As soon as you leap backward and proceed with a horizontal cut from left to right, i immediately fall backward (like lieing down) after your horizontal cut has pass i do a flip to get up then i again rush toward you and doing a horizontal cut.

sensei, may i know how many type of sword strikes are there
other then horizontal cut ? o.o

*As you come at me with the horizontal cut, I simply swing my blade downward, slamming my blade against yours, and putting us at a standstill with crossed blades.*

o_o Did I never teach you any of them except the horizontal? There is the vertical slash, the diagonals, stabs and lunges, sweeps, rising cuts, etc. o_o

*As you go down to sweep, I just jump backwards, dodging it and putting distance between us.*

As, well, the Rising Cut is a technique that I usually use to combo from a sweep. When used from a crouched position, you spring upwards while swinging your blade upwards, giving it a lot of vertical force. It's a very good move, if it can connect - may not necessarily hit, but it can break a guard due to all the force.

xd Well, there are millions of different ways to slash. I only teach the basic slashes, and for a reason - I want to give people only the basics, and let them build their own style from there.
