the thungs and underworld to begin to question, who is Kiriyuin Satsuki...

Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Mega Blaziken is a large Sage ranked bipedal chicken-like Pokemon with red and black feathers. The majority of Blaziken's body is red with accents of beige, yellow, and gray. Behind its head, there are beige, hair-like feathers that continue downward and surround its chest and abdomen. It has a small red face with a V-shaped crest on its head. Blaziken has an ability called Speed Boost which increases his base speed +1 level every turn. This affects his base speed and so it will stack with speed boosting modes or abilities. • Defeat a huge horde of undead without destroying the bodies.

Alucard was positioned at the end of the world, the icy waters chilled his bones and upon arriving Takemikazuchi’s Anvil he and his summons would encounter its massive and world famous unnatural mine that had been there forever. The small city underneath would be the perfect seat for someone like Tepes. He went by the main road from the coast and traversed inlands, towards the open mine pit. As they started to descend, they met with a few workers, miners and also citizens of the small city under the ground. Everything seemed quite normal. Alucard and his summons had stopped at one of the cafés to take a break from everything - when hell broke loose. From the surface, what seemed to be humans encased in ice started to fall down and break into pieces that shattered what was a calm place. Reaching out to quickly stop the increasing amount of bodies, Blaziken created a gigantic orb of scorch that would lit up the empty space in the pit and torch all the increasing ice bodies. The orb would expand and start to shred into particles that would seek out the ice bodies and collapse them into steam that floated upwards due to entropy.

(Shakuton: Arumagedon) Scorch Release: Armageddon
Rank: S-Rank
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The user will channel their scorch chakra into the sky and form a giant orb the size of giant boulder. The user will then snap their fingers and cause the orb to explode into a fiery meteor strike of mini orbs of scorch, the size of Aburame bugs. The scorch orbs pack a good impact and burn anything they touch while the user can manipulate where they hit, allowing them to remain safe.
Note: Can only be used twice

Meanwhile, Alucard rushed towards the surface while forcing Akemi to stay and help the people. What he saw once he was out of the expanding hellhole was something that even shocked him.

What the actual ****?!

The scenery was that of something out of a horror movie. From the icy shores, an entire nation's worth of plague blistered humans marched, carrying mutative blisters and some of them were even encased in ice due to the extremely cold weather and the icy water. There was no way these people were actually "alive" anymore due to the ragged bodies and the obvious hypothermia that would occur by being completely frozen and not to mention swam from god knows where through oblivious waters. They all marched towards the pit, the only sign of life within their sight. It was like they were not just undead but also possessed by some sort of virus that had one single ambition - to kill everything. Their eyes were all the same though, black and red, some with blisters on big as an entire closed fist. A pandemic surely was coming and if even this remote side of the world was affected, the more populated places would surely be put at an incredible risk. Seeing as he was the only one with the potential to save the nation from this devastating force, Alucard were forced to set up a perimiter across the border of the city so that none of the walking virus bombs could come any further and risk infecting more people. He did this by altering the course of the land, using an enormous amount of chakra, Alucard would slam his hands on the ground and create a huge canyon between the pit and the shores with ragged structures and so steep that it would be impossible for even the greatest climbers in the world to get out of. Having done so, the oceanic ice cold water would start to run down the steep on the other side and create a flash flood, drowning essentially a good portion of the horde. The natural water would slowly but surely turn into a solid ice that stretched out to the edges of the sea, trapping the horde of the undead in a colossal block.

Earth release!

(Doton: Daichidōkaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

It wasnt secure though, if this was a virus, it wasn't sure to tell how it would react. Some viruses even thrived better in the cold than in the warmth. Having slowed down the horde to some extent, Alucard, Akemi and Blaziken regrouped on the surface while the inhabitants and workers fleed the mines and headed south east. While they were thinking on what to do, some of the plagued humans broke free from the ice and started to head in a slow but steady coursed towards the trio. Akemi gathered up her lightning chakra and was ready to fire a barrage of bolts that would disintegrate the walking corpses. However, Alucard halted her.

Stop, we don't know how this shit spreads. If we destroy their bodies, it is very plausible we're destroying the only thing that actually contains the virus. Maybe that's why their bodies are doing the best they can to get out from the boundaries.

Good thinking, but what do we do now?

I'll figure out something. Right now we need to make sure to stop these dead bodies from creating a global pandemic. Don't get physical and don't destroy their bodies. Looking your way Bruce Volcano Lee.

..Blaazee..

Actually that leaves me out too. You're on your own in this one Alucard.

Pft, i guess it does.

Seeing as a majority of the infested undead horde broke free from the ice, a clear 20% were still trapped in the massive ditch Alucard had created. Only 80% to go - he thought. Realising he could use assistance while clearing up, he decided to cloak Blaziken in an armor made from polystyrene. This would shield Blaziken even if he would make direct contact with the deceased while also deafen the punches of his techniques to internal damage rather than physical, transferring the kinetic energy into a more spread out fashion than direct. This was great in this scenario and allowed Blaziken to assist effortlessly. As the white armour surrounded his body, Blaziken opened the gate of view and headed for the east flank to push a multitude of undead back into the icy slush of the sinkhole. Opening the gate of view might've seemed a bit overkill but it was because speed was a necessity at this point rather than pure force which was also the reason for Blaziken to keep doing simple manoeuvres to blockade the threat while inflicting as little damage as possible but rather create a knock-back crowd-controling style. It's use of flicker evasions was of create help and seemed to almost teleport the undead back into the pit in a constant pace.

(Porisuchiton: Shiroi Sabaku | Polystyrene Release: White Desert)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S(S)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40(-10 per turn)
Damage: 20-80
Description: The jack of all trades release for the porisuchiton release. The user can form any structures from the polystyrene pellets they want. The user can create weapons, armour and well anything that they need. D and C ranked usage requires no handseals, B rank requires one, A rank requires two and S rank requires three handseals. D, C and B rank may be used indefinitely as long as the user has a chakra pool, A ranks can be used 5 times per battle and S rank can be used 4 times per battle. A rank variation has a cooldown of one turn per use, S rank has a cooldown of two turns after use. This lets the user channel porisuchiton chakra through the earths crust and create miniature sinkholes or other structures. The user can also form polystyrene directly from their body. Unless the user fuels chakra into the polystyrene, it will fall flat on the earths surface as it is too light to sustain any forms by itself unlike other solid materials.

