Chapter 1

I was sitting in a dark corner of my room, all alone in an old house that wasn't really mine. Here, the villagers didn't paid attention to me or at least look at me. They say that I was a monster because I have the power which everytime I sing, they all get hurt just by hearing it. Because of that, they locked me up in this old house for 7 years already. I hate them. I hate ALL OF THEM. I'll never forgive them for what they did to me. Never!

I'm already 15 and still locked up in this house. My energy is slowly decreasing and I think my body couldn't take it any longer for no food for a week. This is the end for me, I guess, without even taking revenge for what the Hidden Sound had done to me. As I slowly stagger from hunger, a blast bursted from the outside of the house to my room. Even if I startle now, it won't be neccesary since I'm gonna die anyway. My vision became blurry and I could see a boy coming out of the blast. I couldn't hear his voice but I heard him say in an energetic voice "I'm gonna save you!!" and then I closed my eyes, letting the darkness engulf me.

Chapter 2


A light gave warmth to my face and soon, I found myself inside a hospital, lying on a bed with a thing stuck on my arm.Why I'm I still alive? I should be dead now, I thought to myself. Sitting on the bed, I glanced around the room and a noise suddenly broke in the silence.
"Hey, sensei! Can I see her now?" an energetic boy's voice asked. I knew that voice. He was the one who ran into the house and said that he would save me. He really did saved me. I never thought anyone would.
" Yeah. Go ahead." another guy's voiced said with a sigh.
The curtain opened and I saw a boy with a spiky blond hair coming in, suprised that I'm already awake. With him is a man with gray hair and a mask covering half his face. " You're already awake!!" the spiky haired boy hollered in relief.
The man next to him suddenly hit him on the head. " Be quiet, Naruto! We're in a hospital." he said in a low voice, annoyed.
So, he is Naruto. The one who saved me back there. But, he's from the Hidden Leaf Village, judging from his forehead-protector. Why would he save someone who is from the Hidden Sound Village. As far as I know, the two villages are not in any good terms.
Naruto scratched the back of his head." Sorry, sensei." he apologized and went closer to me. " Hi, there! I'm Naruto Uzumaki! Nice to meet you, Takara." he greeted with a smirk on his face.
I didn't reply back and gave them a glare. I don't like outsiders or even talking to them. But, anyway, how did he know my name? From the villagers, I suppose.
Naruto gave another smirk. " Don't worry, Takara. I want to be your friend. I don't want you to be alone in that house anymore."
Why? Suddenly , I feel like I should say something to him. His presence was warm, much warmer than the sun's. I looked down and murmured "Thank...you.." with my face all red.
