Hello there young one. Suiton it was right?

I want you to tell me everything you know about Suiton already, properties, strenghts, weakness, users, kekkei genkai, reacting to other elements. Everythink you know.

Suiton is one of the 5 basic elements in the NB RP, which allows the user to control water from an existing water source or to create water using nature and shape manipulation to turn chakra into water.

Water can cause extreme damage because it can be a very dense mass when used by a master of the element and if it hits the target it can crush it.

- Water is strong against fire, because it can extinguishe it. But if the fire jutsu is higher ranked, it can cause evaporation.
- Water can be used in combination with lightning, because water is good electricity conductor. This combo will increase the overall Lightning and cause way more damage on the target when hit.
- Water can also be used in combination with wind because wind can increase the water its speed and overall power of destruction.
- Water is weak against earth, because earth can absorb/disperse the water and make it useless like that.

Water is used for these Kekkei Genkai:

- Ice Release: Is performed by combining water and wind to create ice.
- Wood Release: Is performed by combining water and earth to create woods and trees.
- Storm release: Is performed by combining water and lightning to create energy beams.
- Boil Release: Is performed by combining water and fire to create a powerful corrosive vapour capable of dissolving anything.

Some users of Suiton are: Kakashi Hatake / Kisame Hoshigaki / The Second Mizukage

Most of the things in here I already knew. only really used Wiki for the Kekkei Genkai ^^

You didn't mention Tobirama:( But besides that little point, good.

I'd like to add that:

Fire + Water - While Water is strong against Fire, it is a really good combianation since it will create steam that can blind and damage the opponent, not really evaporation.

Water + Earth - Yeah, Earth is strong against Water because it can absorb the water, but it can be used in many ways to make really useful combinations with Earth. Earth gives tangibility to it's combinations. Lava is tangible fire, Wind with debris is a more tangible wind, mud is a tangible water, etc etc. Water gives substance and fluidity, earth gives tangibility and strength. You can have water jutsus carry out debris and boulders, or guide your opponents/push them to traps.

Water + Lightning - Also really good to use in combinations, since water will conduct the lightning. For example, you use a large Water based technqiue and your opponent uses Earth to counter, since Earth is Strong against Water. But what he doesn't see/know is your next technique, which is Lightning based, hit and kill it is:)

Wind + Water - They don't really mix well togther, but it can be extremly useful to add more power and speed to your Water technique's by following it up with a Wind based technique. Increasing it's momentum and adding a more destructive power.

It's fun to play aroud with different kind of combinations when you got the time;)

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique

Description: Creates small waves of water,small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

This is the most basic water technique there is, but quite useful. It allows you to create any kind of object out of water, which can be used for offensive and defensive uses. You manipulate your suiton chakra into the objects, or when you're standing on/near a water source, you manipulate the water with your chakra to create the objects.

How to Preform:
I notice your clone and I start by molding chakra in my stomach, then I then push it into my hands and using nature manipulation I change it into water-chakra, I then touch the surface of the water with my hand and by using shape manipulation I create a small blast of water in the direction of your clone. It hits him straight on and makes him disperse.

Advantages:
  • No hand seals required
  • Doesn't require a water source
  • Can be used to manipulate existing water
  • Can be used for Supplementary/Attack/Defence reasons
Disadvantages:
  • It's a rather small scale technique
How to Defend:
I believe that it's possible to counter it by using Earth Release Technique, It would be enough to stop this technique.

Good. Personally I'd add a lightning technique to create a stunning effect when it hits the target. But that's personal preference;)

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

A pretty effective technique to hide yourself from your opponent, though it would also be more difficult to find your opponent easily. You can either use a nearby water source or your own chakra to create the mist. You knead our chakra into the water, or your mouth, and create really tiny droplets of water that will make up the mist. As your chakra is infused in the mist, it is useful to distract Sharingan and Rinnegan users, but it won't fool Hyuuga members.

How to Preform:
I start by molding chakra in my stomach, I then push it into my hands and by using nature manipulation I change it into a great amount of water-chakra. I then place my hand on the water and by using shape manipulation I create really tiny droplets of water which together start making up a mist.

Advantages:
  • Requires no hand seals
  • Can be created from a pre-existing water source or from your own chakra.
  • it can effectively hide the user from dōjutsu, such as the Sharingan and Rinnegan.
Disadvantages:
  • It can't fool the Byakugan

I could use Wind Style: Pressure Damage, because it has a wide and long range.

I would use Fire Release: Fire Whisp because of its range, which is the same as the Hidding in Mist Jutsu. And because my enemy is still wondering about my position I can attack him from wherever I want.

  • Can replace a sword which you lost in battle or if you don't have one, because it you can cut and stab just like a normal one.