Note: B-ranks require a single handseal, A ranks two handseals and S rank three handseals.
Note: A rank version can be used 5 times per battle, with a cooldown of one turn, S rank 4 with a cooldown of two turns.
Note: No other Polystyrene techniques in the same turn S-rank version is used

( Hachimon ) The Eight Inner Gates
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. The user opens the gates in sequence, up to the desired gate to achieve its effects. Opening the gates is a fast process and can be done in mere moments up to the desired gate. EIG Masters can do so easily and in a passive way (not spending a move). When one opens up to a given EIG, that opening lasts 4 turns. Opening additional gates upon the last turn of the active opening adds 2 turns. However, there is an exception. Opening the last and 8th gate can only be done for 2 turns, even if the user opens it immediately.
  • (Kaimon) - The Gate of Opening: The user activates The Gate of Opening or First Gate, which is located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so he can begin to access 100% of their strength. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus. This gate adds +5 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 1.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -5 damage per turn.
  • (Kyūmon) - The Gate of Healing: The user activates the Gate of Healing or 2nd Gate (also named Rest Gate) which is located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. This gate adds +10 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -10 damage.
  • (Seimon) - The Gate of Life: The user activates the Gate of Life or 3rd Gate which is located in the Spinal cord. The increased blood flow turns the skin red. Allows the user to use Hidden Lotus. This gate adds +15 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • (Shōmon) - The Gate of Pain: The user activates the Gate of Pain or 4th Gate (also named Wound Gate) which is located in the Spinal cord, lower than the Seimon. Increases the user's strength and speed. May cause muscle tissue to begin to tear on use. This gate adds +20 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • (Tomon) - The Gate of Limit: The user activates the Gate of Limit or 5th gate, which is located in the abdomen. Increases the user's speed and power. This gate adds +30 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3.5x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • (Keimon) - Gate of View: The user activates the Gate of View or 6th Gate, located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. This gate adds +40 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 4x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -25 damage.
  • (Kyōmon) - The Gate of Wonder: The user activates the Gate of Wonder or 7th Gate which is located below the stomach. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. However, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds after exiting this gate, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger without great strain on the user's chakra. This gate adds +60 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 7x faster. This gate also adds +20 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -40 damage.
  • (Shimon) - The Gate of Death: The user activates the Gate of Death or 8th Gate, located at the heart, requiring the user to puncture their chest just above the heart in order to open it, enabling the user to achieve what is described as The Eight Gates Released Formation" ( Hachimon Tonkō no Jin ). Opening this gate will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood ( Chi no Jōki ) from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power. Exceeding the power of every other gate, the user is temporarily granted approximately a hundred times their normal power, far beyond that of the five Kage. Once activated, those who are capable can perform the Evening Elephant and the Night Guy. The side effect of opening this gate is that it comes at the expense of the user's life, causing the user to crumble to ash after their chakra runs out, having virtually cooked themselves from the inside-out. This is unlike opening the other gates, which simply injure or damage the body. This gate adds +120 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 8x faster and allows the user to warp space with his speed.
Note: The EIG users can only open the gates twice per fight, meaning that if he allows the EIG opening to time out, he can only open the EIGs once more during the match. EIG Masters can open EIGs three per battle if the first two uses are only up to 5th gate
Note: Starting with the fourth gate, EIG users begin to feel the side effects of each gate as they time out. EIG Masters don't suffer damage from opening up to 6th Gate, being left unable to move correctly for 2 turns and unable to mold chakra above S rank in the next turn. EIG Masters will feel the side effects for opening 7th Gate and up.
Note: The user cannot use other self powering techniques (such as custom variations of Lightning Armor, Sage Mode, etc) while he has EIG opened
Note: Opening the 8th Gate kills the user at the end of the 2 turns it remains opened.

(Chiratsuki Kaihi) Flicker Evasion
Type: Defensive
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description:
A skill usable by all EIG users and masters, once one has opened at least one of the EIG, he will move at high speeds to dodge, attack or defend from techniques. The ability pertains to movement in the battle field, meaning running, walking, jumping, dashing, etc and its speed depends on the Gate currently opened.
Note: This version can only be used by EIG masters with at least one gate opened

(Hirateuchi) Slap x OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND!!!!!!!
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20 (+40)
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with an open hand, slapping him. It can also be used for defensive purposes to slap incoming limbs or weapons.

The bodies started to pile up into the slushy pit as Blaziken rounded up the independently walking virus zombies. There was now the problem of isolating them in some sort of medium that they could use to secure them forever. The strategy would need to incorporate fūinjutsu that was for damn sure, but the problem now was to find or create a large enough container for some thousand undead infected bodies. As he worked on a strategy, more and more undead started to free themselves from the pit and Blaziken was starting to knock back less undead than was coming up. Alucard would take out a couple of kunais with special seals ontop of them and toss them in all the flanks that the undead were started to increase with multitudes of numbers.

(Porisuchiton/Fūinjutsu: Riddiculus | Polystyrene Release/Sealing Arts: Riddiculus)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S rank
Range: N/A
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: This technique is simple but very effective. The user places a seal that contains compressed polystyrene quantities inside of it on a physical object and when it is triggered the mass of polystyrene will expand rapidly and while it does deal blunt damage it will also create a knockback AoE effect towards the area affected by its expanse. Because of the shock absorbing and repelling properties of polystyrene the concentrated mass will behave like a huge spherical trampoline and knock everything back in the opposite direction of their relation to where the expansive mass of polystyrene originates from. The mass expands up to mid range from wherever the seal activates from in a huge sphere. The seal is the source of the mass and so the seal and anything that the seal touches initially is unharmes as the mass expands from the top of the seal. This makes it ideal for protecting goods or make a troll kunai for example. The user cannot use polystyrene techniques above B rank while the seal is in place, active or not as well as hindering the user from fuinjutsu above A rank. The mass will disperse after being on the field for one turn. The seal is triggered by spending a move and performing three hand seals.

Note: Can be used 4 times per battle and requires two turns after one seal is triggered and a new seal can be placed. The user can only have one seal active on the field at one time.
Note: The user can passively place the seal but to activate the seal requires a move.

The four kunais would land where the streams of undead were marching and exploded into a huge sphere of the bouncy material and knocked them back with great force without destroying their bodies. This bought him and Blaziken some time to figure out what to do with this large force. Since the affected were pretty strong, the container would have to be able to take on huge amounts of kinetic force and weight while simultaneously be strong enough. Alucard then came up with a plan, it was not going to look pretty but to hell with it, this was quite the emergency. He had to recall Blaziken for this one as he had to retract its armour in order to use his chakra properly. Blaziken returned to his masters side and the armour fell to the ground as Alucard would've stopped using chakra to uphold it.

This will be quite a strain, but needs must..

Alucard would expel a massive amount of winds that would enshroud the entire field while simultaneously channel Yin chakra into the technique, making it take on a solid form and the walls would soon shape into a large box of winds that there was no escape from.

(Fūton: Kiryū Ranbu) - Wind Release: Air Current Wild Dance
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40 (+15 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After making the Rat handseal, the user creates and controls air currents from the palms of their hands, forming a large field of raging air currents and gusting winds. The technique expands quickly, rapidly spanning through all of the battle field, gathering debris, dust and other small particles in its path. The technique effectively creates a very large controllable "dust" storm.

Note: Lasts 3 turns or until released.
(Inton: Ten ni henkō) - Yin Release: Change into Heaven
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A (+50)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user manipulates a technique of the basic 5 elements with Yin nature, allowing him to change its properties. Fire can become solid. Lightning can become tangible. The possibilities are as endless as is the user’s own imagination. The end resulting technique is neutral to all basic elemental natures. This doesn't consume time since it’s actually a skill applied to a technique used at the same time.
Note: Yin Release masters can apply this technique to advanced fields, CE and advanced elements.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and 6 times per event.

