You can see the Hogyoku floating in his chest. Gin will probably grab it or flick it out, nullifying Aizen's transformation.

I wish with all my heart that Aizen is dead here, simply because Gin is 1000 times more interesting than him as a character. But if Aizen dies here, what the hell is the purpose of Ichigo unlocking the final getsuga tensho?

Sadly, I doubt Aizen is dead. And Gin will likely be killed. Theres no way Kubo can make this situation good. Either Gin becomes the final villain my merging with the Hogyoku. Which would be bad because Gin doesn't have a purpose in his actions. As he said before, hes a snake looking for prey to kill. He has no ultimate plans, which is what makes him so interesting, but its also what keeps him from being a good final villain.