Disadvantages:
  • Can only be used in close combat.
How to Defend:
I believe that another chakra infused blade should be enought to defend yourself.

How to Preform:
I notice you throwing a lot of shuriken in my direction. Immediately I start by molding chakra in my stomach, I then hold my arm in front of me and I then push the molded chakra into my hands and by using nature manipulation I change it into water-chakra. Then by using shape manipulation I create a shield made out of water protecting me from the incoming shuriken you threw.
Advantages:
  • Requires no hand seals
  • Doesn't require a pre-existing water source
  • Can be used for stopping incoming projectiles and also in close combat situations.
Disadvantages:
  • Makes no damage on the enemy
How to Defend:
Well, if your enemy used Water Release: Water Shield Technique to defend himself from the projectiles you threw.
You could use Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique to attack him beneath his feet while he's focused on defending. It would be even more effecient if you could use another jutsu to confuse your enemy so that he doesn't even notice you going underground to perform Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique.

(Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

I would add lightning to this water based shield so that if the enemy decides to fight you in close combat you could paralyze him if he'd hit the shield with f.e. a kick.

Personally I would focus my chakra for the sword in my hands, since it's easier to make a sword in your hands then stomach;)

(Suiton: Suikōtoppa) – Water Release: Water Shark Breakthrough

After performing the Rat → Dog → Ox hand seals you will focus your chakra in your hand, creating an orb of water. Then you will manipulate the water inside the or to create a whip that can strike your opponent.

How to Preform:
I begin by focusing my suiton chakra and then channeling it into the water through my feet. There I begin to build it up, funneling more an more chakra into the water until I have amassed a signifiant amount of chakra. I then focus my chakra upwards out of the water, bringing the liquid with it and as it starts to move I use shape manipulation to form the water into a large shark. I then direct this shark straight at your clone on the shore, where it smashes into him and knocks him over from the force

Advantages:
  • No hand seals required
Disadvantages:
  • It's short range
  • There has to be a water source short range from both of you.
How to Defend:
I could use Earth Release: Earth Shore Return to protect myself from the water shark.

(Doton: Doroku Gaeshi) - Earth Release: Earth Shore Return

How to Preform:
First I concentrate my chakra and I then push it into my left hand. I then simultaneously perform the Rat>Dog>Ox hand seals and focus my suiton chakra out of my hand. As it leaves I use both nature and shape manipulation to change it to water and then form it into a long whip. I then quickly sling the whip forward at your clone, hitting him and making him disperse.


Advantages:
  • Can be used to both attack and bind the opponent
  • Is perfect for lightning + water combo
Disadvantages:
  • Requires 3 hand seals
  • If you keep contact with it while its touching your enemy they could channel lightning jutsu through it
How to Defend:
I could use Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique to protect myself from the water whip.

(Doton: Hokoriheki no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique

Good, building up some sweat. Try to name a bit more advantages though next time, only one is too simple, you have to think about the technique's.

Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique can not be used to defend against the water whip, imo, as it is not a real solid technique. Kunai have less power then the water whip. Personally I would create a D/C-Ranked earth technique to defend, or a higher ranked technique to destroy the whip and continue to attack your opponent.

The ranks of technique's can be quite confusing, Yes, C-Ranked Water can overcome a D-Rank Earth technique, but it loses power in doing so, which means that you can't use one C-Ranked Water technqiue to deffend against 2 D-Ranked Earth technique's. Lili-chawn taught me a kind of guideline to help out in battle's:

Give a number to every rank (1 = D, 2 = C, etc) and then retract 1 value for the elemental weakness. So when using a B-Ranked Earth and a B-Ranked Water it would be a 3 - (3-1) = 1, which means the Earth continues as a D rank, sort of. If the number is negative, then it means your jutsu is defeated and your opponent's jutsu continues towards you as a smaller rank.

(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field

Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

A technique I personally use quite often, it's simple but effective. You perform two hand seal as you mold your chakra in your mouth, then you spit out to the ground while it turns into a syprup like substance. It will cause the opponent to become trapped to the starch when they can not focus their chakra in their feet on time. Something you of course do while performing the technique;) The size of the field depends on you.

(Mizu Bunshin) - Water Release: Water Clone

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. These clones are also limited in that they can only travel short range from the user without losing control. When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water.
Note: Can only perform up to C rank Water techniques and requires a water source.

After focusing you chakra trough your whole body you will do the Tiger handseal and create an exact clone of you, made out of water. Not as useful as shadowclones, but still effective when used right. It can only move upto short range of you and is limited to D and C-Ranked water technique's

How to Preform:

As the chakra leaves my mouth I use shape manipulation to change the chakra into a thick and sticky liquid similiar to water. I aim this liquid at your clones feet and once it makes contact he becomes stuck to the liquid. Unable to move.