This combination would create an air prison, with walls made from transparent and solid air, much like the known substance Aerogel but much purer. The air currents drew the undead from the water and up to the skies, concentrated into one massive orb of rotten bodies where it then would be solidified by the Yin release and fall to the ground. Alucard quickly ran towards the funball.

This is a reckoning. I've god the perfect seal for all of ya'll poor bastards.

He would reach out from his pocked the generic seal and put iton its exterior of the air sphere, which in turn would send out an array ofkanji seals across its surface and completely stun all the dead bodies trapped inside of it and make them unable to move, use chakra or escape by any means plausible.

( Fūin Fuda ) – Sealing Tag
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: A basic sealing technique where the user places one or more tags either directly on a target or on a technique which is restraining it. As its placed, a sealing formula spreads around the technique or the target, sealing it. This technique has been seen used with Sand ninjutsu, Earth, Water, Wood, Cloth Ninjutsu, etc but basically any technique in which you can apply the tags can be used. In the case of expert ninjas, the tags might even be incorporated into the restraining technique, with no need to actually manually place the tag or tags. Additionally, less experienced ninjas can find that throwing one or more kunais with the sealing tags attached at the technique which will trigger the same effect when the kunais stick on the technique. This prevents the target from moving, molding chakra or even being summoned.
Note: The seal takes a while to form, so most opponents can either counter the restraining technique (thus preventing the sealing formula of taking effect) or rip off the tags from themselves negating its effects entirely. If the target, however, fails to counter the restraining technique or is counter to it fails or if he doesn't remove the tags in his next move, then the seal will fully be placed and the target unable to release himself.
Note: This technique is specially designed to be used on summons and Edo Tensei Summons but will work on any opponent except Jinchurikiis.

The job was done, well nearly. There was the small fact of placing this huge sphere somewhere and mark it for people to know what was contained within it. Alucard placed his hands on the ground yet again and created a massive spherical pit, 20 meters deep and 20 meters wide.

(Doton: Chidōkaku) - Earth Release: Moving Earth Core
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

He then smashed the sphere into the hole and sealed it by covering up the remains of the canvas around the pit.

(Doton no Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique x 5
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

When that was all done, he would make a monument that protrude from the rocks and leave a tag on it that just basically said.

Hey kids, wanna see a dead body?

With all of that debacle taken care of, during the fight, there had been lots of freed bacteria through the air, all the punched undead and the water from which they came from was surely now completely contaminated. While it wasn't feacable to distilerate the entire ocean, Alucard thought it would be a good idea to sanitise the battlefield as well as sending a shockwave of lightning into the water which would spread for miles around and kill off anything small like virus. Alucard and Blaziken both sat the battlefield on fire while Akemi was about to release her lightning into the ocean when Alucard just realized something.

Wait stop, you're going to kill the virus surely but you'll also kill millions of other lifeforms in the sea. I cant let you use that technqiue afterall.
The sea is fucked.
It looks like it..

The trio left the godforsaken shore and headed inlands to see if there were any stranded civilians around, which the found a few of. They slapped their asses back on their feet and headed towards the inland borders. He then instructed a gathered local militia to summon the samurai back to their lands and protect the border against more of these infected undead and use whatever means necessary to sanitise the water and air around them to prevent spreading of the bacteria or virus whatever it was. With this new threat coming on to the world, Alucard abandoned his original plan of hunting the roaming criminal and would instead set his mind of getting to the bottom with this new outbreak. He would use Akemi to swim across the ocean, far west and into the badlands of the earth. Since he had not come across these undead previously when he had travelled from east, he figured that maybe they origin from the west. His journy into the new arc had just begun and with it, he had safely defended an entire landmark against an epidemic with vast numbers. One needed to be powerful to do the deed but Alucard does live up to those standards nowadays.

Coming from Aisu Bay.

This post encompasses an A-rank mission containing the following storyboard elements:
  • Infiltrate an enemy's organization (4)
  • Capture an important target (4)

“And that’s when it hit me,” Hawke continued to yell over the howl of the wind that tore at the mountainside he and his Brothers were scaling. “We gotta get in on this underground boom, see?”

“I can’t sssee a thing!” Snivels wailed from just beneath him, though his lisp and the wind conspired to make his words nearly unintelligible. “There’sss too much sssnow!”

The Brotherhood, thirteen strong if one counted their newly-conscripted eleven-year-old, were climbing the treacherous, frozen peaks of the Iron Peninsula on their way to the great pit mine of Takemikazuchi’s Anvil. With only ropes, pitons and spiked boots they crept their way across the landscape, avoiding the Samurai patrols who rightfully thought the mountains impassable. All it had taken was eight hours of backbreaking climbing through a snowstorm. Once again the Brothers had left the comforts of their ship behind for work, but to Hawke’s mind this time was different.

“I had the right idea back East,” Hawke continued to explain, all but screaming in order to be heard over the mountain’s icy rage. “Order can work for us, but it needs to be on our terms.” His hand shot out and caught the wrist of Snivels just as a snowdrift gave out under the man, but barely had he regained his footing before Hawke continued. “And going to pick up our money from Red was a real eye-opener about scaling, yeah?”

“It really was!” Misk roared through the whipping winds from off somewhere to the side, his terror evident. “Let’s go back, please!”

-And it taught me a lesson about ownin’ shit,“ Hawke continued unheeding and without faltering. “It really pays.”

“Don’t pay enough for this!” Brother Brok complained from just up ahead, managing somehow to holler and moan at the same time. “We gotta go back to the ship!”

But despite the complaints of his troupe their Dear Leader simply went on, and so did they. Through the ice and snow, through the mountains and its winds the Brothers went on. Sometimes they came perilously close to losing one of their number, but every time Hawke would perform some acrobatic feat to catch hands, feet or ends of rope just in time to keep them all safe from disaster. And for all this time he never one stopped his pitch; this insane idea of somehow taking the Brotherhood to the next level.

“-Even though we have to take them first, once we’ve got them these kinds of mines will earn us Ryo by the boatload. It’s passive versus active, you get me?”

“NO!” was always the collective reply, but Hawke simply started over again.

~x~

“Anyway,” Hawke droned on in front of the gathered workmen. “To make a long story short you lot are now under new management.” Bewildered and skeptical looks were exchanged upon the announcement, but Garrett moved on to the terms undeterred. “Work will continue, and we’ll soon be bringing in some extra labor. There’s so much room for expansion around here.” He made a sweeping motion with his hand towards the imposing, shadowy pit shaft that rose up around them. The dark metal allowed only a small disc of light to shine through from its faraway top end, leaving the workers of the mine in perpetual twilight even when out of the deeper tunnels.

Sneaking into the depths of the Anvil had been the easy part, requiring only a good ear, quiet steps and a steady knife. As far as Hawke was concerned taking over the place in earnest without causing catastrophic amounts of damage was the tough nut to crack. What had yet to click for the miners was the fact that Hawke was not making his speech to convince them of anything other than the merits of running for their lives.

And then come back tomorrow, to help with the refurbishments of course.

“But I digress,” he ignored the meaningful thumbs-up Misk sent his way. “I’m twelve feet tall and anyone who doesn’t do what I say will have their skull popped like a melon.”

