Kakashi only uses his Mangekyo in absolutely necessary situations, much like alive Itachi, while someone like Sasuke or Madara constantly spams it so they both lost their vision relatively quickly. Itachi took 8 years to finally start losing his vision, Kakashi has not even had his Mangekyo for a year.

Against Deidara, Sasuke, and the War Arc. Do you see a parallel? They are all Kage-level ninja he is fighting in which he used Kamui. Itachi used his Mangekyo against Kakashi, Jiraiya, and Sasuke. Every single fight [except for 1] we have seen alive Itachi in, he uses his Mangekyo.

Itachi Tsukuyomi'd Kakashi and used Amaterasu on Jiraiya's inescapable jutsu, I don't see how that isn't considered usage of his eyes, but if the question is the frequency of his jutsu usage, why is Itachi's 8 years worth of Mangekyo jutsu not being questioned?

Shee notes that Sasuke's Amaterasu usage is better than Itachi and Shikaku knew of Itachi's prowess in Genjutsu. He has clearly used Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu over the time span between the Sasuke fight and Shisui's death. And how did he gain a full Susano'o? Clearly he trained that as well, which is likely the most taxing of Mangekyo jutsu.

It's easy to note that Kakashi hasn't used his Mangekyo as much as Itachi and didn't abuse it like Sasuke so his vision remains intact.

And who is to say his vision hasn't been impacted? When he fought Itachi's clone, he noted that Itachi's vision is less than perfect, he must've figured that out by experience, no?
