Of course, but then it changes sort of changes when you give those clans names.

Uh... please repeat?

I never said hinata was the better character, another slip of the tongue? Perhaps? The adding Hinata to Team seven honestly doesn't change the dynamic as far as the female teammate being obsessed with a male teammate, plus Hinata's personality doesn't mesh with the dynamic. You dint need two reserved emo kids...

Pretty sure you did, but I don't remember exactly. lol w/e you admitted she has a good backstory and was written nicely.

Hinata wasn't obsessed with Naruto though.

Nah, Hinata's personality would mesh far better with Naruto and Sasuke than Sakura since she is empathetic and could relate to them and the similarities they all share, something Sakura canonically could never do and even ended up insulting Sasuke/Naruto over how tone deaf she was to their situations.

Hyuga, Uchiha, Uzumaki > Arbitrary color schemes.

Hinata was well written though. What's wrong with her?

Yeah, unfortunately so. It's a shame too, since you and I both know Hinata is the better character here, which I recall you admitting :lol

Tbh she really not. Kurenai was the closest female that was somewhat well written until she lost her screen time. Next was Kushina or Tsunade.

Lol cant wait till Sumire connection with Ootsuki gets fleshed out more through the nue. She is gonna solo and easily be the top Kunoichi of her class.

Keep sweating though :lol.

Okay, first off, and I don't mean this offensively, but thanks for the laugh.

I don't get how Kurenai is somehow well written when she showed up for half a fight where she got owned and then got pregnant. She has no struggles, unique abilities, development, and I can't even recall her personality tbh. If she even had one.

Kushina and Tsuande are good, yeah. But Hinata is too considering her screen time is on par with Kushina and Tsuande's and she has just as much dev as them.

Too:

>Bland
>Predictable
>One-dimensional (''Naruto-kun'')
>Gullible (Chuunin exams.)
>Vulnerable (never wants to get her hands dirty. She wouldn't kill a fly if it was innocent even if it meant not killing it would endanger everyone around her.)

The list goes on.

If they're accompanied by a name. For instance, Hyuuga ''Hinata''.

Implying I agree that the concoction of an Uzumaki, Uchiha and Hyuuga sounds good.
However, it's messed up by the name that's concomitant to this Hyuuga in place.

Kurenai is badass. She was the frontman of her generation - she was leading the whole squad to fight 9tails (but was stopped by her dad and older people). She is the only one in the series who can KILL inside of Genjutsu (bar Infinite Tsukuyomi). Her Genjutsu prowess is said to be equal to Itachi's. She's fast and has great reflexes - blocking point-blank, blind-spot Itachi's attack.

Sad that she was completely neglected in P2. Such a waste of a great character.

Kinda why i said before she lost her screen time. She was strong enough to become jounin a strong genjutsu user and guts even tho she had no idea how to be a Jounin. Pretty sure she had struggles tbh iirc her fam died during the kyuubi incident so she was somewhat in the same boat as Iruka.

Idk about that tbh. Hinata had some good ST compared to Kushina 2 pages or so. I'd say she had the most out of non team 7 members in Konoha.

No. Hinata's development isn't close ergo it's supplemented by the screentime enhancement she got with Naruto The Last. Kurenai left a memorable mark with how she handled Itachi for at least a while, and even got an applause from him.

She's truly one of very few kunoichi in the manga that didn't get soloed so monumentally pathetically that everyone she became a comic relief. She was just unfortunate she was faced up against Itachi, but had she faced someone w/o proficiency over the Sharingan, she would've been more impressive.

Hinata on the other hand doesn't have much backup for her fiasco. They just piled up one after the other. In fact, the only really highlighting moment in her whole appearance since her debut was when she charged at Pain, and it's sad the only memory of her we'll ever have regarding that instance was how it ended so badly for her. Ending up eating the dirt of the ground, and Naruto losing it, after which he couldn't remember that an alien girl had tried saving him after a maudlin love confession. It's really sad, just talking about it brings sorrow to my heart. It wounds me badly how she got tossed aside every time she got the spotlight.
Inevitably being made a spectacle of.

Okay, that's good and all, but power doesn't equate to a well written character. Kaguya and Obito prove that greatly.

Very funny :coffee:

Too:

>Bland

I'm not going to argue whether she is bland or not, since how bland something is is a matter of taste, but she has more depth than Sakura never the less, so it's still an improvement.

>Predictable

Not as much as Sakura, so an improvement never the less. And that's with her far limited screen time.

>One-dimensional (''Naruto-kun'')

Not as much as Sakura, so an improvement never the less. And that's with her far limited screen time.

>Gullible (Chuunin exams.)

Clingign to Part 1 nonsense when she developed beyond that. Typical of you :lol

>Vulnerable (never wants to get her hands dirty. She wouldn't kill a fly if it was innocent even if it meant not killing it would endanger everyone around her.)

Every sane person knows that Sumire >>> Sarada. At least at this point.

Have to agree. Sumire's been more interesting. Her backstory gave us a good look into her character, and showed us how it was shaped into the model it had taken. That's substantially the reason why she couldn't fail as a character.

The Last.

Still canon development, so dismissing it for arbitrary reasons is just laughable. At the end of the day, her dev is on par with Kushina and Tsuande's.

Kurenai left a memorable mark

Tell that to the popularity polls, Kishimoto, SP, and investors. If anyone left a mark on the fanbase with their limited screen time, it was Hinata.

She's truly one of very few kunoichi in the manga that didn't get soloed so monumentally pathetically that everyone she became a comic relief. She was just unfortunate she was faced up against Itachi, but had she faced someone w/o proficiency over the Sharingan, she would've been more impressive.

You do realize this line of logic can be used for Hinata too, yet you antis constantly flip your reasoning when it comes to this. Excuse Kurenai for fighting someone powerful like Itachi, but mock Hinata for fighting Neji/Pain/Momoshiki. Stop with the hypocrisy please.

Hinata on the other hand doesn't have much backup for her fiasco. They just piled up one after the other. In fact, the only really highlighting moment in her whole appearance since her debut was when she charged at Pain, and it's sad the only memory of her we'll ever have regarding that instance was how it ended so badly for her. lol Just like I said above: Stop with the hypocrisy :lmao:
