Dude, I'm so glad you posted this. Btw, I'm almost positive Orochimaru was the one to give Tobi the Hashirama cells since he gave some to Danzo too.

By now, we should know Nagato has Madara's eyes. Now, would it be logical to conclude that Tobi, being skilled in medical ninjutsu himself, transplanted the eyes from Madara to Nagato?

I have no idea as to why Tobi controlled Yagura, though. Controlling a perfect jinchuriki is too big of a risk in my opinion but Tobi did it. Maybe he was testing his abilities or something.

I agree, I think he is Kagami. I only ever considered Tobi to be either a Madara Zetsu-type hybrid being, Uchiha Fugaku, or Kagami... recently I've been on the Kagami train, being that the Zetsu theory I had came about when we had much less info, he isn't Fugaku, obviously, and your Kagami theory makes tons of sense.

tobi controlled yugara because in the plotting stages of the plan he realized that the juubi was needed. the juubi is made from the tails and thus...has the ability to be controlled. he controlled a jinchuriki to help with the thought of becoming a vessel himself. (i know it might be a stretch)

Yeah Initially I believed he was Izuna Uchiha thenlike you hopped on the Kagami chain which I managed to make a theory with makes a lot of sense

The fact that Tobi has the sharingan in one eye and the rinnegan in the other means that he has not surpassed the sharingan so he could use both of them. In addition you said (the creater of the thread) that Tobi has a MS, which is actually not true.

We haven'ts seen tobi use MS. His interdimensional justu is only his sharingan's ability. This fact leaves out another question - why doesn't kakashi have the same sharingan ability. He has to use his MS in order to be able to use the other dimension.

The mystery behind Tobi's rinnegan and sharingan might be simpler than we think. He just might a simple person whose pain made him the person who he is. Otherwise why would he call himself "no-one"

See, the pieces of our theories of tobi being a character that we already know fit up until a certain point. Then it just gets a matter of guessing and assuming that what we assume is correct.

A user last week made up a really good theory about Tobi being the second son of The Sage of the Six paths. Maybe you guys would like to check it out.

And to answer some questions :

Yes I do not believe Tobi has rinnegan on his own - this is because he does not have EMS
I believe he does have MS here is some reasoning :

The Mangekyō Sharingan has the ability to control the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox]

With this statement it suggests you need MS to control the fox , Tobi has controlled the fox therefore, it is safe to assume he has MS
However there is no proof whether it was activated or not this is pure speculation - a theory I am not saying it is right nor wrong U_U

Another thing that points to MS is as seen in Sasuke and Itachi they have Amaterasu in one MS eye and Tsukuyomi in the other MS eye
This can be the same for Obito's eye , the MS techniques are different
One MS eye warps away - Kakashi
The other eye absorbs - Tobi

(this is only a theory I have heard btw that I believe )

LOL you sort of point like your for my theory when you say Kakashi uses MS to get to the other dimension - this points to the fact the Tobi also has to use MS to get to the other dimension :shrug:
