That looks pretty easy, yet effective.
Itachi listened to the detailed description of his sensei, before analyzing the technique and then performing it.
Rank: B
Type: Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: With this jutsu, the user is able to intercept and counter an oncoming taijutsu technique by raising the knee, and driving the elbow downwards at the same time. This catches the attacking limb between his two limbs, and drives the elbow down with great force, effectively shattering the bone.
Advantages:
1. A ready made defensive tech against most of the freeform taijutsu moves and many simple yet powerful basic taijutsu techs.
2. I not only defend but also break bone of the opponent in the process and hence I can then target a kick or attack at the broken bone harming him more.
Disadvantages:
1. Doesn't carry any damage points, as it doesn't contain any move to attack your opponent.
2. Can't be used to block myself against aerial attacks and complex taijutsu moves, especially those which uses limbs which can't be caught in my knee.
Counter:
1. I can target the knee in my first attack before going for organ or vital point which is within the reach of my opponent's that knee. So as to make this move impossible to perform.
2. Avoiding the strike due to elbow is another effective way, especially if opponent catches me off-guard at that moment, I can use simple short range katon or fuuton attacks to send him a bit away and hence avoiding the strike which can break my bone.
Demonstration:
Itachi moves back at his origin position as he sees clone of Priest running towards him. Clone, upon reaching goes for a simple kick directed at stomach of Itachi, it was curve type kick directed at the stomach and hence Itachi quickly determines the path of the kick in his mind to determine when to raise the knee. When leg is at the suitable distance from the body, Itachi raises his leg to catch the kicking knee and then without wasting a moment delivers a powerful elbow strike crushing the bone.
Combination:
Itachi decides to combine it with a offensive move to cause greater damage in this case. Again he sees clone of Priest running towards him, again Itachi reacts swiftly when clone's kick is at the predetermined distance from him, catches the knee using his own knee and then delivers a powerful elbow strike via right/dominant hand to break the bone between knee and toe, by striking at exact midway between toe. As he sees clone crying in pain, without showing any feel of remorse whatsoever, he kneads his fire chakra and then sends a stronger yet shorter fireball directed at the exact position where he delivered a powerful damage before.
As a result clone gets some burns near that portion and disappears in the agony.
