Immediately after the earth begins dropping, he stomps his foot on the ground, creating a tunnel that leads to the side of the hole he had just created and you are at the bottom of. He then breathes fire into the tunnel, causing lava to erupt into the hole.

As Renji stares down the strange looking man, he notices the ground slightly rumbling beneath him, then as the ground drops Renji quickly reacts by creating a pillar of earth that shoots out diagonally towards Renji. Renji lands on the pillar as it keeps rising and rides it out of the pit

Description: After doing the needed hand seals Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird, extends water over a large scale, surges and rises up to several dozen meters high. Then it streams down to the ground in one big cascade, much like a gigantic waterfall. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra.

Then as the wave of water charges rapidly at you Renji creates 5 stone spikes that come from the ground behind you, the spikes come out of the ground in the formation of the 5th side of a dice and are aimed at both your lungs, the centre of your spine and your two kidneys. The sound of the spikes would be drowned out by the noise coming from the huge wave, thus making the spikes unnoticeable

As you rise up on your pillar, the Mizukage stops lowering the ground and creates multiple spikes at the base of the pillar that stab it and cause it crumble to the ground. This will also make you fall as well before you can land and perform your next jutsu. Depending on the angle that you created the pillar, you may or may not fall onto the spikes.

Description: The user first performs the Bird hand seal and the user condense mud or stone, from the ground, and shape them into spikes that will protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. The spikes cannot penetrate targets of greater density.

As you begin falling, the Mizukage sends his lightning chakra into the sky and creates a lightning bolt that strikes down directly on you, wherever you are at that moment (Meaning, if you change positions, the lightning will strike where you are now). Since you will be trying to regain balance from falling, it would be difficult to avoid.
