Welcome to your water training. Since you have already started the element, I will not ask the basic questions about the nature of the element and trust that your previous teacher had done so before.
This is how I will train you: I will first post the technique and the describe it in my own words, and then state a few sentences about the usefulness of the technique both offensively and defensively. I would like you to respond by by telling me:
- how you would perform the technique in battle
- how you will use the technique offensively
- how you can defend against the tech
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting
I would like a few sentences for each point or a few bullets. Whatever you prefer. I'll be going at 2 to 3 techniques per post to keep the training moving.
(Suiton: Mizu Kawarimi) - Water Style: Water Replacement
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user can freely transform his body into liquid. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks but can not attack while in this form.
The Water Replacement technique has a very simple concept. The technique requires you to focus your water chakra throughout your entire body and actually change the properties of your body to water. Because you are constantly focusing water chakra throughout your body to maintain the technique it comes with certain drawbacks. The technique cannot be while taking the offensive. This is more of a defensive technique as it allows you to escape from physical damage. It requires no hand seals and thus can be used to escape close range stabbings or strong collisions. One major risk is that your body has become water, you become weak to fire techniques essentially. You can be turned to steam if a fire techniques hit you and cannot revert back.
(Suiton: SuishΕ« Gorugon) - Water Release: Powerful Blasting Rain Trench
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user after performing Dragon β Tiger will summon a large amount of water that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. It has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent.
The technique only require 2 hand seals and can be performed quickly. This falls into your very basic streams or surges of water category. The user summons a large amount of water then channels their chakra into it to cause the water (that is otherwise stationary) to surge toward their target while shaping it in the form of a dragon. Since the technique isn't that complicated, I'll let you explain the rest to show you understanding.
(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water release: Water Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A large sphere of rotating water that is spit out of the users mouth that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked.
Requires only one hand seal. It is nothing more than a large bullet of water. It can soak the area enabling it to block wide ranges of fire about it burst. The techniques involves focusing water chakra in the stomach then moving it up to the mouth while building pressure to condense the water into bullet form. Then all the chakra pressure is released at once to launch the bullet out. Since the technique isn't that complicated, I'll let you explain the rest to show you understanding.
-How i would perform it: I would perform it before i am about to get hit with an unavoidable attack. Unlike other suiton techniques where i concentrate my chakra into one point, for this one, i would channel my chakra throughout my whole body. After i concentrate my suiton-based chakra throughout my entire body, i focus on the properties of water.. how it feels, how its made, what its made of. After that, i would use my chakra to transform my whole body into water. *Turns into water*
-How you will use the technique offensively: This technique is used for defensive purposes.
-How you can defend against the tech: You could use a katon technique in order to make the opponent evaporate (lol), or if possible, make a small earth dome around the water so that when they materialize, they wont fit in (dont know if that is possible)
-Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting: It is interesting, i have one question. if you were to evaporate, how would you turn yourself back? if you do evaporate, does that mean you lose?
(Suiton: SuishΕ« Gorugon) - Water Release: Powerful Blasting Rain Trench
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user after performing Dragon β Tiger will summon a large amount of water that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. It has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent.
- how you would perform the technique in battle: I start out by channeling my suiton-based chakra into one point, my palms. I then perform the Dragon β Tiger handseals, which helps me release the chakra easily. When i release the chakra, it transforms into water. This water extends to a long stream of water. By using my chakra, i manipulate it to look like a dragon with a gaping mouth.
- how you will use the technique offensively: I would use this technique offensively by first performing it. Afterwards, i would aim this water dragon to my opponent, with the gaping mouth. The gaping mouth would have more water pressure so it would hurt when they are hit.
- how you can defend against the tech : You can defend against this technique by creating a high-ranked doton jutsu to defend yourself against the impact, or using a high rank katon to evaporate the whole dragon.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting: I find this technique useful because of the dragon form and the length/largeness of the techinique. In addition, it only takes two handseals to complete.
(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water release: Water Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A large sphere of rotating water that is spit out of the users mouth that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked.
- how you would perform the technique in battle: I first start out by concentrating all my suiton based chakra in the core of my stomach. I do a single handseal, and take a deep breath. I channel the stored chakra in my stomach to go up to my mouth. While on its way up, i add more chakra in order to pressurize the water, thus creating the impact stronger and in the shape of the bullet. When it is in my mouth, I release it with great force, it comes out in the form of a large sphere, which stays its shape because of my chakra manipulation.
- how you will use the technique offensively: I would use this technique offensively when my opponent is mid-air, i would blast them in order to lose their balance and eventually fall off. Also, i could use this offensively by aiming at their heads. The impact itself would be strong enough to push them down to the ground.
- how you can defend against the tech: In this case, using a katon release might not work, because it would simply go through without evaporating. Unless it is like, S-rank and such. Ok, to defend myself from it, i would create a very strong shield of earth, which would hopefully block me from the blast.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting: Honestly, i dont find this technique all to interesting. it seems kind of.. boring in my opinion, just a sphere of water.
Question: Which one of these requires a water source?
First questions: If you are evaporated, you cannot revert back. You lose that body part. If you're whole body is evaporated, you die.
Second question: None of those techniques require a water source.
Be sure to include ways to use the techniques in combination for the "how to use offensively" section if it applies.
(Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri) - Water Release: Rising Water Cutter
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After waving the Tiger hand seal the user slams his foot to the ground, causing water to rise up and travel towards his target as a slicing jet.
This technique only requires one hand seal but does requires a water source. You basically use your water chakra to control the water source nearby to focus beneath your feet and when you slam your foot down the water rises up and then cuts through the earth almost like a shark's fin cuts through water. This technique is good to attack your opponent while your opponent is one the ground near a water source so it'll make it difficult to run toward you. The simplest way to defend against the technique is to cause a stronger wall of earth to halt the movement of the water. But there are more interesting way to block them if you are creative enough. In my opinion, this technique is worth using as it requires a water source in most cases isn't provided.
(Suiton: Taihoudan) - Water Style: Water Gun
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Descripton: A strong water wave spit from the mouth that is more compressed than Chaos Water Wave and can carve the earth if used on the same area multiply times.
Squirtle use water gun. That's essentially it. Just focus a large amount of water chakra in your stomach, move it up to your mouth and release it as a constant stream of water. Offensively, its a stream of water than can be used to leave a lot of physical damage on the opponent due to its forceful carving nature. It can also be used to destroy lower ranked earth techs. To defend against it just use higher ranked earth or use fire or wind to cancel it out. Not a really special technique.
(Suiton: Suikoundan) - Water Style: Water Shark Bomb
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A water projectile shaped like a shark formed after the user does the Tiger β Ox β Dragon β Hare β Dog β Bird β Rat β Clone seal β Dragon β Ram handseals. The projectile is formed from the user and travels towards the opponent.
Note: No water source required
As you can see this techniques requires a lot of hand seals. If you are not a water specialist, it is a not worth using. The technique works by focusing and releasing a large amount of water chakra at the users feet. The water then surges toward the opponent on the ground and while it travels, the user manipulates the shape of the water to form a shape. The techniques in the end is simply a shark shaped water bullet the surges like a stream on the ground. You may want to use it for style point but I believe there are more proactive techniques similar to this one such as Water Bullet requiring only one hand seal for every one. I personally would not use it because I am not a water specialist and cannot afford to do those hand seals. But the technique can be guarded easily with simply earth techs. Not special other than for the style of it being a shark.
For the first technique:
- How would you perform it: I start out by channeling and concentrating my suiton based chakra in the bottom of my feet. After I have enough concentrated chakra, I flashed the tiger handseal. My chakra attracts the water from the nearby water source and is formed on the ground beneath. I stomp my foot on the ground and release the chakra, where I am able to manipulate the water with my chakra. I make it in a form of a slicing jet, kind of like a sharks fin, and use my chakra to make it travel around.
- How I would use this technique offensively: I would use this technique offensively by attacking my opponent when they are off guard. I if they try to run towards me, this technique would be a surprise to them, leaving them little time to counter.
- How I would defend myself from this technique: I would defend myself from this technique by making my positionhigher. (Using a doton jutsu to lift me up in the air, which helps me block the attack.) Also, I could use a sturdy earth release to make a wall in front of the jet.
- Wether or not you find this interesting or useful: I find it useful because it is one of those techniques that can catch your opponent off guard. Also, even though it needs a water source, you can use it on earth as well
__________________________
Second technique:
- How would you perform it: "Squirtle use water gun" jk. Lol but I focus my suiton based chakra in my stomach. I add more pressure as it travels towards my mouth. When it is almost in my mouth, I breath in and squirt the chakra out. It transforms into a continous stream, of high speed pressurized water which causes a substantial amount of physical damage due to the force of the impact.
- How would I use this technique offensively: I would use this technique offensively by aiming the high speed water gun to my opponents eyes. Because of the force and pressure, their vision would lessen thus giving me the advantage. In addition, I could make a mist using the hidden in mist technique, and attack with this so that it would catch them by surprise.
- How would you defend against this: I would defend against this technique by creating a wall or many walls like a domino. It would eventually stop the fast paced stream of water.
- Do you find this technique useful or interesting: I find this technique interesting. because it is such a simple concept yet it can cause tremendous damage.
_________
Third technique:
- How would you perform this technique: I start out by channeling and concentrating the water based chakra in my body to my feet. The chakra is used to attract and store water on the ground. When I feel that I have enough, I stomp my foot on the ground and a water jet appears from the ground, racing towards my opponent. As it travels, I use my chakra to manipulate the shape of the jet. I manipulate it so that it would be the shape of an intimidating shark.
- How would you use this technique offensively: I would use this technique offensively just like the last similar technique. Other ways I can use this is by trying to go to a short range so that it would travel faster. I could maybe make a clone to set one shark from the back and one in the front.
- How would you defend against this technique: I could defend against this technique by using an S ranked Katon release so that it would be able to evaporate the shark before getting contact with ne. Also I could set up a thick wall of doton so it would be strong enough to stop the shark.
- Do I find this technique interesting or useful: None actually, I feel its the same technique as the previous one but just in the shape of a shark.
(Suiton: Seibun HΕfutsu) - Water Style: Water Heavens Convergence
Rank: C
Type: Defensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the required hand signs Tiger β Dog β Monkey β Snake β Boar β Tiger the user makes water rise from the ground and they can use this water in various ways. They can create a body of water for a water summoning to be encased in and allow them to move around where normally no water exists, or create a body of water to block incoming attacks or surround his target and then drown them.
This technique requires no water source but it does requires 6 hand seals. Unless you are a water specialist I do not recommend it. The technique works by focusing your water chakra in an existing water in the ground and the moisture in the air to allow you to manipulate the said water and condense and collect it to create a small body of water in a place where there is no water. This technique can be useful for summoning sharks and such onto the field due to them needing water. The water can only be used to converge around the target to drown them in the newly condensed water. To defend against it, simply uses a earth technique to prevent the converging water from reaching you. Perhaps a wall, or if the water surrounds a summon, lower the ground to drain the water.
(Suiton: Suichuu Teigen no Jutsu) β Water Release: Underwater Motion Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: This Technique allows the user to properl themselves through a body of water by using their chakra. While underwater, this technique will also partially mask the users prescence.
Note: Must be a large water source such as a lake to use.
Pretty self-explanatory if I was to say. This technique simply allows you to propel yourself underwater. It works by manipulating the water chakra that you surround your body with with the surround water to move the water around you and push you forward. Can't be used to go back. It is used as an alternative to swimming if you ever have to go underwater, allowing you to come from beneath your opponent's feet on the waters surface. The technique has no true offensive purpose other than setting up follow up attacks more precisely. If you're opponent is underwater, simple, just send some lightning into the water. Basic way to counter.
(Suiton: Suihachi) β Water Release: Hand of waves
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: the user will produce a fairly powerful jet of water from the user's hand.
You punch and focus water chakra in your arm, you release the chakra and water comes out. Best used in a close range situation. It requires no hand seals and can be used to strengthen what may seem like a normal punch to do decent physical damage. To defend against it, just prevent your opponent from getting into close as that'll make it so you won't even have to worry about it. If it is used, if far enough, create a wall. If close, then use a technique that hardens your body so the jet won't have any effect. Or use a similar technique that releases a burst of chakra like Hurricane Fist to take it head on and cancel it while allowing you to go in closer for another strike.
First technique:
-How would you perform it: I start out by channeling suiton based chakra in my body in one point, my palms. When I concentrate enough, I form the necessary handsigns and release my chakra in both the air and the little water underground. Afterward, my chakra uses the moisture in the air to multiply the water molecules and also the little water found underground. In a matter of second, the chakra multiplies enough molecules which forms into water. Water emerges from the ground, creating a small body of water around the training grounds.
-How would you perform this technique offensively: I could use this jutsu offensively ny restraining my opponents movement using the water whip jutsu. After their hands are restricted as well as their whole body, I cam create the small body of water while they are immobile. With this, they will easily drown.
-How would you defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by trying to stop the user from creating the long series of handsigns. I could also use the water replacement technique to travel on the small body of water (if that's possible)
-What you find interesting or if you find this useful: I find this useful because you can easily use this technique to cover the entire battlefield, giving you the underhand. Or if your terrain had no water, you could create water with this.
_____________________
Second technique:
-How to use this technique: -Small lake is under me- I swim down underwater, and channel chakra throughout my whole body. With that, I release chakra in my foot so that I could manipulate it to push me throughout the lake and push aside the water, letting me maneuver throughout the lake easily.
-How to use this jutsu offensively: This jutsu would be useful offensively when there is a lake in the terrain (example: konan vs tobi battlefield). I could swim down allowing myself to move quickly without being seen. I could pop out right under my opponent and catch them by surprise.
-How would you defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by like said above, channel lightning in the water, electricuting my opponent. Also, I could create large waves with wind release so that it would be hard to swim.
