Practical was the wrong word but Superman's feats make him seem like he was written by a 10 year old.

Theres tons of fictional characters that share the same aspects, plus he was made in the 1930s, back then that was considered quite original and "awesome". His feats are to show how powerful humanity's hope and savior is, and that Superman has no limits.

I don't see how that makes him any less boring but whatever. My point is, as far as battles go, Superman shouldn't even be bothered with. He's too OP and inconsistent.

Nah he can be paired against the likes of Thor, darkseid, etc, people just don't like him being paired against dbz characters due to this whole feud

Edit: A feud which should just end for the sake of it, everyone should just let screwattack be the judge of this debate

DBZ is also one of the exaggerated verses.broly was able to blow up the entire galaxy which composed of billions of planets.this kind of thing makes the story unappealing but superman has crossed each and every limit.like seriously how can someone is able to move 1000 times faster than light?

Writer of superman is just giving every single thing in superman's feat without giving a second thought about it.this thread actually proves that superman is a badly written comic.

Don't forget that naruto went downhill after when kishi started giving illogical powers to protagonists and antagonists.

Dc is super powers, and when in comes to super powers, anything is possible, magic/meta/dimensional warping, all of that is what comic entails, and illogical powers is whats to be expected. Superman is an alien who is enhanced by our solar system's yellow sun, dc explains his feats rather well.

They had to though. When MS was introduced, everything went downhill. If you don't have the hax to fight against it then there would be no chance to win.

DBZ is not even CLOSE to being the strongest, which is hilarious. If you go to the youtube sections of dragon ball videos. People are literally wanking dbz to death. They even say that goku can defeat Marvel med-diff, which is hilarious.

They even state that DBZ is the most powerful anime/manga to date, which is also wrong. There are many mangas and animes that makes DBZ look like a child's play. They can't even defeat TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN, let alone top tiers.

His feats are cool, sure. But they're only a piece of his character and what makes it what it is. It's about his character arc of a godly being trying to fit in amongst humans, and when the time comes, be a symbol of the greater good for humanity to strive towards.
