Good. First a few notes before we move on. So the human body still possesses its normal pressure points. However you are right in comparing the tenketsu to those pressure points. So we have both a regular circulatory system and a chakra circulatory system. We still have regular pressure and acupuncture points on our bodies as well as the tenketsu which normally can only be seen by dojutsu such as the Byakugan. It is at those tenketsu that chakra is released. Most tenketsu are concentrated in our hands and mouth as that is where we most commonly release that chakra from. Although there are plenty of other points throughout the human body. And good points about the molding of spiritual and physical energies. Indeed this is a passive process that happens in humans that creates a raw chakra. I wasn't sure what you meant by using chakra is not the same as ninjutsu. In the Narutoverse Ninjutsu is indeed something that utilizes chakra be it elemental ninjutsu or other categories that utilize raw chakra. Anything that uses chakra in that regard is considered ninjutsu.

So...now onto suiton. Indeed it is the result of nature transformation and later on you noted the fluidity of chakra. That is where the nature transformation happens. A ninja will apply their thoughts of what water is to them and then apply nature transformation to their raw chakra created from their spiritual and physical energies to create suiton chakra. You can think of suiton chakra as something that flows like a calm river.

So a few notes on your elemental strengths and weaknesses. So yes suiton is definitely stronger than fire. And good point on the elemental interactions in that it results in a thick mist that engulfs the area around the technique which can range from a small cloud of mist to an enormous thick mist that engulfs the battlefield. It all depends on the techniques being used and the clash. Now to your point about earth. Water is definitely weak to earth and that is because it contains water already making it so the earth can't absorb the water. That is the basics behind it.

So now, explain to me of what you know of shape manipulation.

I wouldn't necessarily describe it as the counter to nature transformation. Both play a key role in ninjutsu. One molds the raw chakra into the element you desire while the other molds that elemental chakra, once released, into the shape and form you desire. For example, water release takes on many forms such as mist, oil, sticky glue like water, solidified water that takes on many subforms as well. All of these are done via shape manipulation once you have created suiton chakra.

For example when we create a sword of water we solidify the water as well to make it solid and give it sharper characteristics so as to actually make it a weapon. This is done through shape manipulation. And good example with Naruto's Rasengan. Basically the Rasengan is just shape manipulation incarnate. It is probably one of the best examples of it and what it can do. Shape manipulation lets you create almost anything within the scope of the element.

So as I said Water Release takes on numerous forms and I want to start with the very basics. And this is one of the key aspects to using any jutsu. In this case it is the difference between a stream and a projectile. Both have offensive applications to them but both are used in two very different ways and both have their respective advantages and disadvantages.

I want you to begin by telling me the difference between the two. Then I want you to try to explain to me the multiple forms of water release itself. I listed a good number of them above. For those I listed I want you to describe their characteristics and their usages.

Shape Manipulation 1) Shape Manipulation involves altering the features of chakra, perhaps one could say altering the shape of chakra.. It involves moulding chakra to create something new.. It involves imagination. 2) Advanced forms of Shape Manipulation involves manipulating chakra to acquire much more demanding forms. Perhaps, an example of taking Shape Manipulation to the extreme would be Susano'o where chakra is moulded to acquire the shape of a humanoid. Moreover, the chakra is moulded and such, to harden at areas [armour] while become thin but sharp at other areas [sword]

Nature Transformation 1) Nature Transformation involves altering the properties of chakra in order for it to replicate the properties of an already existing Chakra nature. It involves moulding chakra so that it becomes the same as an Elemental nature... 2) Advanced forms of Nature Transformation involves merging two already existing Elemental Natures to create another nature. But this has to be done, while the chakra is still within the Chakra system of the Ninja. An example of Advanced Nature Transformation would be how Katon and Doton Elemental Natures are conjoined to create Youton, that is Lava Release

Mist Mist is utilized by shinobi in order to hinder the sight of their opponents. A battlefield with mist shall certainly make it difficult for their opponent, to identify the location of the user although it will be equally difficult for the user to do the same. I personally believe the use of Mist is to buy time, and the fact that this jutsu is capable of blinding Sharingan and Doujutsu users makes the jutsu much more useful.. Byakugan however is not affected. Perhaps, if the user of the jutsu is the Byakugan user, he may use this jutsu before using a Katon technique for verily; the opponent will use Fuuton to get rid of the Mist from the battlefield and Katon > Fuuton. ​

Oil Oil has been seen being used by the 2nd Mizukage although there are techniques that can be used by a normal shinobi. The main thing about oil is that it is flammable and anything flammable from the Suiton jutsu would perhaps be the last thing the opponent would expect. A Oil jutsu that a normal shinobi can use is Water Style: Black Clouds that involves weaving 3 handseals and summoning a flammable black cloud, on which the user may ride if he wants to. The cloud moves towards the target, and when it is directly above the target, it disperses; releasing flammable oil upon the target. The main thing about this jutsu is that the cloud can be sent to move towards the target, whilst the user may perform other techniques to distract the targets attention.​