-Anything interesting or useful with this technique: I found this technique not as interesting, its just the same as swimming quickly. No offensive purposes.
_______________
Third technique:
-How would you perform this jutsu: I start out by channeling my siiton based chakra in my arms and my fist. *training dummy set in front of me* When I have concentrated it enough, I punch the dummy with great force, and release the chakra at the same time. The punch sends out a strong, pressurized blast of water from my fist which breaks the dummy.
-How would you use this offensively: I would use the underwater motion technique to quickly swim under my opponent and appear from behind. Afterwards, I would proceed with taijutsu, applying this technique with my punches.
-How would you defend against this technique: I would stay far ranged from my opponent. I could also create a thick wall between me and my opponent so that the punch would have no impact on me.
-What do you find interesting or useful about this technique: I find this technique interesting because it is like a fighting style.
Question about the second technique: can you stay underwater without having to go up to breath ? Or does the chakra help you breath underwater ?
The technique does absolutely nothing for your breathing underwater.
(Suiton: Suishi no Jutsu) β Water Drowning Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After waving the Boar β Dog β Horse β Tiger hand seals, the user will gather a large amount of water to form a large spiraling stream of water. It can be guided to strike a target in a number of angles.
Note: Requires a nearby water source.
The tech uses 3 hand seals and requires a water source. The user sends their water chakra into a nearby source of water to manipulate the existing water and manipulate its shape and movement. The use simply turns it into a spiraling stream, or essentially a column of water that can spread and attack from wide angles. This jutsu should be used primarily when the opponent is close to the water source than you to take advantage of their surroundings, and should be used to attack from a wide array of locations. This'll result in them having to defend a larger region giving you extra time to follow up with a second attack. To defend against it, just destroy the column itself with a wind bla
(Suiton: Daibakuryuu) - Water Release: Great Exploding Current
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: User creates a whirlpool that sucks any opponent in range underwater.
Note: Must be performed on a water source
No hand seals but does requires a water source. A simple technique, the user sends their chakra into the water beneath the opponent and causes the water to rotate creating a whirlpool. Just use the technique when the opponent is on water as a distraction, or to follow up with water techs like shark frenzy to attack the opponent while he is trapped in the whirlpool. To defend against it, just escape before the whirlpool becomes too strong. Any technique that can lift you in the air, water or wind can be used.
(Suiton: Kokuun) - Water Style: Black Clouds
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description:After performing the Ram β Snake β Tiger hand seals the user creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.
It uses 3 hand seals and involves actually sending your chakra into the sky and changing its properties to oil. This techs makes it rain oil on a certain part of the terrain that you make clouds above. To attack the opponent immediately follow up with a fire attack to make the oil explode. To guard just send a wind blast at the clouds that is strong enough to separate the clouds and prevent them from reforming. Or just wash the oil away with a water jutsu and make sure none of the oil touches you so that it doesn't explode later.
1st Technique:
- How would you perform it: I quickly perform the handseals: Boar β Dog β Horse β Tiger and send my Suiton Chakra in the nearby water source. With my water chakra, i am able to manipulate the water whether it be the shape or speed. I manipulate it so that it would look be shaped as a spiraling column aimed towards a dummy in the training grounds.
- How would you use it offensively: I would use it offensively when i and my opponent are both near a water source. Because this technique doesn't come out from your mouth, it is easily catch your opponent off guard. Also, this stream of water is large and fast, which will cause a lot of damage.
- How would you defend against this technique: Like said above, i could cut down the pillar of water with a wind jutsu. Other ways would be creating small walls of earth to cut off the water.
- Whether or not you find this technique interesting or useful: I find it both interesting and useful because it does not come from your mouth and you can freely manipulate the direction of the stream
____________________
2nd Technique:
- How would you perform it: I start out by releasing some suiton chakra into the air and directing it on a water source. I manipulate my chakra so that it would go to a spinning direction, like a fan. I add more chakra so that the spinning would speed up, eventually making a whirlpool.
- How would you use this technique offensively: I could use this technique offensively by using the water whip technique to restrict any movements. Afterwards, i could create the whirlpool making sure that they cannot weave handsigns.
- How would you defend against this technique: I would defend myself against this technique by disrupting the circular pattern of the whirlpool so there wouldnt be a whirlpool to begin with. Also, i could use the underwater propelling technique to swim away if i do get stuck.
- Do i find this technique useful or interesting: I find this technique interesting because it is the first whirlpool i learned, and it does not require handsigns.