That got a more spirited reaction from the workmen, who shared an assortment of frightened gasps and mutters while taking a collective step back away from Hawke and his shovel hands. Some looked around furtively for the Samurai guards that usually prowled the dark corners of the pit. They were all gone though and Hawke had to give credit where credit was due. The Brothers were no match for the giants, but they were a nightmare for the foot soldiers. The daggers of Lau and Liu alone had snuffed out eight guards between them. Trask, their newest member, had been ordered to kill a captive taken specifically for the occasion. The first mission for a new Brother always called for a kill like that. The kid had wet himself but managed not to cry, to his credit. For that he got to keep the young Samurai’s sword and tantō. The Brothers had still been handing out head ruffles to the young Brother when Hawke had begun his speech.

“Now get the hell out of here,” he concluded finally with a dismissive wave that sent the miners scrambling for the stairs and pulleys that lead to the top. It quickly left the baker’s dozen Brothers alone on the wired platform they were standing on. Hawke turned to his Brothers with a wolfish smile.

“And now to find the big dogs.”

This post encompasses an A-rank mission containing the following storyboard elements:
  • Meet with a major faction representative (4)

The big dogs of Takemikazuchi’s Anvil turned out to be difficult to find. The Brothers made their way farther down the central shaft in silence, stopping often to secure storeroom after storeroom, tunnel after tunnel. The pit was a solid structure, but circling around its belly felt like a slow merry-go-round of déjà vu. In the end it took them more than an hour to reach the very depths of the Anvil. It felt like much more however, to the point where finding the odd, terrified workman became a welcome break from the monotony. Despite this, Hawke could not help but marvel at the scale of the tunnel network. An hour afoot without reaching the bottom and the Brothers had barely left the beaten path.

“Whole nation could hide down here,” Ratgut had remarked and it had barely felt like an exaggeration.

This far down the pit it was too dark to see so the Brotherhood moved by torchlight. Hawke took them on the most direct path down they could find. Something was drawing him down there; a feeling he recognized. He knew instinctually that the Brothers had to stay behind for what was coming, so he ordered them to take stock of the place and prepare for what came next.

After all, Hawke thought to himself with a wry chuckle, working alone meant working stressed. Whoever was awaiting him at the bottom, their killing intent was too finely honed to be on a level where men like his Brothers were anything but in the way. They protested – some more than others – but none of them had any illusions about the gap between those who could wield chakra and those who could not.

Their dear leader hopped snappily between the floors for the rest of the way down and made the trip in less than a minute. It was reality’s way of hammering in that difference.

Without a light source of his own Hawke found himself reminiscing about the old Zatoichi masters he recalled from days of yore, but the hairs rising on the back of his neck snapped him out of his daydream.

“Who do you work for, brute?” The voice was gravelly, commanding. It belonged to someone used to getting their way.

“No one, unless you’re hiring,” was his offhand, though truthful response. For that he found himself with the tip of a traditional katana pointed at his chest, pricking him hard enough to be felt behind his breastplate.

“You should take this seriously,” the deep, but distinctly feminine voice advised from behind the unreadable face of her metal mempo, visible only as wobbly blob in the dark.

“’Course I am,” Hawke found the suggestion affronting. “But let’s cut the cliché crap, yeah?”

The Samurai drew back an inch and stabbed at him, but Hawke twisted his upper body so the blade only grazed him. The stab turned into a swift slash and again Hawke acted in time, catching the weapon in his own metal gauntlet, which held fast until felt his opponent infused her steel with chakra. He barely had time to roll away with a kick of his leg before the now blue katana buried itself half a foot deep in the thick metal floor.

“Little lady,” Garrett breathed, holding up a conciliatory hand to stop the onslaught. “I’m in a talking mood, see? I’m just a businessman coming to your door with an offer.”

“We don’t want it.”

“C’mon now, do you know who I-“

“We know who you are, Garrett Hawke.”

“Then you know my reput-“

“That sketch on your poster must be the worst one I’ve ever seen.”

The air went out of Hawke’s benevolent act at that, so he decided to switch gears.

“Well, you see the bounty-“

“Is a typo,” Samurai-Girl finished his sentence with such smugness that it out-thickened the tar-black darkness around them. “We asked the Association. It’s a point, not a comma.”

“Will you stop inter-“

“-rupting you?” the woman mocked.

“Look!” Hawke barked with finality and held up both his shovel-hands in a gesture that was equal parts mollifying and terrifying. “You obviously don’t care about the mismatch here, but I’ve been through this here song and dance before, alright? So if it’s all the same to you I’d like to just say my piece and get on with it.”

The woman held her tongue this time and Hawke breathed a quiet sigh of relief for that. The witty exchange of banter, or whatever everyone liked to call it, was just exhausting. Why even some respected warriors found it appealing was a complete mystery to him.

“Thank you,” he rumbled appreciatively for the silence. “You already know of me and you’re not impressed. That’s fine, but the fact that I’m here now means that the life you knew is over.”

Hawke allowed that to set in, but mask or no the woman seemed unaffected.

“Former enemies of yours might’ve said something like this before,” he continued. “But you’ll just have to take my word that this time it’s different. I’ve got plans with this here mine and you Samurai can either join the venture or-“

This time he was prepared for the deadly blue crescent the Samurai’s quick slash sent buzzing towards him. Another blur of motion and Hawke twirled around it, covering the distance between the two combatants in a flash as he appeared in front of his foe, right arm already cocked back for the punch. He only hit air however as the woman cleared ten feet in the blink of an eye, landing low on her feet and looking balefully over her shoulder at Hawke.

“You think the Samurai will simply bow-“

“That’s exactly what I think.” Hawke’s growling silenced her. “You can fight and you can die, or you can take me to whoever makes the decisions around here.”

“Why?” The question was bitingly cold. “You’re a mindless killer, the worst kind of garbage. Do you think we don’t know every detail of the psychotic temper tantrum you’ve been on? Treating with the likes of you would be the highest form of dishonor.” Her words had real venom behind them, as far as Hawke could tell. Not that it mattered. That was what was so difficult to convince the uninitiated of.

“I’m not gonna waste my time trying to impress you.” Hawke met her evenly, sounding more than a little resigned. “Set up a trap, isolate me, whatever. I’ll meet this General one way or another. The only question is how much of this place I sink into the Bay getting to him.” The grizzled veteran shrugged. “Do what you have to do, but I guarantee you’ll regret the way you die if you jerk me around in this fuckin’ hole.”

A silent moment turned into a minute before the woman cocked her head and nodded slowly. Wordlessly, she turned on her heels and waved for Garrett to follow.

“Oh thank the Gods that finally worked,” the giant man mumbled to himself before following along.

“Well, we won’t share our facilities with you, so your people will just have to go somewhere else.” Daya was huffing and puffing, a demeanor Hawke had become all too familiar with during the past couple of days.

“We’ll find a solution, yeah?” Garrett Inuzuka, as he had introduced himself to the new denizens in his charge, deflected with a shrug and then turned things around. “But we’re here to get production up, so until the metalworkers and the masons and the engineers and all the others arrive to fill out the tunnels we’ll just have to make do, won’t we?” He tried to keep his voice level, but much as it pained him to admit it the spunky little shit had really managed to get under his skin during their short tenure together. She picked up on the heat immediately, too.

