Taijutsu is a type of fighting that involves the martial arts, taijutsu is formed by accessing the user's physical and mental energies, using stamina and strength gained through long and painful training. Taijutsu doesn't usual require the use of chakra. Tai doesn't require any hand seals to be able to perform it.No problem. Now, before we go further, I want to ask you a few questions. What, in your own words of course, do you think Taijutsu means? Do you know some advantages of using tai as well as disadvantages? Also, how would you describe your own description abilities?
Pretty much what I was looking for. Taijutsu is simply the word used to sum up all hand to hand combat. Kenjutsu would be an extension of taijutsu. There are also nintaijutsu, kentaijutsu, etc which are simply combining either ninjutsu with taijutsu or kenjutsu with taijutsu. Personally my favorite style, it's very easy to do but quite hard sometimes to pull off correctly and even harder to string together a brilliant combo. Now, since most taijutsu also involves ninja tools, what can you tell me of kunais and shuriken and other ninja tools and how you would use them with taijutsu.Taijutsu is a type of fighting that involves the martial arts, taijutsu is formed by accessing the user's physical and mental energies, using stamina and strength gained through long and painful training. tl;dr: It's simply just hand to hand combat.
Advantages:
Saves chakra.
Saves time.
Tai is quicker to use/perform then gen/ninjutsu.
Disadvantages:
Tai is mainly only short-range, maybe some cases mid-range.
It depends really. My description abilities were really plain and short a while ago, but they are getting longer but not ridiculously huge.
Kunai's is are one of the most common ninja tools along side shuriken, in the Narutoverse they are mainly used for thrusting and/or stabbing.Pretty much what I was looking for. I made it simple for now!Yes, that is what I wanted in a nutshell, though the last part didn't really say much, but it'll do lol. I will say before we continue though that the most crucial element involved in taijutsu is description. It is ideal to be as detailed as you can when you use taijutsu to minimize confusion. Also, there are two forms of taijutsu to learn: Jutsu form and free form. While the first is more commonly seen and learned, the second one can only really be learned through continues usage, bettering yourself over time. I'll try to help you get better in each of these as we train. That being said, let's get to it. ^_^
I want you to run at my clone and attack in anyway that you see fit.
May first spar was a freeform spar.Good, as that jutsu is fairly simple, there is no need to add much more input on it. One thing though, I'm glad you were descriptive with what you did. Description is everything in taijutsu; this I cannot stress enough.
(Gangeki) - Rock Attack
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 10
Description: The user will strike their opponent with a strong punch to the chest
Now, I want you to run once more at my clone, but this time, make a jumping kick, hitting him in the chest.
*makes a clone*
Okay, I understand.Very well.
(Dainamikku Entori) - Dynamic Entry
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:N/A
Damage Points:10
Description:A taijutsu attack were the user does a jumping kick into the opponents face.
Now, as you just showed, running is a way to add momentum to a strike, increasing the strength and speed behind it. Another way to do so is spinning your body, increasing the speed of the incoming limb. I want you to hit my clone with a spinning low kick, knocking him down with more strength than a basic standing kick.
*makes a clone*
-I begin, by running at your clone I make it look like, I am going to hit your clone up around his face, but as I close in, on him I seamlessly drop down low, I make a fist with my right hand, and go to punch your clone right in the chest.-Good.
(Konoha Reppū) - Leaf Gale
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points:10
Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.
Now to introduce a new aspect to training: Feints. In Theory, feints are quite effective, getting the foe to think you are doing something when you intend to do another thing completely. You 'fake' swing one way and once they take the bait and either try to attack that incoming limb or defend against a blow from that side, you switch up and come from the other side, catching them off guard. On the RP, it doesn't exactly work like that because they see everything you say you are going to do that turn, but that's another discussion for another time.
I want you to come at my clone like you are going to strike and hit him high and when he goes to block the attack by either ducking or dropping low, swing low and hit him in either the chest or the face is he drops down.
*makes a clone*
My mistake. ^^Well...that'll work but this attack is used with kicks. O_O Do it again, but this time using kicks to attack. ^^
Much better.
(Konoha Senpū) - Leaf Hurricane
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 10
Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.
Now on to the C-ranks. We've covered momentum and feints now on to gravity. Gravity keeps us all grounded, literally; it pulls us down to the earth, and no matter how high up we go, we will have to inevitably fall back down. There are numerous ways to use gravity to your advantage, attacking from above and other things. One way we're going to look at now is using gravity to add momentum. You can use your body as a spring of sorts, dropping backwards, causing the front part of your body to rise with great force. The heavier you are, the more effective this is for you. This is the basics behind the next jutsu.
I want you to fall backwards, swinging your leg upwards, striking him in the head with your kick, using the gained momentum from falling backwards to augment your attack.
*makes a clone that stands in front of you*
Okay, my mistake.Well...that was good enough but remember description is key with taijutsu, the better you describe, the less chances of confusion arise.
(Konoha Shōfū) – Leaf Rising Wind
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: This technique uses the entire body as a spring, by amassing power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.
Now, I want you take strike my clone with a downwards strike, hitting him to the earth. Tell me. what use would this have in a fight.