_____________________________
3rd Technique:
- How would you perform it: I first concentrate and channel my water based chakra into my palms. I then perform three handsigns: Ram β Snake β Tiger and release the stored chakra into the sky and cloud. I manipulate my chakra to change the properties of the clouds, making it rain oil. The oil covers a great portion of the training grounds, and if i decide i want to make it destructive, i perform a fire technique to make it explode
- How would you use this technique offensively: I would use this technique offensively by covering my opponent and his/her surrounding with oil. With this i am able to detonate them with a fire technique, which would obviously cost a lot of damage.
- How would you defend against this technique: I would first try to destroy the clouds with a wind technique before it even rains oil. If i am too late, i would use the water drowning technique (if water source nearby) to clean the terrain and myself from the oil.
- Whether you find this interesting or useful: I find this technique useful because it is only C-rank and can cause a lot of damage
Questions: about the third technique, what would happen if you use the rain tiger at will technique?
(Suiton: Takitsubo) - Water Release: Waterfall Basin
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar β Dog β Ram the user creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.
This technique does only one thing so I will keep it short. It requires 3 hand seals. This technique just summons a large amount of flowing water. This can be used in conjunction with another water technique that uses a water source, to counter a fire technique, or merely to alter the terrain for strategic use. To defend against it, an earth wall to stop the flow, or changing the landscape of the earth to drain the water somewhere else.
(Suiton: Mizu Tsurudan) - Water Release: Water Tendril Bullets
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will manipulate one of their water clones to dissolve back to water and turn into four pointed projectiles that shoot at the target.
Note: Must create a water clone before hand.
This is only useful if you have a water clone. You release the chakra in your water clone to cause it to revert back into water then refocus your water chakra to shape the water into 4 kunai-like projectiles. Then you launch the projectiles at your opponent. It is great offensively if your opponent is fighting with your clone at close range and you wish to catch him by surprise and turn your water clone into a suicide attacker. To defend against a projectiles, earth wall or wind blast to knock and disperse the water.
(Suiton: Mizu Yashiken no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Palm Blade Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will first strike their target with couple of punches and kicks them lifting the target into the air and the user will then concentrate their chakra into their palm and then swinging their arm in a arc they release chakra creating a cresent blade of water that strike the target.
This is used in conjunction with taijutsu and only is useful in close range. This jutsu first requires you to punch your opponent so they have the opportunity to block your punches and render the whole technique useless. But if you can punch them into the air you focus you water chakra in your hand then swipe at the opponent releasing it in a crescent shape. This is a good technique to follow up with a solid hit in close range or a technique to maybe punch through a small fire blast. Easiest way to defend is to block the initial punch and stop the technique from ever happening.
1st technique:
-How would you perform it: I start out by concentrating my suiton based chakra in my core, and then I perform the necessary handseals. After releasing my chakra, my chakra transforms moisture and air into water molecules, a lot of it at that. The water multiplies until it fills up the whole basin, and the water flows down just like a waterfall.
-How would you use it offensively: I would use this offensively by changing the terrain so that I would have a water source to perform most of my suiton techniques. Also it could be used to summon animals that needs water such as sharks.
-How would you defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by covering the wholwaterfall basin with earth, or cutting down the flow of the waterfall. However, you can use the opponents techniques to your advantage as well.
-Whether or not you find this interesting or useful: I find this technique incredibly useful because you would be able to make a water source on terrains that would need a water source. I also find it interesting because it changes the terrain so much but cost so little chakra.
_____________
2nd technique:.
-How would you perform it: *water clone made* With the water clone I made, I release all my chakra I used to makethe Clone so that it would return back to its liquid state. After it explodes into a pile of water, I use the released chakra to manipulate the water and shape it into four pointed projectiles. I would use these four pointy projectiles to attack my opponents.
-How would you use it offensively: I would first create aclone to run towards my opponent, trying to get it to close range. When it is at a close range I would want my opponent to destroy the clone, and making the four projectiles at a close range so that it would be hard for them to block it.
-How would you defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by using a Katon technique to evaporate the projectiles. In addition, I could create a wall made of doton to block the projectiles.
-Whether or not you find this interesting or useful: I fond this technique useful because it is only natural for your opponent to destroy clones, so it could take suprise them.
________________
3rd technique:
-How would you perform it: *training dummy in front of me* I start with light punches and kicks, becoming stronger and stronger. When I punch it hard enough to go mid air, I quickly focus all mt water chakra into one hand. When it is in the air, I swipe it releasing the chakra at the same time, which releases a cresent shaped blade of water to destroy the dummy.
-How would you use it offensively: I would use it offensively by getting close to then, and attacking them with taijutsu. When they are mid air, I could also use this technique to make stronger attacks. It would also be hard to block because of the close range and them being in air.
-How would you defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by not even getting in taijutsu fight . If that is not possible, I send lightning chakra throughout my whole body so they would get electrocuted when they hit me.
-Whether or not you find this interesting or useful: I find this technique useful for those who do not have training in taijutsu.
