i believe they have said they are going to make three of them and will most likely have lex luthor as a villain. a way i would enjoy him being the villain is the man in the shadows pulling the strings. have him creating metallo and using him to fight superman. bring in some new villains like doomsday, bizarro or brainiac.


i have a little feeling that the man of steel will have a cliff hanger ending. a little easter egg to who the villain might be in the next movie or Zod being defeated and leaving possibly coming back in the third film

Since ZOd is where we are starting I hope we get to darkseid. Zod is my favorite superman villian but darkseid is a monster.

They would have to make more than three movies to incorporate that, I think, unless Snyder's able to implement multiple villains in a movie, like Nolan. I like your idea, I just don't see how they could do it. First movie is vs Zod, second and third will most likely be against Lex Luthor and Darkseid, so there won't be too much time for Luthor to stay behind the curtain and play puppeteer

a way i could see them introducing the character metallo is that hes a black ops mercenary doing a job for the CIA. gets severely wounded. shows a doctor on the phone talking with someone. doctor is forced and reluctantly proceeds with the procedure and thus metallo is born. first 15-20 minutes of the movie right there. later on in the movie have it revealed that lex was the man on the phone in the beginning of the movie

Yes, I agree it's a good thought, but not for a trilogy. Luthor needs his own movie to shine as well, plus Darkseid. UNLESS they decide to use Darkseid in the Justice League movie. Then your idea is pretty solid, setting up Luthor to be the villain for the third and final movie

darkseid is rumored to be the villain for the justice league movie. well its more of speculation than a rumor. thats why i didnt mention him for possible villains.

Yeah. And Tom Hardy for Lex Luthor! In the comics and cartoons, he's usually a lot bigger than how he was portrayed in Smallville and the other Superman movies. I don't think people need to worry about the fact that Hardy has already played Bane either, since that Batman franchise is hopefully dead. It was perfect the way it was, no need to bring that Batman into the JL movie