“It will be a while that you’ll have to make do with camping in the tunnels, then.”

“Oh piss of, will you?” Hawke bit out, but managed to quickly collect himself before continuing. “We’ll get more workers soon and make arrangements in the meantime. You won’t want for ore, so just make sure the smelters keep up.”

The infuriating woman just put her hands on her hips in response, looking Hawke up and down in that patronizing way she always did. “What does that have to do with sharing baths and sleeping quarters?”

“Peripherally,” was all Hawke said before marching off without another word to find Misk. Although he would rather talk to himself, if he was honest, at least the Brother was a tolerable conversation partner. That and a faithful partner in crime.

Misk was with a few miners when Hawke found him, but he quickly waved them off when he saw his dear leader coming. “Brother Garrett,” he greeted with a toothy grin. “What can I do for ya?”

Hawke glanced around to make sure they were alone before he spoke. “Have anything new to report?”

Misk just shook his head. “Progress is slow. The girl’s green, but the men respect her wits.”

“And what about our more tangible offers?”

A nod, more spirited this time. “There’s some interest. I got one her of lieutenants talking last night. He says the men are wary, but they’ll do whatever it takes. There’s been fighting in the south pretty much since the Freehold fell, so they wanna turn the tables badly.”

“Then that’s how we settle in,” Hawke said with a nod that turned into an amused chuckle when a wordplay occurred to him. “By resettling someone else. We show the Samurais a victory and find fuel for the fire.”

“Daya’ll never lend us the men we need to transport such numbers.” He sounded skeptical and for good reason. Daya would indeed never do that. However.

“It’s fortunate that she’s so loyal to the Peninsula then, innit?” Hawke laid a heavy shovel-hand on Misk’s shoulder, ignoring the man’s little wince at the weight of it. “She’ll buck, but when push comes to shove she won’t turn it down. That girl wants me to fail almost as much as she wants the Samurai to succeed, and at least one of those things’ll happen.”

Misk just nodded, satisfied with the reasoning. “What about us?”

“Stay here, keep working,” Hawke’s instructions were simple. It was one of his most attractive characteristics as a leader of bad, but mostly simple men. “Make progress with the guards and the workers, and let our five surviving guests have a go at the tunnels, yeah?”

“Alright, boss.”

“I’ll leave you a scroll and an assistant. Someone to help with the digging,” Hawke assured him with a mischievous smirk.

“An assistant? Who?” But his question was answered when a shrill, insectile screech caught his attention. It came from deep within the tunnels.

“Just someone who’ll speed things up a little.”

  • (custom) Make all the necessary plans and arrangements for your Clan (2)

Red Fever, huh.

Hawke took to reading up on current events in the days after his talk with the new Shogun in town. That, in retrospect, should have been higher on his list of priorities. The fact that the world had suffered the worst disease outbreak in over a hundred years was fairly humbling. It rather dimmed the formerly bright light of his vision of an epic forced labor camp. The Nariyuki woman had blabbered on about darker forces at play, but to Hawke's mind the true tragedy was the workforce situation. Were all the powerful warriors of the continent really so busy fighting the war of good versus evil that they had forgotten about the men and women on the ground? Unthinkable. The thought steeled his determination to go the extra mile in making his vision a reality.

It did not take more than a few days for the first batch of prisoners from the newly-christened Inazuma to start to trickle in. The Brothers prepared for their arrival by, with the help of the regular miners, quartering off a series of rooms in one wing of the Pit for them to use. Hawke had big plans for them and they could not be allowed to mingle with the rest of the mine's inhabitant, not now or in the future. The mine's central structure and inner tunnels were well-developed already, so it was not difficult to find an isolated section to build on. With a few modifications the countless storage rooms that made up most of the depleted inner mine proper could be made into dormitories.

The Pit's potential for expansion was almost salivating. The political hurdles had been taken care of, labor was on its way, and they were sitting on mineral deposits that would last for decades. The one issue Hawke was still mulling was food. One thing a name change could not change was the fact that Inazuma was a desolate place. The Samurai used greenhouses and farmed underground, but those were long-term solutions that would not feed the growing numbers that Hawke envisioned for at least a year. The solution he came up with was visionary: take it from other people.

It was that vision that found him addressing two dozen new recruits from the dungeons of the nearby provinces of the Peninsula. They had been escorted here by wary Samurai guards whom Hawke had first bid a heartfelt thank you and then cordially requested that they **** off. The recruits themselves were a mixed bunch, Garrett found as he examined them with Dark Sister. Some of them had that hard look in their eyes that said they would be useful to the cause. As for the rest...

"Welcome to the Pit," Hawke greeted the men with a big grin. "Make yourselves comfortable, yeah? 'Cause it'll be your home from now and 'till the day you die." He began to pace on the small platform from which he spoke, the same platform where he had first addressed the Anvil not long ago. "Some of you've got the potential to sail with me and my boys, but it's the mines for the rest of you lot. Make no mistake, yeah? This is a business. If you pull your weight it'll be a good time, but try to skimp out on your dues and I'll have your hide."

One man had something to say about his new situation, which prompted an immediate on-site demonstration of what exactly Hawke meant by that. Afterwards there were no protests and those who did not make the cut went meekly into the mines escorted by Liu and Lau. All according to plan. The good thing about a prison with one exit was how few guards it needed; and food rations would be based on work effort, so Hawke felt confident about the sustainability of the firm's incentive structure. He addressed the ten remaining men more brusquely. They would have to prove their worth. There was no patience among the Brothers for halfheartedness.

"You'll join the crew on probation and we'll see, yeah? Do what I say and you'll have good days ahead. Impress me and they'll be great."

The biggest of the lot obviously took that as his cue as the freakishly large cueball took a step forward with a confident grin on his face. "Point 'de way, bossmang."

Good enough for Hawke. "Then suit up, boys. We're going sailing."

This post contains a B rank storyboard mission: Explore a dangerous site (3)

It was somewhere around half an hour after he stepped in the land of Takemikazuchi’s Anvil, that Barney noticed guards randomly walking around. They seemed to be samurai so Barney had to tread lightly. Although his intentions weren't ill, he couldn't know how they would perceive him. Perhaps it was sacred ground or under someone's strong command that required such a large amount of guards guarding something.

As he traversed silently and as inconspicuous as he could, the path became harder and harder, as well as the weather. The snowstorm started picking up and Barney loved it. For most, such weather conditions would be a death sentence, but for Barney it was a playground. Crossing through the snow, he figured he might try to find some footsteps and follow them to see where they lead, hoping to find what the guards were there for.

Unfortunately, fresh snow covered his own footsteps as well, thus although he couldn't rely on other's footsteps, the guards couldn't follow his neither. It was a blessing in disguise. "So the samurai governed this land, so it seems. That would mean they were behind the noticeboard advert as well. I'm wondering what's going on over there?", Barney thought to himself, as a guard snuck up on him, smacking him with the hilt of his katana. Instead of tumbling on the ground unconscious, Barney instinctively grabbed the back of his head and turned around.

What the ****?

The guard swung his katana as Barney was turning around and he had to simultaneously jump back a few feet, barely avoiding the insanely sharp tip. He could already see the foggy and cold air splitting in half by the sword.