Question about the third technique: Can you lift them up in the air by other means besides taijutsu? Like a doton jutsu to lift then up?
Yes, but the crescent of water will only go up to short range.
( Suiton: Mizu Hashira Suiryoku no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then they create water to rise up from the ground beneath the target lifting them into the air.
This technique requires a water source and is mainly used a distraction. The user of the technique sends their chakra into a water source and manipulates the water to travel beneath the targets feet then suddenly burst up lifting the target up into the air. Once they are in the air, they are much more open to attacks as they do not have the freedom to defend in all the ways they normally could while they were on the ground. If this jutsu is used on you then all your would have to do is just prevent the water from getting beneath you or you can simply take the hit and get lifted into the air and use a wind technique to move in the air to escape your opponents follow up attacks and use your opponents technique against them.
( Suiton: Haretsu sui Yashi ) - Water Release: Water Bursting Palm
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After making the ram hand seal the user generates water around their right arm and then by thrusting their arm forwards they release the water in the form of a projectile bullet that drives through the opponent pushing them back several feet.
This technique is exactly the same as (Suiton: Mizu Yashiken no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Palm Blade Technique. You simply focus water chakra in your arm after doing the one hand seal and then punch forward shaping the water into a bullet. It's short range like the jutsu I just mentioned. Very much the same uses. I'd like you to actually state the ways to use the technique offensively and defensively to see how much you picked up from the training.
( Suiton: SeisuiryΕ« ) - Water Release: Azure Water Stream
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create a moving body of water beneath him that travels towards the opponent carrying the user. They then slash the opponent with their sword multiple times.
This technique is made for movement. Though it says that it is offensive, it is more of a supplementary attack. The jutsu requires the user to release large amounts of water chakra from their feet constantly. The water chakra pushes the ground as the user uses their chakra manipulation in their feet to stand on top of the water as it pushes upward. The user constantly keep pushing out the water from their legs to move in one direction. It doesn't let them go backward suddenly or make sharp turns, its more fluid movement. To defend against it, just use earth spikes or lower the earth beneath them. No real attacking uses for this jutsu though.
1st Technique:
- How would you perform it: I would perform this technique by first concentrating and channeling my suiton chakra in my body to my palms. Afterwards, i would release this chakra to the air, which travels to the water source. I use my chakra to 'carry' the water under my opponents feet. When i have accumulated enough water under their feet, i would use my chakra and manipulate the water to go in an upward direction- By using my chakra to make the water go up.
- How would you use it offensively: I would use this technique offensively by using it as a distraction. Other uses for this technique would be to lift my opponent up in the air, and afterwards, do the Water palm blade technique.
- How would you defend against it: This technique is sort of meant for a distraction, so it would do no damage. Nevertheless, i could defend against this technique by elevating myself from the ground with a small pillar made of doton.
- Whether or not you find this useful or interesting: I dont find this technique interesting, but it is useful when it comes to distractions.
___________
2nd Technique:
- How would you perform it: I make the ram handseal, then focus some of my suiton chakra in my left arm, because i am left handed. *training dummy in front of me* When i feel that i have enough chakra stored, i give a swift punch to the dummy, and release the stored chakra at the same time. The chakra comes out in the form of a projectile bullet, and breaks the training dummy on contact.
- How would you use it offensively: I would first get into close range with my opponent, so that the technique would be able to reach them. Afterwards, i could use the water pillar thrust to lift them up in the air and get them off balanced. Then i can use this technique, jumping towards them at full speed and punching them with this technique.
- How would you defend against it: I would defend against this technique by covering myself with a lightning armor, so that the user's hands would become electrocuted and paralyzed. Like said before, i could also just stay far away from my opponent. And lastly, i could defend against this technique by creating a water replacement, before getting punched.
- Whether or not you find this useful or interesting: I dont find this technique interesting or useful because taijutsu isn't really my forte.
___________
3rd Technique:
- How would you perform it: I gather my suiton based chakra in my body and direct it to the lower parts of my body. With this i create water with my chakra to cover my whole bottom part of my body (up to my thighs) I channel chakra in my foot so that i am able to stand on the water. With my chakra covering the water and manipulating its shape, i can control which way the stream of water would be heading.
- How would you use it offensively: I would use this technique offensively if i wanted to get closer to my opponent quickly. This technique would help me attack them with ease and speed, giving them little time to respond. I could also use this technique to dodge an attack.
- How would you defend against it: I would defend against this technique by lowering the ground that the user is on, or raising the ground that i am on. I could also use a lightning release to electrocute the user's feet, leaving them paralyzed.
- Whether or not you find this useful or interesting: I find this technique interesting and useful, it allows the user to move quickly which is what i need xD
Questions: For technique 3, do you need a water source?