Advantages:
  • Can be used for short and long range situations.
  • It has a high-viscosity, sticking your enemy and making him unable to move.
  • It has a wide range.
  • Can be used to effectively reduce the enemy's area of activity.
Disadvantages:
  • Requires 2 hand seals
  • Makes no (direct) damage on the enemy
  • You can also get caught in it, so you have to be careful where you step.
How to Defend:
You can use Earth Release: Antlion Technique to suck all the starch syrup up and and use it against the user. making him drown in his own technique.

(Doton: Arijigoku no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Antlion Technique

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.


Combinations
After I make my enemy unable to move because of the starch syrup, I could use Lightning Release: Fangs of Lightning to hit him and cause him a lot of damage.

(Raiton: Ikazuchi no Kiba) - Lightning Release: Fangs of Lightning

Range: Short/Mid

Damage Points: 40
Description: The user will raise his hand or a weapon and send an electrical discharge into the clouds, allowing them to create lightning strikes in the desired location. The discharges are triggered right after the technique and cannot be delayed or prepared before hand.

How to Preform:
I begin by concentrating my suiton chakra and then channeling it throughout my body. I then focus my chakra out of my body and perform the tiger hand seal, pushing it into the stream next to me. Then by using shape manipulation I create a clone made out of water, with personality intact.

Advantages:
  • The clone can perform up to C rank water techniques
  • only 1 hand seal
  • There's 2 yourself, which means you can use 2 attacks/techniques. So you get an advantage over your opponent.
Disadvantages:
  • its short range.
  • Requires a water source
  • Can only perform up to C-Rank jutsus.
  • The clone has only 1/10th of the users chakra.
  • When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water.
How to Defend:
Any fire based technique starting from C-Rank will do against the water clone. I could use Exploding Flame Shots to cause the clone enough damage and to make him turn back to water.

( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots

Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

Focusing your chakra into the water, you will compress the water and add a spinning motion to it into for example a drill like shape or whirlpool to attack or defend yourself. Because its general explanation it can be used in a wide range of technique's, it can suit you for what you need

For this technique you need to have used Hidden Mist Jutsu firt, it then allows you to guide natural light towards your opponent, blinding them as long as they are in the mist. It won't fool Byakugan and Senory shinobi that much, as they can see/sense your loacation, but to any other opponent it can be a pretty useful technique

How to Preform:
I concentrate my suiton chakra and I push it ito the water below me through my feet. I then begin to amass my chakra underwater just behind your clone, I quickly channel large amounts of my chakra there until I have built up a sufficient amount for this technique. I then focus the chakra upwards, creating a mass of water that rises up behind your clone without his knowledge. I then spin the water and slam it into your clones back, causing him to disperse.

(This is one way I would use it)

Advantages:
  • A lot of options with this technique
  • Can be used for attack and defence
  • its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius
  • Can be used in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth..
  • The attack comes from underneath, making it harder to then an attack from above or one straight ahead.
Disadvantages:
  • requires a water source
  • Its short range
How to Defend:
If the enemy would use it the way I did, then I could jump up and use Fire Release: Great Flame Flower to make some serious damage on him.

I first use the hidden mist jutsu with the lake as a medium, creating a dense mist in the area around me and your clone. I then concentrate my suiton chakra and I then emit it into the mist. There I begin to build it up, channeling more and more chakra into the mist until I have amassed a significant in the mist around myself and your clone. I then focus my chakra into each individual water droplet in the mist around your clone, by doing so I refract the light through the droplets and at your clones eyes, temporarily blinding him

Jumping up, sidewards, crouching down would not be seen as valid ways to defend against a technique, in this case I would use a lightning based technique to render it useless and maybe damage the opponent.

After performing the 3 handseals you will focus you Suiton chakra in a spinning manner around you, creating a water vortex in the end. This vortex can be used for offensive or defensive technique's, and can knock your opponent unconcious. Personally I'd use it more for defensive situations, but that's up to you.

After clapping your hands together, you will create a spinning vortex of water out of nowhere. The vortx then explodes from the top to create a wave which you can control trough hand movement.

How to Preform:
I notice you clone attacking me, I start by concentrating my suiton chakra and after performing the Ram → Horse → Bird hand seals, I then channel my chakra into the nearby water source. I then begin to build up the chakra there, funneling more and more chakra into the water until Ive built up a sufficient amount for this technique. I then focus my chakra upwards, bringing the water with it I pull it towards me and I then form it into a tornado around my body. I then extend the tornado to be taller than myself and I begin to spin it until it had reached a very high speed. You clone then reaches me and once he makes contact witht the vortex he his knocked unconscious

  • Can be used to both attack and defence
  • It can leave your opponent unconscious
Disadvantages:
  • Requires 3 hand seals
  • Requires a water source
  • Blocks your view on the opponent
  • Doesn't protect you from above and beneat
How to Defend:
If the enemy is defending using Water Style: Water Tornado, I could use Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique to evaporate the water tornado. Opening the way for me to attack.