Sticky Glue Sticky Glue speaks for itself. It involves the user spitting out a sticky adhesive which can be manipulated by the user to move towards the target or perhaps stay as it is. The point is that once someone gets stuck in the jutsu, it is quite difficult to get out as seen when Kakuzu was forced to use his threads when he was stuck in the jutsu. The jutsu is best if used as a sneak attack and making sure that the target is unaware that he has been trapped in the Starch Syrup Jutsu. ​

Solidified Water Solidified Water perhaps involves leaving out some properties of raw chakra in Suiton or perhaps increasing the viscosity of Suiton chakra to such an extent that it becomes hard or its density increases. Solidified would perhaps be a wrong term for Solidified water is referred to as Ice and that is another Kekkei Genkai. The main use of Solidified water is that it can be used to defend against jutsus that involve 'brute strength' like perhaps Taijutsu? Or perhaps Doton. The main concept is to harden and take the damage instead of being useless water :|. Another way to use this jutsu is by incorporating it with Shape Manipulation to form a shield, a sword or perhaps a dragon ready to tackle the enemy and break his bones ​

Pressurized Water Pressurized Water... It is perhaps similar to Fuuton techniques where the chakra is made thinner and sharper. The point of Pressurized water is to slice through everything in its path.. It may be used to slice through a rock or perhaps pierce through the heart of the opponent. The fact that Pressurized Water is fast, thin and sharp makes it quiet deadly for it moves where the user directs it [Or moves his lips] and this jutsu makes it ideal for assassinations? Or maybe to cut the opponents limbs... as I see it

Rain Rain.. Although there is another Element known as Rain, there are many jutsus in Suiton itself which involve utilising Rain drops. The jutsus may involve causing the area to rain, in order to detect the location of the target or perhaps for flammable oil to rain or perhaps for sharp droplets of water to rain that would damage the target. Whatever the case maybe, Rain being exploited by someone would be the last thing one would expect!

Sharks Sharks are perhaps created when one conjoins Nature Transformation and Shape Manipulation. However, these Sharks seem full of life, and hungry for flesh and bones. One can spew out sharks or perhaps create a sphere of water to trap the opponent, and from the same water sharks would form. The point is that sharks are very deadly, and can be easily used by the opponent to distract someone for a second or two, and in NB a second or two is a lot of time since everyone got OP shit like "let me make a CC where I control gravity. But oh wait! Pain can do that.. .-. Oh well, I'll just make up this force thing all by myself, fit it into Narutoverse where it doesn't even exist and get my CC approved since I am a Mod!"

Okay so you got the general idea behind shape and nature manipulation. One thing I want to point out with something like Susanoo. It is a bit more complicated than sheer shape manipulation. Susanoo is a product of Yin Release which relies heavily on the spirit and imagination. But that is for something in MS training which is definitely far from this xD. But yes the basic idea is that shape manipulation alters the properties of chakra be it raw or elemental. In our case you're using shape manipulation on suiton chakra. So that is where those forms of suiton come into play. Most everything you listed is done through shape manipulation. Mist, oil, solid water, sticky water, and pressurized water are indeed forms of water release that are achieved through precise shape manipulation. Sharks I was a bit iffy on. Sharks are simply projectiles of water release. Now when you get to autonomous sharks then you are talking more about the Shark contract which is a canon summoning contract. And of course inside these categories are projectiles and streams all of which have different properties and uses. I'm sure you know that a projectile once released is no longer under your control and that a stream is once released. However a stream requires you to feed your chakra into it preventing you from using other techniques. And of course good note on Rain. Now Rain is a bit iffy since of course there is a rain element. And pretty much the only canon rain technique is Rain Tiger at Will.

So, now that that is all out of the way what was the last technique you learned?

Okay so we aren't doing this in a roleplay style but I still want to hear the performance of the technique. Namely the creation of your chakra, the nature transformation applied to said chakra, and then how you use that suiton chakra to create this rain storm and thus give you the technique. Then, I want to open up discussion about it. Remember we aren't using templates. This is a discussion based training and we can spend as many posts as you want discussing it. Be detailed. And most importantly use your imagination. Its training and because of that its perfectly fine to ask questions and make mistakes.

So for the first technique. This is one of the most useful Water techniques in the jutsu list. Rain Tiger at Will provides you with a make shift movement sensory. So in effect you're unleashing rain on the battlefield that is infused with your chakra. That chakra infusion allows you to sense whatever obstructs the rain drops path. So if it a rain drop hits something, you feel it. This isn't as precise as the regular sensory ability as it relies on obstructions. So, do what I said above and we can start talking about it!