For technique 1, Would the water be beneath the ground where they cannot see or on the ground where they can see?
No, it creates a water source. Yes, they can see it on the ground.
( Suiton: Nagareru no Muchi ) - Water Release: Flowing Whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user first kneads chakra in their mouth and then, placing their hand on their mouth expels water in the form of a whip which they use to lash their opponent, sending them flying backwards.
The technique involves focusing water chakra in your stomach then moving it to your mouth. Once the water chakra is in your mouth, the carefully manipulate the water chakra and condense and extended it to form a whip. Expel the whip out of your mouth and it can be used to physically attack your opponent. The only real use of this jutsu is if you are fighting hand to hand with your opponent in close range and you need a quick sneaky way to attack him you can use this jutsu. It requires no hand seals so it can catch the opponent by surprise. To defend against it simply get out of range or use a defend that channels chakra to your arms to simply swipe the water whip as it comes toward you and the impact will cause the whip to lose its stability and fall back down into water.
( Suiton: ShawΔ ) - Water Release: Showers
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user condenses water vapour in the air above them to generate multiple projectiles of water which shoot at their target with a great amount of force and speed. The user can also shoot a barrage of small water projectiles directly from the swing of their hand.
Send your water charka into the air about you and use it to the collect the natural vapor in the air. Condense the vapor and shape it into several projectiles such as water kunai then launch the water kunai at the opponent. Way to use this technique is to focus the chakra directly into your hand and condense the water around you hand and launch the water kuani from there. This technique requires no hand seals so it is useful to attack your opponent in close range by swiping your hand and releasing a barrage of water kunai. It can be used to catch the off guard to go in close for more attack or go back and follow up with a bigger attack. A earth wall, wind blast, or fire blast of stronger strength can all easily block it.
1st Technique:
- How would you perform it: I concentrating my suiton chakra in my stomach. After building up enough chakra, i channel it towards my mouth while transforming it to water. It is just one orb of water in my mouth. When i put my hands over my mouth, i use my chakra to attach it to my fingers, which i can pull out in a form of the whip. I use this whip to damage my opponent in taijutsu.
- How would you use this offensively: I would use this technique offensively by building up my chakra in my stomach while in a taijutsu fight. When they are caught off guard i could use this technique to whip them up in the air, where i can use the water palm blade technique.
- How would you defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by covering my body with lightning chakra, so if i get hit they will be electrocuted. Also, i could stay away from close range and/or fight quickly, giving them no time to form it.
- Do you find this technique interesting or useful: I find this technique interesting and useful because it requires no handseals and can be performed quickly.
_______________________
2nd Technique:
- How would you perform it: I concentrate my suiton chakra, and release it in the air above. With my chakra, i attract the water vapor and molecules in the air, and transform it into water. I shape these water into small projectiles, and with my chakra i can manipulate where it hits and/or the speed of it.
- How would you use this offensively: I would use this technique offensively by making two clones, and using that one technique that uses destroyed clones to make four projectiles in short range. I could also create more projectiles with this technique, giving them more to block and defend against.
- How would you defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by creating a doton/earth defense to block the water projectiles. I could also use a wind technique to change the angle at which it is aimed at and a fire release to evaporate the small projectiles.
- Do you find this technique interesting or useful: I find this technique useful because you can create it without a water source and it is quick to hit.
(Suiton: Hahonryuu) - Water Style: Destruction Torrent
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After waving the Boar β Dog β Ram hand seals, a water vortex created in the palm of the userβs hand that can then be blasted forward creating a spiraling wall of water which can then be used to attack or defend.
Note: No water source required.
The technique is simple. It requires 3 hand seals and works by focusing water chakra to the palm on the intended hand. The water is released from the palm and the chakra is materialized into liquid water. As soon as the water is released, the user will use their chakra that is infused with the water to rotate the water to created a spiraling torrent-like wall. The user keep releasing more water to push the spiraling wall out toward their target. This technique can be used to either knock the opponent back combined with a palm thrust in close range (only if you're a water specialist thought) to increase the strength of your physical attacks. You can use it to defend against equal rank and one rank strong fire techniques. To guard using an earth wall will work well or using a wind blast to knock the water away is also efficient.
(Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu) - Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing a long series of hand seals Ox β Monkey β Hare β Rat β Boar β Bird β Ox β Horse β Bird β Rat β Tiger β Dog β Tiger β Snake β Ox β Ram β Snake β Boar β Ram β Rat β Yang Water β Monkey β Bird β Dragon β Bird β Ox β Horse β Ram β Tiger β Snake β Rat β Monkey β Hare β Boar β Dragon β Ram β Rat β Ox β Monkey β Bird β Yang Water β Rat β Boar β Bird the user then shapes a large amount of water into a giant, powerful dragon, which hits the opponent with formidable might, dealing physical damage. The ideal place to use it is near a body of water, but if the user's skill allows it, it is possible to use it even in a place where there is none. The amount of water used will be in proportion with the user's skill. Tobirama was able to use this technique with a single hand seal showing testiment to his skill in water ninjutsu.
