Read this before we begin please. This covers all the basics so I will not be asking you many questions. Everything general that I would teach you is detailed in that post. So this training will be more specific. It will be more thought oriented rather than just learning techniques one after the other. I will then go into deeper detail after I felt you have understood what I meant in that post.

Bell-kun takes the incredibly long scroll from Crutch Kaguya-sensei and begins to read it.

"Wow Sensei! It took me a long time to read it, but it was so well explained that even though it was long I didn't really get confused anywhere. I'll be sure to go back to it in the future if I ever need to refresh on Taijutsu. I thought Taijutsu was only using the techniques but you really showed me that there is much more you can do even with using the techniques with "free form" as you called you. Sensei I have a question, if you can do so much with free form then why do you even need to use the techniques? I saw that in the ending part of your explanation that "pre-preared Taijutsu" as you called it can just be broken down into those individual motions. So can I just used "free form" instead of those techniques?"

That's a good question. I will list the reasons why you should use a technique below:

1. A technique can only be responded against with a technique. For example, if your opponent releases a lightning spear toward you, logically you can side-step it to escape, but you cannot. It is against the rules. Now lets say there is a taijutsu technique that is not exactly side-stepping by has something incorporated in it that lets you avoid it, you can use that technique in response. For example, you can use Drunken Fist to say you fall over to the side which causes the lightning spear to miss you. In this opportunity, using the jutsu which takes one of your three moves per turn was useful because you could use it to respond to your opponent. You cannot just say you move to the side.
2. You have a lot of freedom even with the pre-prepared techniques. For example, say there is a technique that lets you punch your opponent. You can then spice it up so that you can punch your opponent in many different ways. Essentially this is tacking onto the previous point, you don't need to do exactly what the technique says. You can improvise with the limits of logic (which is a main point of my thread). Whenever you want to attack the opponent and make them use a move, use a technique for the list, when you are just setting up or trying to push them toward a specific action, just use free form.
3. Those techniques on the list do damage. As listed on the techniques themselves. Free form actions do not represent any damage value. Lets say your opponent releases a rock toward you that does 20 damage (this is a technique), you cannot just punch the rock away. But you can use a taijutsu technique that does 20 damage to punch it away.

All in all, the reason to use techniques are really petty and are built on fighting within the rules. But don't ever fall for using a taijutsu technique exactly as it is described in the jutsu list. Feel free to use the damage resulting from the technique and certain boosts or properties built into the technique to enhance something you were doing to do with free form.

Okay, if that is the last of the questions. Look through the thread I link you to again, look at all the various types of motions that I outlined. I want you to look through the taijutsu from D-A rank and list all the ones that fall into each specific category. If it is a combination, list it under a category called combination.

Bell-kun looks at the scroll given to him by Crutch Kaguya-sensei and then looks at the scroll of Taijutsu techniques. Bell-kun analyzes the scrolls to figure in which category each Taijutsu technique should fit into. After he finished, he hands the scroll where he listed all the techniques to his Sensei.

"Is this good Sensei?"

Seeing through the movements is said to be a Herculean task. The density of the chakra is so high it becomes visible. It not only raises the power of the weapon, but simultaneously turns oneself into a blade as well. Note: Can only be used by Taijutsu specialists or EIG users

( Konoha Ryūjin ) - Leaf Dragon God
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A-rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description:
This is an ultimate taijutsu technique created by the legendary taijutsu master Chen. It appears to be initiated by an upward spin kick at which point it quickly becomes like tornado. Forming into a dragon with long whiskers, it attacks the target aiming to swallow them, at which point they are cut by the razor sharp air currents inside the attack. After initiating the attack, the user appears to remain shielded within the base of the tornado as the outward surface of the dragon seems to be solid enough for a person to impact and rebound off of, making the only way to enter the technique once it has been initiated is by being swallowed. However, there is one distinct weakness to the technique. Since the Dragon God's real form (and what it basically is) is that of an ordinary tornado, though cosmetically shaped into a dragon, its attack power is based on rotation. If one enters the attack's centre (Dragon's Eye) while rotating at high speed, such as Lee's One-Man Front Lotus, it can be dispersed without inflicting damage. The technique, while seemingly similar to Wind Release, is actually just the users own physical power (through the use of the spinning kick) shaping the air into currents through movement. It is, however, enough to fight off elemental ninjutsu of the same rank and below.
Note: Can only be used by Taijutsu Specialists and EIG users