Ordered to perform the Ukojizai no Jutsu, Kazuya immediately complied. He applied pressure to the sphere of chakra, present at his lower torso; the sphere of chakra was perhaps the essence of life that existed in every Ninja. His body set out almost immediately, as it drained physical energy from the living cells that were present within his body and spiritual energy from the thoughts that resided within Kazuya's mind. The physical and spiritual energy was gathered at the chakra coil, and churned, to perhaps merge it with one another in order to strengthen Chakra. Otherwise, it would not have been possible for Kazuya to properly perform a jutsu.

When it was about time, the chakra was molded and compressed; as Nature Transformation was applied upon it; leisurely altering the properties of the chakra. Kazuya concentrated on power and control, increasing the fluditiy of the chakra whilst decreasing its viscosity however maintaining a certain level. He was well aware by now, that he had been successful in altering the properties of his chakra and channeled it to the surface of his skin, that is the epidermis.

The chakra slowly and gradually seeped out of Kazuya's skin, as it rose up into the air. By nature, it attracted various other particles of Water that lay suspended in the air. Although initially the chakra molecules were spread out as they rose; they were manipulated to concentrate with one another and the water molecules that were attracted to the chakra, did so as well. During this process, the chakra molecules collided with the water molecules numerous times, perhaps millions; transferring a tad bit of chakra to them as well. Eventually, with the gathering of water together at a certain point; clouds started to form.

And thus by nature, it rained. And for every rain drop that fell from the heavens upon the earth, it contained the essence of Kazuya's chakra. And this granted Kazuya to effectively detect any person or any object or anything upon which the rain drops fell for verily, the rain drops contained essence of his chakra and no matter how far one may be from his chakra; they are always connected. They are one! One! One! One! One! One!

Very good. Now its important to remember that the technique is always just a makeshift sensory ability that can only perceive obstructions in the rain's path. Now that can be exploited quite a bit and can give you quite a bit of information but it is easily countered. So, tell me should this technique be used on you what would you do to counteract the opponent's new found sensory? No need to name specific techniques you would use but just give me a general idea of how you would prevent your opponent from sensing you and how you would remove the Rain Tiger at Will all together from the battlefield.

Yes indeed the primary way to end the Rain Tiger at Will is to just simply blow away the clouds with a large scale fuuton. That ends it. Now while it sounds simple finding an opening to do that can be quite hard especially if your opponent knows that is your intent and they really don't want to lose the clouds and subsequently the sensory given by the clouds. Now can you tell me how you can disrupt that sensory? Remember it is about what the rain drops hit...do you know of any doton techniques that could easily disrupt that?

The Wheel of Fortune could perhaps be used to completely alter the topography of the area where the battle has been fought. By creating multiple canyons, gorges, mountains.. It would certainly make it difficult for the opponent to use their Rain jutsu properly

Wheel of Fortune would be a bit overkill in my opinion but yes depending on how you use it you could certainly obstruct their vision. So good job there. But there are smaller scale ways that are both chakra efficient and straight forward that can block the sensory. Remember how the sensory works.

Read the description of the jutsu. It spans an area around the target 15 meters and is 4 meters high. This is a prison for both you and the target.

Its not suicide. You're misunderstanding how the RP works and in this case the timeframe. First off, while you're weaving hand seals for this if its your first offensive action then the opponent cannot use a technique before this technique happens. So the opponent can only attack after the prison has been created assuming it is the first 'move' in your turn.

Regarding fire. Fire can stop lightning within appropriate rank. Fire is neutral to lightning. So as long as you're paying attention to size and shape you're fine.

With regards to water. Water on such a scale would probably disperse the prison considering that the prison disperses with damage over C-Rank.

Yeah hiding like a mole is extremely dangerous and the most obvious counter is Swamp. But I don't get why you're bringing this up? And honestly you're taking elemental strengths and weaknesses too straight forward. All situations can vary. In fact, raiton striking earth usually results in the earth being ripped apart. So that actually creates a dangerous situation for both people in the fight as they will potentially be hit with sharp debris and what not. As I said, it all depends on description.

But nonetheless, you're missing the point of my question. I simply asked how you'd disrupt it as sensory can be quite problematic in a fight and in this case Rain Tiger at Will can be a sensory that can be stopped either permanently (be blowing away the clouds) or temporarily (by obstructing the rain path).

Nah don't bash yourself xD. Really. You're doing fine^^. Just pay attention to the details of descriptions and you'll get the hang of it!

That's quite a good question. Now for the sake of fights and spars Rain Tiger at Will only really covers the relevant battlefield. That's everywhere long-range around you. So, to answer your question it isn't simply about what rank of Fuuton you would use. I'd say C-Rank and higher would work. But it is more about in this case size and shape of the fuuton. There are a lot of A-Rank concentrated fuutons that wouldn't work. You'd need something huge, wide range, on a very large scale that would blow away and destroy the clouds. That's why size and shape is so important in the RP. You can't counter a dragon with a rasengan even if the Rasengan overpowers it by rank/element interaction.