HEY! HEY! HOLD UP! He shouted, swinging his hands forward as if begging for mercy, trying to calm the guard down. It seemed that it worked.

Okay, thank ****. He grabbed his knees to take a breath as this gave him a proper scare. The adrenaline rushed through his body activating the sympathetic fight or flight reaction, making the slow breathing infinitely harder.

State your business or perish, trespasser. With a deep voice, proclaimed the guard.

Give me a moment here, would'ya? I'm sorry for trespassing. I wasn't aware I was doing anything illegal. I'm simply a traveler.

A simple traveler this close to the Pit? How cute. What's the real reason you're here? "Pit? Interesting, please continue!", thought Barney.

Alright, I'm sorry. Let's try this again. I saw the advert looking for workforce so I thought it would be a good opportunity to make some money.

Then why didn't you follow the main road like all the other folks, instead of sneaking around?

That's a good question. I wasn't aware there was a main road. And, if I may ask of course, where exactly does this road lead to? What's the job anyway.

Mining. It's leading to the Pits. And that's a lot of 'didn't knows' you've got there.

Oohh. And how are the working conditions? Lunch breaks? 8 hour shifts? Free weekends? Free holidays for family and friends? How are the owners? Who's the owner anyway?

Ha ha. Look at you smartass. I swear to God I'll strike you down with this blade.

Alright. Alright. I'll let you be. But under one condition.

The guard nodded his head im disbelief and most likely raised an eyebrow under his mask. Barney couldn't tell buthe could feel it.

Let me meet with the owner and have a formal job interview.

Can't do that. Hawke is not here.

At the mention of Hawke, Barney barely managed to hold a poker face, trying to contain his excitement. His journey across the bay wasn't fruitless. He managed to trace Hawke's steps and almost catch up with him. "So Hawke was getting into mining? Looking for workforce? What did the advert say? Homeless and tempest-tossed, poor and tired. He's trying to become an entrepreneur, I see."', Barney figured.

Alright I'll see myself out of your hair if you can tell me where he went.

Barney barely managed to avoid the swing of the guards sword yet again, although this time he was prepared. He knew was pushing the limits. But he had to know, he was so close.

Scram, rat. Just go before I strike you.

Where is he, tell me? Please!

Last I heard he went looking for more workforce and food across the bay. Sylhet I believe. Now leave. This is your last warning before I call the other guards.

Thanks, duly noted. There won't be no need for that.

Barney decided to make his way back. He was in Sylhet not so long ago, though. They must've crossed paths without bumping into each other. What a shame. It could've saved him almost dying twice to the sharp blade of a samurai. However, this time Barney decided to take the less scenic route back and traverse the sea that laid itself in between Takemikazuchi’s Anvil and Sylhet.

Upon her arrival to the anvil, Mirabelle’s confident stride into the landmark only ushered a sudden air of arrogance. She was certain, the region of Inuzuma will raise. It was…however there was whispers in her mind once more. She would grip her temple, a brewing headache occurring. She heard different words infiltrating into her head. “What is this rambling…” she thought, the others near here noticing the Shogun in distress. “Lady Nariyuki, are you ok?” one of the samurai asked, but he too would grip his head – noting the ramblings in his mind. Soon after, everyone present would be suffering from the same headache, though as she opened, he eyes, she noticed a piece of paper on the floor. “What the…” she leaned over, trying to read the paper. Soon the voices faded, leaving her somewhat perplexed about what had happened. “My lady?” one of the Samurai approached, but she waved in return. “I’m fine…” she thought for a moment, as she looked into the direction of Tobusekai. “Something’s wrong…” she thought for a moment, it was whispers like beforehand, but she noticed something on the paper before her. She would hum underneath her tone, tapping her finger. “I need to go…” she thought, but before she did – she would proceed to make a set of quick hand seals, then grabbing a kunai and infusing her Yang energy into it. As she breathed life into it, the creation would take the form of one of Mirabelle’s newly established Daemons. “Ahh it’s so nice to be given life again. Such a beautiful environment might I add I..” before Alastor can continue, Mirabelle lifted her finger to her lip. “Speak not, Alastor…” she said.

The demon familiar of hers would smirk, as his never-ending grin didn’t fade. “
Leaving so soon, Belle? Somewhere has your interest more than your own kingdom?” he questioned his master’s motives. “Yes, that’s why I’m trusting you, my fateful familiar to do my works for me. Of course, I’ve managed to be able to imprint your memories now, so don’t have to worry about “dying”” she slyly said to her familiar as she started to walk away. “Alastor here will be my ambassador, he’s will is my own. I will be back…something requires my attention elsewhere but I’ll be back promptly. I promise” she said, as the Samurai saluted, Baiken understanding. As such, she turned to the port as she set onto a boat, heading out into the seas. Inuzuma is in the hands of her familiar, but with it having her memories as well, he would know how to continue in preparations of the nation. “Now then! While the demon spawning Belle is away…lets turn this place into a lively project! BAHAHAHA!” the eccentric demon familiar would say.

(Yoton: Nikkou Netsuzou ) Yang Release: Sunlight Forger

Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 50
Damage: N/A
Description: Derived from “Yang Release: Change Into Hell”, this technique borrows the base principles. After weaving three hand seals, the user through either physical contact with an object or through a wave of Yang energy will grant selective an object life. However, what causes this to differ from is its ability to strictly only affect inanimate/non-sentient objects devoid of chakra. This is includes but not limited to, flora, tools, etc. Once the yang energy is infused into the object in question, the user can apply a form of manipulation to its structure alongside the use of the transformation technique. This can allow them to grant the inanimate object a humanoid body of average size. The user can also have the object in question take other forms such a tree becoming a wooden dragon or water becoming steaming hot blob. The appearance while mostly cosmetics can also rule possibilities of anatomy uses like having wings will grant them the ability to fly etc. In terms of inherent abilities, each familiar born is gifted 300 chakra points/80 HP, full human-level sentience which includes articulation, an elemental affinity (Non-Yang Specialist Can only assign one of the basic natures whereas Yang Specialists can grant AE or CEs). In the case of AE and CEs, they cannot however use the sub-elements. They move at the user's base speed but have x1.5 natural tracking. This technique can be used twice per battle, requiring a cooldown of two turns after usage and prevents the use of Yang Release above and including A Rank for two turns. The familiar shall remain in play until its chakra naturally runs out, has taken too much damage which in those cases reverts back to its normal form prior or if the user doesn’t have chakra to further sustain its body. The ranged chakra wave version can only be applied to one object, though it cannot work on anything within the opponent's person such as clothing, weapons, etc unless they remove it themselves such as thrown weapons. It doesn’t affect sentient weapons as well and indestructible custom weapons. The ranged variant cannot influence anything within short range of the enemy.
(Fūinjutsu: Kakei Rinku) Sealing Technique: Kindred Link (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: Kindred Link is a unique technique that’s purpose is initially derived from Mirabelle’s desire to preserve the memories and emotions of her creations. These creations are normally crafted from her use of her “Yang Release: Sunlight Forger” technique. Utilizing a similar method to how Kushina and Minato sealed imprints of themselves within Naruto, it’s relatively the same for these familiars. As they are given life; the seal is passively branded onto the familiars’ body. Once the familiar is defeated or dismissed willingly – the seal automatically triggers, sealing all the memories, emotions and experiences that the creation has gone through. It is then stored into the user’s own memories as well. This allows them to then access these experiences themselves – due to the creations being byproducts of their own chakra therefore are also simply extensions of their own will to an extent. All applications of this seal are purely aesthetic, though some use of this such as for recon missions to gain information without actually being present is possible. Once the seal is reapplied to a familiar once again, they will regain the memories once more and thus can continuously add onto the experience, thus having a pseudo form of immortality so to speak. Can only be used by Mirai, with all applications being passively done. Requires Advance Fuinjutsu in order to be utilized. Can have up to three creation's/familiar's memories stored and must be mentioned in bio

LLM, leaving Alastor behind.

