Surprised or not? SPOILER

I don't know about you, but in today's manga, it was stated that the rods were needed for the Rinnegan's ability of linked vision. I thought that was only for Pain to reanimate the dead bodies, and that this linked vision is natural to every Rinnegan user without the rods. Are you surprised that rods are needed for EVERYONE or not?

It confused me. I thought the rods were just to reanimate the dead bodies and use them at nagato's will. Kishi and his evil ways to trick my mind.

well i kept thinking how else would he be able to link their vision into one mind. answer, through chakra contoll

so i wasn't surprised as much as i was happy to see that my thinkin was ok lol

plus peins bodies looked so much cooler cos of the piercings rather than a rod in the heart haha

i think they meant if you take the rods out, the edo jinks lose the chakra being given to them, so the rinnegan and sharingan would vanish and there would be no more linked vision

didn't really surprise me. if rinnegans were automatically linked then that would be rather annoying if you had a rinnegan and had to see what all the other rinnegan users where seeing at the same time.

that being said, yes, there are very few rinnegan users.

Anyway - I think it makes perfect sense that the shared field of vision is done through the chakra connections seeing as it links all the eyes to one person and vice versa.