How to Preform:

I then proceed to simultaneously clap my hands and focus the chakra outwards, as it leaves my hands I use nature manipulation to change it to water. The result of all this is that a spiralling vortex of water appears seemingly out of no where, the vortex grows in size until it explodes into a wave. I then use my hands to direct this wave towards your clone where it smashes into and engulfs him.

Advantages:
  • Doesn't require a water source
  • Doesn't require hand seals
  • The vortex appears out of no where, giving the technique an elment of surprise
  • You can direct the wave with hand movements
Disadvantages:
  • The explosion can go any way, you have to be specific in which way it explodes.
  • You have to stay focused when you summon it, because it could be created too close to you.
How to Defend:
I could use Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work combined with Wind Release: Pressure Damage to evaporate the incoming wave.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

A simple but really useful technique to use, especially when you fight in conditions that mess with your vision, think sun, fog, smoke. After performing the 6 hand seals that are necessary you will release your chakra into the clouds, causing the rain drop, which are filled with a bit of your chakra, get linked to your senses. Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

Best known use with this technique is on Naruto's first real mission, when Zabuza trapped Kakashi in an orb of water. You perform the sequence of hand seals and then spread your hands out in front of you, palms facing forwards, creating a large orb of water around your target. Due to the waters density it can also be used for defensive purposes.

Ithen emit the suiton chakra outside of my body and then upwards into the clouds above me. I have then built up a significant amount of chakra throughout the clouds, I then use nature manipulation to change my chakra into water, filling the gathered clouds with potential rain. I then focus the water straight down, creating rain and as my chakra is present in each individual rain drop they are closely linked to my senses. When the water hits you I can feel the presence of your chakra

There I begin to build it up, pushing more and more chakra into my hands until I've gathered a sufficient amount for this technique. I then focus the chakra out of my hands, using nature manipulation to change it into water and I then use shape manipulation to form the water into a dense sphere around your clone. Once I finish the sphere I plunge my hand into it and pump more chakra into the orb, thus sustaining its shape and density so your clone cannot move.

Advantages:
- Traps the opponent
- Can also be used as a defence

Disadvantages:
- Requires 7 hand seals (8 if hands are included, are they?)
- The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned
- requires a sufficient amount of water


How to Defend:
Neji Hyūga was able to use his ability to release chakra from all of his tenketsu simultaneously to disrupt the flow of chakra and break the prison.


Combinations:
While imprisoned, I can give my opponent a real shocker if I'd let my clone perform Lightning Release: Electric Attack .

Personally I don't think that Gale palm is a useful way to defend against Tiger at Will. I would perform Rain Tiger at Will, as my chakra will be then too everywhere, or another rain technique if you know them. It's based on chakra sensing, when it can't sense chakra your opponent can't spot you. Try creating a dome of earth or wood above you, it stops the rain, and as it doesn't use chakra after being made it won't tell your opponent where you are.

How to Preform:
I begin by concentrating my suiton chakra and I then spread it evenly throughout my body. Once I have done that I begin to build it up, channeling large amounts of chakra through my body until I have a sufficient amount for this technique. I then wait for your clone to reach me and as he does I focus my gathered chakra and I use nature manipulation to change my body into water. This surprises your clone as he goes to punch me he just passes through me. I then end the technique and turn facing your clones back and perform a sweeping kick to his legs, knocking him onto the floor

Advantages:
  • Can dodge incoming pysical attacks
  • Doesn't require Hand seals
Disadvantages:
  • You can't attack while in this form
  • Doesn't do damage on the enemy when he strikes
How to Defend:
I could throw a kunai before attacking my enemy to make sure its not a water clone, or I could use Earth Release: Stone Spikes to make the water clone dissapear and get back to killing the real one! :x

Then using shape transformation I change the water to resemble a dragon and I focus the water forwards, launching it at your clone and smashing the water into him.

  • There's been used a large amount of water, making it more deadly
  • The water can be kept stationay until you decide to attack

The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Hizuren Sarutobi spits mud from his mouth to perform the jutsu whilst Kakashi creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain.

You can't use two technique's at the same time in a such a way. You need your Suiton chakra to change your arm into water, so you cannot focus your Raiton chakra at the same time. Even not really for a another Suiton technique. Only way you can use different attacks at the exact same time is when you have clones or an alley. Though it is possible to channel your Suiton and Katon chakra for example, you need to have Yin-Yang training completed.
