For this one, you want to hit where the shoulder and neck meet like so

now dont hold it too hard, otherwise you may accidentally hurt urself and let go of ur sword, giving your opponent a chance to attack you. besides, u dont want a handle-burn on ur hand do ya?

try it again with a grip that is optimal in comfort for you.
