At the end of one of the chapters he created 5 clones, and jokingly said: "Would you prefer for the clones to use Susanoo or not?" I guess that monster wasn't kidding.

This statement is irritating me now.

Rinnegan was ALREADY activated before he chose to use Perfect Susano'o. It was never confirmed he needed it in order to use it. I mean, the dude can clearly switch between EMS and Rinnegan at will and even when using the original Susano'o has shown to have the Rinnegan activated. So, that is not a fact.

Agreed, it's only fair. However, do you really think he's gonna obtain that power out of nowhere when he has no idea that it even exist? Sasuke obtaining something else would be a little more believable. I'm not saying I don't want him to get it, however if he does I just hope it makes sense.

madara activated rinnengan when he used complete form, he just had his ems activated because he used it to use a genjutsu on the raikage so he obviously needed some help from rinnengan to go into the complete form
