Saiken roflstomps these n00bs. In all seriousness, Saiken's acid is very dangerous, perhaps the most malicious passive ability of the tailed beasts. For one, even if Sasuke gets an amaterasu off, Saiken has time to fire off a bijuu bomb which will annihilate anyone in the radius. Also, physical contact, which half of the group's skills are primarily focused around, are made useless by the corrosive acid. Suigetsu will probably be corroded by the alkaline substance if he tries to pull the same thing he did with Gyuki.

If they actually fight him in Bijuu Mode they lose. If they fight canon Utakata who can't control his Bijuu well enough to enter a perfect BM Taka takes him in.

Depends on how the fight plays out, but Amaterasu easily subdued the Hachibi, so there's honestly no reason why it wouldn't subdue Saiken as well.

Most likely it will all fall down to who's technique kills the fastest. Amaterasu is slower and more painful, while bijuu bomb is a quick and near instant death. Don't get me wrong, it takes time to charge, but only a few seconds at that.

The bomb would already be charging by the team amaterasu is launched. It isn't instant, as it does take time for the flames to spread and I don't think that Sasuke would start off with amaterasu. Mindset is important as well, remember when he underestimated B? He also overestimated his older brother at this point in time too. Not the best position to be at when fighting an acid spitting chakra demon.

After all, Enton was literally Sasuke's course of action when he was able to land a direct hit on the Juubi. Seems to me that Sasuke learned his lesson.

Well in my OP, Sasuke goes after the Saiken INSTEAD of the Hachibi. So Amaterasu would probably not be his first course of action. So basically, can the Saiken kill him before he uses amaterasu? Does amaterasu even kill/subdue?
