Including Edo Tensei.

But my point here is that summoning, like any other jutsu, has to be learned and mastered before use. People claim that a summoning is not a part of that character's power, when in reality a summoning is just another jutsu they have mastered and can use at their whim.

Summoning is no different than a kunai; Each may not be of the character's own personal power, but they still apply because they can be used as a weapon.

I mainly say this because of Edo Tensei. Edo Tensei is a jutsu that should always be counted as a character's own personal power, since it is nothing more than a summoning in which they control.

Again, I'll use the Kunai example. Kabuto summoning and using the 3rd Raikage is no different than him pulling out a kunai. Each are weapons he honed and is now able to use, even though they are not an actual part of him.

Yes I think it is part of a Users Arsenal. The difference is, is that Edo Tensei needs Prep Time. On the other hand, almost all other Summonings just need blood and a hand sign.

Every jutsu requires prep time. Naruto learning Rasengan is prep time.

But we don't take that away from him, do we?

Yes, it should be part of a shinobi's arsenal. However, it should not be part of a shinobi's powers. One side is where a shinobi can use it to help them in combat. Another side is a physiological and behavioral acquirement that can also be used to help them in combat.

Yes the summoning counts as their power, but the abilities that the summon has are NOTpart of his power due to the individual being accredited for them and not the summoner.

This, but also the person who is the controller of the summon in the manga or what not had to go through training to learn it so that is why most likely everything is the way it is you can't just have the skill you have to train to get them despite what version of the bio you may or may not have.

First of all, your not even understanding what a summoning is .....

The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly.

Its a transportation technique.....which most of you guys aren't understanding.. your logic is if I teleport you to here, you are part of my power.. NO. That is not how it works.....Individuals can't be part of another individual's power unless they share the same body like Naruto and Kurama....

What difference does it make if it's a S/T?

Fact of the matter is, Kabuto slaps his hands together, summons 3rd Raikage, and orders him to stomp yo ass.

That sounds like a part of his power to me.

Woah, caps lock rage much? Calm down bro.

As long as Kabuto can summon Muu, 3rd Raikage, and Trollkage to sh*tstomp anybody, they are his own power and he wins.

I think the point is...if you can control it. It is considered part of your arsenal, thus part of your power.

I mean really, edo tensi are just zombies...if some one can control zombies, that's part of their power...the only reason we think it isn't is because we've seen a couple of Edo Tensi who happen to have there personalities still intact. If Kabuto didn't allow any personality, we all would have merely seen the EDo Tensi as another summoning type jutsu...except without all the complaining that a summon usually makes.

I'd like to reference Fairy Tail, in that Celestial Mages only abilities are summoning powerful celestial spirits... those spirits are considered part of those Mages power.
