never considered obitos tomoe'd circle on his back to be anything but a design to differentiate himself from maddy. i just thought it was bc he had a sharingan. his horns were uneven too, it was too large above his sharingan. good read. i want obito to be important, not just a fodder sidekick.

What if I told you Naruto's seal is on his right hand and Sasuke's his left? You're also overthinking this. The whole story is about how two opposing forces working together is better than two opposing forces in one.

Sage Energy, and these circles, are a symbolism for Sage Mode. It is not any coincidence that Hagoromo was known as the Sage of Six Paths, because it was his objective to create balance between Power and Love.

You missed something though. The Uchiha and Sasuke are not just crescent moon, and the uzumaki and Naruto are not just sun.

As you can see, the Uzumaki crest is a full circle with whirling inside. It tells you that the sun has merged with something else. On the Uchiha crest, you have the moon along with something like a fan. This tells us the the Uchiha are not just crescent moon but they are descendant of two different peoples (or their power come from the moon meeting someone else).

Well, I looked at it from a majority perspective. Their powers are not pure Yin and Yang but is actually a mixture of both. As such, both Naruto and Sauske have the Earth power and a little Sun and Moon power. But when you take the majority of their powers, Sauske = Moon, Naruto = Sun and Obito could be = Earth.

The end fact is nothing in this world is pure. There is a mixture of energies everywhere. Naruto has Sage Mode which is connected to the Earth. Perhaps he will give it to Obito and awaken his Earth Seal ? Who knows ? We will have to wait and see.

Because of sage mode perhaps ? It is connected with the Juubi after all. Maybe, Naruto might give Obito that Earth Seal so that they can form a trio and defeat Kaguya. If you look at it now, Naruto may be stronger than Sauske because he has Sun and Earth powers.

As such both Naruto and Sauske's seals are not in balance with each other. By giving that Earth power away to Obito, the three of them will be able to attain balance and seal Kaguya.

And I think that will be the entrance of the newly revived Madara.

Sasuke has the concentric circles in his eyes (Rinnegan) while Naruto has the concentric mark in his back (Senjutsu of Six Paths).

It is because both of them are manipulating Shizen energy. Both achieved balance.