(Rīfu Oshitsubusu Bōfū) Leaf Crushing Storm
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 60
Description: The user strikes the enemy with a powerful knee to the stomach, causing them to double over and he finishes with a strong elbow from the alternating arm to the back of the head. If successful, it will render the target unconscious for 2 turns.

I think some of those techniques could fit into the combination categories but nonetheless you understood the general categories that those taijutsu techniques fall into. Good, you did well. From now on out, it will be sort of a discussion more than me just telling you things. I don't require you to give me long replies to each of my questions and feel free to ask questions if you really need to.

The first thing I want you to do is pick out the "best technique" in each of those categories excluding combinations. After that tell me is there actually any need for so many taijutsu techniques?

"I don't think there is a need for all these techniques Sensei. When I was going through them to find out which one was the best, it turned out that many of them were really the same. So I could take your advice and use one technique that is higher rank and damage power, since you said that damage power was one of the main reasons to use these techniques, and do the same thing as I could with another one that is lower ranked. I can adapt the higher rank and more damage power technique into something that I want to do. So even if I only have one technique, I can use the free form you talked about in your post and make any Taijutsu technique into a free form. This way I can use free form to block against other techniques since you said a technique has to be blocked with another technique. I think even without using every single technique that is in that list, you can still do a lot."

That's more or less right. I gave you the answer in one of my previous posts so I was just making sure to see if you were paying attention. Anyway, next tell me in that case why there are so many techniques.

Remember, keep it discussion oriented. A few sentences will suffice if you get to the point.

"I think there are so many techniques because they were all used in the anime. The characters in the anime may use different versions of the same motions such as Naruto Barrage and Lion's Barrage. Both are the same because one was made with the other in mind, but Naruto Barrage was made to highlight Naruto's strengths. Also, a lot of these techniques just say they are stronger versions of another technique. So this means that there is the chance these techniques exists just to showcase difference in power."

All those techniques you just looked at that cover the individual motions are straightforward. I'm not going to go through every single one. If you can read, then you are set. But now more importantly, tell me why combinations are needed in that case. Why not just use those individual motion techniques?

"Combinations are needed because they do things beyond the scope of individual motions Sensei. They can also produce special effects or have special movements that can be used in different ways. You said that this technique (Suiken) - Drunken Fist can be used to act drunk and avoid certain techniques which isn't possible with the individual motions. So the special effect of acting drunk is really useful in this combination."

Okay, some of those combinations you picked out can be replicated with normal motions or you can just manipulate single motion techniques to incorporate all those motions. Pick out and list the combinations that achieve what you just said. Pick out the ones that produce special motions or effects.

"These are the ones I have Sensei!"

Suiken) - Drunken Fist
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 30
Description: This unusual taijutsu style is a unique style of combat Drunken Fist Fighters become human powerhouses who'll strike unpredictability, with no inhibitions, an explosive fury and without any second thoughts about their actions. The user can either make themselves drunk or imitate the method by use of swaying and uneven balance on their feet to attack their opponents a total of 12 variant attacks.

(Shubi Kurēn) Defensive Crane
Type: Defensive/Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 30
Description: A very advanced and complex defensive form, the Defensive Crane allows the user to divert the path of incoming attacks with the back of his hands, using circular and wide movements that expand outwards. He can intercept weapons or incoming taijutsu attacks. The technique is best used when facing an opposing Taijutsu move by diverting the incoming limb to one side and combo the defensive stance with an attack, exploiting the opening created.

