Ok I have read through the conversations and everyone seems to be focused on who is stronger. Itachi was definitely more experienced and therefore was able to plan out better then his brother but Sasuke had/has a drive that Itachi didn't. That being said there is one major difference no one has really touched on and that seems to be their different fighting styles. I believe Itachi was a much more close combat style where Sasuke likes to have distance. I say this due to the fact that Sasuke developed his lighting style to extend to a pretty good distance and was able to successfully fight deidara. Itachi has only been shown either using genjutsu or hand to hand techniques so I feel that he is a much more close quarter combatant. This would account for the differences in Susanoo's weapons as the bow is greater distance and the sword and shield is for hand to hand.

Just a thought.

Lets see the difference. Itachi's was fully developed when he used it. We never saw sasuke's fully developed. The only person we saw sasuke use his bow on was kakashi and danzo. Both almost died without a trick, using wood jutsu and kamui. His bow is powerful and very fast. You underrate his susanoo. :| Now with EMS expect a power up to.

There is no "weaker" or "stronger" Susasnoo. I try to show you why:

How old was Itachi? kind of 20?! Sazuke was 16 years old. Could there be a chance that the age is a factor that indicates possible skill difference?

Furthermore, different Sharingan, different Susanoo. True Itachis was very strong, having this sealing sword with pod to seal in it. The shield that reflects every attack.

Sazuke, on the other side, has this damn pr0n bow with unbelievable speed and crazy penetration.

If this will not convince you, ok, so you do. But what you have to accept is, that Sazuke is not this weaker than Itachi like you are writing. For example: Sazuke is much more skilled with Amaterasu than Itachi. He can delete the flames on will. Ok, we do not really know if Itachi were able too, so far. Additionally he could use Amaterasu as a shield to avoid attacks, or to ignite his foe on "their" will

In the end we have to say, we will see Sazuke fighting power faster than somewhat...

i see people comparing sasuke with itachi after the fight when he got ameteratsu as a fact in the manga itachi couldv killed sasuke its a simple fact and susanoo is as good as the same only diff color so its most likely that sasuke susanoo is the dark side and itachi is the beautiful side so i think