Coming from Aisu Bay.
This post encompasses a B-rank mission containing the following storyboard elements:
  • Negotiate for or speak on behalf of your clan (3)
  • Stomp out protest and/or dissent (3)
  • Make all the necessary plans and arrangements for your Clan (4)

Their detour to Sylhet had taken a few more days than Hawke would have liked, but the Brothers who had remained in the Pit knew what was expected of them. They had done well while their brethren were off on the raid. In that time the old workers of the Anvil had been hired to school their replacements in the art of mineral extraction and, though many had refused on moral grounds, some had stayed behind. Under the watchful eyes of Liu and Lau those men became the first Overseers of the mine and in the span of just a week had begun to organize the workforce. Morat, the old miners’ de-facto spokesman, saw no issue with adding more hands. As he explained it; the workers who knew the trade would teach the others. Let a few Overseer patrol the tunnels and the chance of major mishaps was negligible.

During their absence shipments of prisoners from the lands of that Nariyuki woman had started to stream in. When added to the prisoners that had arrived from the Peninsula, as well as their own contributions, that put the number of workers up to almost six hundred. Hawke had taken his pick if the prisoners first, adding another thirty men to the new batch of Brothers that would keep the miners under control. That meant fifty-some Brothers would be watching over six hundred, a feat only made possible because of the layout of the Pit itself. The deep mine shaft had only a few access points, all easy to seal off permanently. This left a wooden platform operated by a pulley system as the only way in or out of the Pit. The Brothers constructed small stations around it on both ends and that was that.

One of the advantages of opening a mine in a mine was that there was no need to procure new equipment. The miners knew how to work the equipment, but Morat was an old rat in the game and had more than a few suggestions for improvements. Luckily, as per the deal with Inazuma’s new Shogun, a number of technical experts had also trickled in to offer their services. Hawke offered them what he called a ‘metric fuckton of money’ to shut up and buckle up. Morat was not the only man in the firm with ideas, after all. The Brotherhood would build what could be built and buy what could not.

The simple wooden stations around the pulley would have to be completely remade at some point, as would the platform and the pulley itself. Walls would need to be constructed to make them inaccessible to the workers. There was so much that needed to be done. In the longer run Hawke envisioned a metal dome at the top of the pit that could be opened and closed at will. He floated the idea with his engineers who rushed to assure him that it was possible. Morat, ever the realist, called it a waste and wanted to focus on constructing gates in the tunnels instead. The compromise they came up with was to do both.

The Pit’s flyer campaign had been less successful, no doubt influenced by the hostile geography of the mine’s surroundings. Still, a few desperate souls made the trek and were promptly enlisted. One of them, decidedly less desperate than her counterparts, was an old Lava-user from the Badlands by the name of Yuiska. She had seen through the charade and wanted a job, which Hawke was more than happy to give her. With her abilities she could reinforce tunnels in her sleep, which was just as well since the old crone seemed to have an ongoing love-affair with mister sandman. She slept most of the time and was a cranky which for the rest of it: an instant hit with the Brothers.

Over the span of a few days the beginning of the Pit seemed to come together. Active mining tunnels were gated and guarded, with the workers’ dormitories only connected to their workplace and sealed off from everything else. The Brothers divided the workforce into groups of fifty and spread them out far away from each other to work on iron, nickel, tin, copper and coal deposits. The new Overseers patrolled the tunnels and coordinated the work, while the engineers and the Brothers worked on the stations. Food and water was transported out in wagons and escorted by Yuiska, who was the only one able to open and reseal the walls separating the workers’ tunnels from the rest of the Pit.

The workers themselves had found it difficult to settle into their new lives. Disorganized at first they were simply unreceptive to training, but when a few leader figures emerged their hesitance turned to hostility, which of course warranted some sanctions. Three chief rabble-rousers were promptly plucked out of the flock, flayed, and then kept alive and on display on a rotating schedule across the twelve tunnels. The acoustics of the mine carried their screams everywhere. Everyone did what they were told after that. Morat and his miners had expressed some moral concerns about the affair, but a few greased palms calmed their nerves.

All these factors did for a very happy Hawke make. One of the downsides, however, was that while having fifty men watching six hundred was doable, not many could be spared for worker stockpile replenishment excursions. To scale up the Brotherhood needed more recruits, so Garrett came up with a plan. They were not the only people running a profitable mining enterprise, after all.

Leaving for LM 126.

After a bit of travel, hopping only a small handful of regional borders, Chise and Ruth had finally arrived at the designated location that she was given by Mirabelle back in Tsumigakure. She was meant to meet someone here, though she hadn't been given many details beyond a simple name, that of "Alastor." She had considered her options for how to go about finding this individual, yet she opted for the simplest route, albeit potentially not the most efficient one. She had never been to this particular edge of the continent, despite having spent so much time here in recent memory. Chise began to move deeper into the Takemikazuchi's Anvil, working her way around as she took in the sights of the environment, hoping to spot something that gave her a hint of where she needed to go in order to end up where she was meant to, all while at the same time giving her the opportunity to learn the layout of things.

As Chise started to move throughout the landscape, whispers and murmurs of a foreign presence had reached the ears of the Samurai whom formerly ruled over these lands. This word quickly reached the ears of the demon familiar himself, as the red-haired monstrosity with his everlasting grin would have started to make ways from the center of the residence and over to where the red-haired lady was rumored to be. As he scurried a long in a haste, Alastor quickly found himself a duet of a human and canine. “Well, if it isn’t the beautiful step child of fate” the demon familiar announced, his voice static and resembling an old school radio announcer. “Welcome, Chise and Ruth! It’s a pleasure having such wonderful audience here today with us, don’t you agree my bladed warriors?” he turned to the samurai looming behind him. They scuffed, how can an abomination like him be so cheery and jubilant? Alastor extended his hand and grabbed Chise by the wrist, as he started to drag her to the center. “Come come, we have much planning to do! I’m sure you have many questions for me, but do not worry…I have plans for this bright country and it’s inhabitants, all in the name of my master, Mirabelle” he announced with pride as his wolfish grin never faded. It was only a matter of time till she might have to learn grim reminder of the world they live in at the moment.