(Tomoenage) Monkey Flip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user grabs the enemy by his shirt and falls backwards, using his weight to produce all the momentum. The user will put one or both of his legs into the targets body, extending them in the correct moment, propelling the enemy backwards, upside down across the battle field.

(Kōsa Hō) – Intersection method
Rank: B
Type: Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: With this jutsu, the user is able to intercept and counter an oncoming taijutsu technique by raising the knee, and driving the elbow downwards at the same time. This catches the attacking limb between his two limbs, and drives the elbow down with great force, effectively shattering the bone.

(Raikou Boruto) – Lightning Bolter
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: The user punches the opponent twice with their fist. The second launches them high into the air. The user then jumps above them and punches them back down. Then, the user disables the opponent with large shuriken from above, then lands several powerful blows while spinning like a drill, drilling the opponent into the ground.

(Hien) - Flying Swallow
Rank:B
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: An addition-line technique that augments the killing power of a blade like a kunai or sword by flowing chakra into it. The materialised chakra is shaped like a blade, cutting up everything it touches. It is also possible to alter the attack range of the weapon by adjusting the amount of chakra put into the blade. Seeing through the movements is said to be a Herculean task. The density of the chakra is so high it becomes visible. It not only raises the power of the weapon, but simultaneously turns oneself into a blade as well. The chakra-enhanced blades are strong and sharp enough to strike through solid rock or cut through iron (C rank or below). The user slashes then in a fury of punches of a 18 hit combo.

That's a good list. I'm not going to walk you through each one, if you can read then you know know what they do. But I'm more focused on the importance of what they do and how it can be used to your advantage. I won't give you answers early on so I want you to tell me first. Lets start with Drunken Fist. What are the special effects and why are these effects useful?

We'll continue like this through the entirety of this list. No need to perform the techniques or anything, just answer those two questions. And we'll discuss.

"The special effects for Drunken Fist are that they all you yo act drunk which makes your moves much more fluid and unpredictable. The special effects are useful because you are react in an orthodox way to certain things that are in front of you. You can use the movements of a drunk man and refine them to help you evade attacks and to launch attacks. Drunk people can fall down in order to make attacks miss them or stumble, Drunken Fist opens the door for more fluid motions that you can't normally make."

That's the general sense of Drunken Fist. It allows you to turn even actions like falling over into a proper counter. If there is a techniques that is aimed at your head, you could use Drunken Fist to fall down causing the technique to fly right over you. What you can do is still limited by physics (you would know if you read the thread) but it allows you to do unpredictable things.

I can't tell you how to think so I can't tell you how to use the technique. Move on to the next one. Same questions.

"I think that (Shubi Kurēn) Defensive Crane is a good technique but I honestly think that you could do this just using free form Sensei. It is a very basic move that is used in many real life martial arts fighting styles. It doesn't do that much other than just divert the punch or kick away which you can do even without this technique. It doesn't give any special properties another than diverting projectiles. I do think it is useful if my opponent used a move and then I had to use a move to block them like you told me Sensei. In that situation, this technique would be useful in slapping the projectiles away."

I don't think it is worth a use when you're dealing with hand to hand combat but there are certain C-rank projectile based Ninjutsu, in that case, this is a cost efficient technique to block those projectiles. But other than for that, I'd do a free form usage of this move in order to redirect body parts and what not.

Next technique.

"I think the situation for this (Tomoenage) Monkey Flip is also the same Sensei. I can do it using just free form explanation but it could be really useful when I am defending against a technique. (Tomoenage) Monkey Flip requires me to fall down on my back which I can use to avoid some things. Like if there is a sharp spear in my way, I can use this to fall down and avoid it, the same as with a projectile based technique. I could also tweak the technique a bit and use it in combination with one of my shadow clones since you are currently teaching my that technique Sensei. The clone could launch me across the battlefield which would be useful."

I don't think launching across the battlefield is practical but using the fall down aspect of it to avoid concentrated blasts is a good idea. Anyway, the next technique is straightforward. The same questions but I won't complain if your answers are quite obvious.
