It is going to be an epic season...but something..um I don't know...the vibe of the show for me is kind of gone you know. Like I was more used to hearig Sam whining and crying about how he can help but then ends up screwing everything up, or how Dean was more of a "Shoot first ask questions later" type of guy. Its like they forgot they fought BOTH Heaven and Hell.

Meanwhile, Sam decides he doesn’t want his soul back and asks Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roché) for a protective spell to keep his soul out of his body. Balthazar tells Sam he needs the blood of his father for the spell to work and since John Winchester is dead, Sam decides Bobby (Jim Beaver) is the next best thing.