Chise's gaze turned if but only a moment in time to match the otherwise "unnatural" smile that had almost instantly fallen right in front of her. While most would otherwise be put off or startled, Chise seemed relatively unmoved. All her life she was exposed to unnatural and unpleasant things that were similar or worse, yet especially now that this "person" seemed to know who she was. "Ah.. uhm, hello. It's a pleasur-- Ah..!" Before she could finish her own response, she had felt the vine-like fingers clutch around her wrist and begin to guide her further into the domain that she had only recently appeared within. In any other circumstance, this sort of thing would incite a feral, protective reaction from Ruth, yet instead, Chise instead warped her arm into something akin to wood and roots; the amalgamation of an unnatural form of what once was her arm suddenly slithering and contorting before finally slipping her own arm away from the vice grip of the being after only a few steps, allowing her to stop in place and stare at Them as her arm gradually rubberbanded back into its natural shape and form once again. Flexing her fingers lightly as if to become accustomed to the sensation of her standard joints once more, she fixed her emerald gaze upon her guide. "I'm guessing that you are Alastor. I've heard about you from Mira-nee. With all due respect, I will be more than capable of following of my own accord.. So please, let's walk and talk without unnecessary "guidance," and I'll be glad to help however I can. Deal?"

Alastor’s gaze never once left sight of the woman. She was feisty, he’ll give her that for sure. Her arm twisted and contorted into a very unusual form. The undying smile of the demon familiar never faded, as he laughed. “Oh sweet Chise, haven’t you heard? You never make deals with demons…” his voice faded, into a very darkened and twisted tone, as flames start to surge from his body. However quickly as it came, it faded, as he turned on his heel and marched into the direction of the main location. “Right, now then, we shall continue with the project Belle had tasked me with finishing. This is only one of few landmarks left, but its seems the person in charge here is a rather…stubborn to put lightly. I tried not to use force, but it seems that he left me no choice…until you came along. So perhaps you can speak to them, as my next choice of action had…rather dire consequences…” his smile alluded to what Alastor knows best. Chaos. As he walked to the central location of the anvil, he would have stepped aside, allowing Chise to enter.

Alastor…”Baiken greeted the samurai lady, one of which was an ally of Mirabelle’s. “Ah yes, Baiken. This here is Chise, Belle’s wonderous little sister. Please, introduce her to the leader of this Anvil, perhaps he might listen to reason with this youngster” he called out to her. “Well, if we cant convince him, well…we know what has to be done…” Baiken said, as Alastor shrugged at the thought, smiling as ever. As Chise is allowed into the war meeting room, there sat a clearly older man, dressed in traditional samurai garb, a naginata in hand. “Who the hell are you?” he said in a tough tone.

This message marks the beginning of my mission containing the following storyboard elements:

  • Take responsibility for the actions of your Clan and/or its members (A-rank)
  • Investigate the history of a landmark (B-rank)
Summary: As Chise makes her arrival in the land of Takemikazuchi, she is brought face-to-face with who she is lead to believe is a Samurai lord. Though tensions are considerable, she opts to take her chances at requesting a parley with the Daimyo, in hopes of furthering her understanding of the situation surrounding her.

Ruth and Chise alike shared a look after the odd individual began to saunter off as if in a means to guide them to their destination the rest of the way. Their choice of words were relatively perplexing, yet she wasn't exactly a stranger to this sort of behavior; least of all knowing why she was here and what their purpose was here as well. After a brief moment, the pair began to follow at the tailcoat of Alastor, trusting that he would guide them properly to the place they were meant to be. Chise listened carefully to what he said, taking into consideration the probable history that had transpired before she arrived, all the while taking in the air and demeanor of those around the vicinity of them. "High tensions" would have been a gross understatement, yet her suspicions were reaffirmed: The majority of them were merely villagers; merchants, smiths

and of course miners, all merely serving a purpose in a cause they were born into, or grew to appreciate as their own. She knew more than before the importance of her position here, and had every intention to see it through as well as she could..

Upon arrival to their destination, Chise eyed the woman that the slanky being addressed as Baiken. It was odd to her, seeing all of these names and faces of people that held positions within the village she was apart of as well, or in "some" cases, with Mirabelle herself. It just went to show how wide spread their ranks were, how important it was for her to experience more of the world.. She needed to know who she was working with; for both her own benefit and the benefit that were to have to work with her as well. She didn't want them to see her as "Mirabelle's necessary burden." Perhaps Mirabelle did not view her that way, but she knew full well that some saw her as "just another child." Whether that was true or not, she meant to correct it.

As soon as the entrance of the war room was opened, Chise idled a moment in the entryway. A soft yet deep, steadying inhale drew into her as she carefully stepped forward and took her place at the tail-end of whatever table surface would likely be centered in the middle of the room, serving as either a personal desk or a collective center for whatever council would gather at it at necessary times, it made no difference. In an instant, the intensity of the situation was immediately apparent after the sharp and gruff tone of the Samurai sprung out at her. Her jaw tightened a moment, yet found relief after she exhaled the breath she was holding. Half of her tension was in not knowing what to expect, or how to approach the situation first. Now that the veil was lifted, she at least had an idea of where she needed to start..

In one steady motion, Chise slowly lowered herself upon her knees, resting her backside upon her calves with her back straight, tucking her hands over top of her thighs, fingers pointed inwards toward one another before she carefully bowed her head forward, the proper formal posture that came when addressing someone of authority with humility and respect, ensuring her gaze remained averted until she was addressed again. "Pardon my intrusion, Takemikazuchi-tono.. My name is Chise Hatori of Tsumigakure. I have come with fortified resolve to steer a path of resolution in your lands on behalf of my village. It is my hope that you might give me the chance to prove my sincerity in this, at your own judgement, rather than merely taking my word for it."

The samurai general would have snared at the edge of his mouth. The sheer sound of 'Tsumigakure' didn’t exactly stir appropriately in the mind of the geezer. “Don’t you think it’s a bit unfair that your leader isn’t here to represent herself and the nation? Not only that, but she sent a child of people to represent…I don’t know if to believe Mirabelle is a fool or just overly optimistic” the samurai said. Baiken would have stepped out from behind Chise, hand on her hip as she lingered at the season samurai. “Listen, don’t get up in your feelings just cause this youngster can beat you in a fight, considering how much of a retired old dog of war you are. They aren’t here to cause any trouble, yet you’re treating them like...” she tried to finish but she was interrupted by the sudden feeling of killing intent pouring out from the general. “Watch you’re tongue, Baiken. Have you forgotten who took your arm?” the man warned her and reminded her as to what he once did to her for acting out some years ago. The general would turn to Chise, and allowed a sigh to escape his mouth. “Make your case child, I don’t have all day…” he said, waving at one of his attendants to grab him and his guests some tea.

Perhaps I should intervene as well, for you see I can’t simply idly stand here and allow you to speak ill of my master…so I’d be careful what you say…wise old man…” Alastor said, as flames came from his hand. “Try me, byproduct” he spat back, but before something can be done, Baiken once again stopped it. “Listen, can we just chill out for five minutes and get this treaty underway?” she suggested. “Hmm…fair enough” Alastor agreed, shrugging with a wide smile. He wanted to murder the man in front of him, but he was instructed to be ‘nice’ for the time being. It was really on Chise’s shoulders to make this happen…
