i was just wondering about susanoo versions, what is it that defines its strength? chakra? mental strength? anyway i'm bored, which one would win?

I think mental strength increases Susano'o power, because when Sasuke gets angry or mad, his Susano'o grows and even transforms. Chakra may play a role too, but i think overall Mental strength or emotions defines A Susano'o's status.

I think it's mental strength since when Sasuke gets annoyed at Kakashi on the bridge it grows bigger and it's muscles form. But then again if you have strong chakra it would probably be more powerful.

Probably both, i think the colder your chakra becomes the stronger susano'o becomes. Take sasuke for example, he let himself become consumed with hatred and he finally completed his susano'o when he fought kakashi.

Itachi had years of negativity to fully develop his susano'o.

Madara has the ultimate susano'o due to his hate for the senju and the hidden leaf village, he even shows no love for the clan that abandoned him when he needed them most.


But in an arm wrestling competition, I'd say madara's susano'o would dominate, he has way too much emotional baggage, way more than sasuke.
