Ok let me start. Gai has a 5 in stamina while Tsunade has a 4. Gai has 5 speed while Tsunade has 3.5. So he's already faster and will win a prolonged fight in Taijutsu based on the databook. Inb4 Tsunade improved since then argument that every Tsunade fan chooses to use, well improving is not exclusive to Tsunade.

Man, a C-rank Taijutsu move. Impressive. This surely surpasses that of a Taijutsu master. And surely provides concrete proof as to why base Tsunade defeats base Gai in a pure taijutsu fight.

First off Tsunade was stated to be many times rusty during the part 1 fight. Like 3 times at least.

So? Chakra=spiritual energy+physical energy. Spiritual energy=experience, physical energy=exercise. Her technique was rusty, her fighting skill was rusty, but her actual traits weren't that different, nothing close to warranting a stamina comparable to Gai's. Her experience was unchanged as well. So regardless of what she did after that, she isn't close to Gai's stamina, who is consistently increasing his stamina through both experience AND hard work.
And? How exactly would her hand seals and stamina have been obtained by that fight alone? She showed no hand signs worthy of a 4, nor any stamina feats. lolwat, Kishi is clearly stating her stamina from what he wants her stamina to be, not from what she has shown in her Sannin fight.
Ranks are only the difficulty to learn a technique, nothing to do with the ability itself. Not that such a slow kick would ever make contact with Gai in the first place.

Didn't know that was the basis to my argumentation as to why Gai>Tsunade in pure taijutsu - which was manga feats and databook statements. Not a single taijutsu move that accomplishes and proves absolutely nothing.

:lol like what does Tsunade even have besides slow punches and kicks? Sure they got power behind them, but someone like Gai dodges them with little to no difficulty. Not sure if nonchuks are considered Taijutsu. That makes it a stomp.

Gai probably wins the first scene if Tsunade isn't allowed to regen, the second scenario is about as fair and balanced as Fox.
Tsuande shits. She let's Gai hit her and rips his leg off, unless someone thinks Gai can throw a punch/kick and pull it back at the same time, which is physically impossible. He has to make contact with her to land his own hits and when he does its over.

Wonder why Shizune couldn't dodge it.. despite Tsunade stand couple of meters away.

Nope, she can easily hit pressure points leading to slowness in Gai's movements. Gonna need legit feats of him even having "awesome" taijutsu in his base that Tsunade can't take.