Note: Requires a water source to use.
Unless you are a water specialist, this technique is useless. I am not so I do not use it. Obviously because of the number of hand seals it requires. It can easily be prevent by your opponent is will turn out to be a waste of a technique. If you are a water specialist and can do the technique with one hand seals then it is pretty decent. It simply creates a moving body of water that is shaped like a dragon. This technique does require a water source unless you are Tobimaru which is probably the only way you can use it without a water source. To defend against the technique a larger scale earth wall would work or you can lower the earth to drain the water as well, or a large wind blast as well.
1st technique:
- How do you perform it: I start out by channeling and focusing my suiton chakra in my palm of my left hand. I use my chakra to kind of give it a spinning motion when i release my chakra. The released chakra comes out in the form of water. I add more chakra to make it spin faster and faster, eventually creating a large wall of a spinning vortex. I maintain this shape and speed of the spinning where i can use it offensively or defensively.
- How do you use this technique offensively: I can use this technique offensively by throwing this towards my opponent. If they use a katon technique that is B-rank, A-rank or lower, the fire would just diminish and the vortex would be maintained, leaving them surprised.
- How do you defend against this technique: I defend against this technique by creating a somewhat high rank doton to defend myself, or try to stop the flow of the water somehow.
- Whether or not you find this technique useful or interesting: I find this technique useful because it can block higher rank Katon techniques.
__________
2nd Technique:
- How do you perform it: *lake in my left* I start out by channeling and concentrating my suiton chakra in one point, and release it on the lake. When i have done so, i shape the water in the lake into a large dragon. I maintain the shape with my chakra and also with my chakra, i am able to control the speed and direction it moves.
- How do you use this technique offensively: I use this technique offensively if my opponent is near the water. I could have it bolt towards them at full speed, and because the size and density of the dragon, it would be difficult to defend against at a short distance.
- How do you defend against this technique: I defend against this technique by staying away from a water source. Other ways could be creating a thick and large wall of doton and using a wind jutsu to slice through the dragon.
- Whether or not you find this technique useful or interesting: I find this technique useless :/ the long series of handseals are useless unless you're water specialist.. but still a cool technique
(Suiton: SuiryΕ«ben) - Water Style: Water Dragon Whip
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates an orb of water from which several sharp whips of water emerge. Those whips can then be directed towards one or multiple targets, impaling them on impact.
The user will use one hand seal and release a large amount of water chakra from their hands and form a levitating orb of water above them. Sharp water whips can be released from the orb to impale the opponent. This technique is useless to launch attacks from a long distance because of the range of the technique and is useful to maybe even defend against fire jutsu in an area where there is no water because this technique does not requires a water source. This jutsu is not that powerful but can be used properly with other techniques. You can stab your opponent with some water then use the water to follow up with a water technique that requires a water source killing two birds with one stone. Create a earth wall or a stronger fire jutsu should stop he whips and the orb in its trail.
(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Style: Water Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user will do one handseal and will gather water in his mouth and then spits out a large sphere of rotating water that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked. It can also be used in quick succession to shoot up to 3 smaller but faster bullets of water.
It's a bullet of water. Or it can be three bullets of water. Keep in mind that if you split it into three then each bullet will only have 1/3 of the power an A-rank technique. So be wise on splitting the bullet into smaller ones. The jutsu is pretty basic. You can use it to defend against fire jutsu and use it to launch a water blast to soak the terrain for future use of the water if you are strategic enough. All in all, just a blast of water.
1st technique:
- How I would perform it: i start out by gathering suiton chakra n my left hand and then I perform a single handseal. I create a large orb of water and use my chakra to levitate it. Afterwards, I use manipulation to shape many whips to come out from the orb, and in addition o could control the speed the many whips hit.
- How do I use this technique offensively: I start with luring them in at short range. when they get to short I could quickly perform this to have it attack at short range and fast speed. I could also trap them in the sticky water jutsu, and attack them with this technique so they can't move.
- How do I defend against it: defend against it by creating a thick and sturdy wall of earth, thick enough to block the assault of whips.I could also defend against it by destroying the orb with a fire technique so the whips wouldn't come out in the first place.
- Whether or not I find this useful or interesting: I find it useful because its like a barrage of whips and can be hard to destroy or defend against.
______________
2nd technique
- How would you perform it: I channel chakra and concentrate suiton chakra in my stomach. I direct it to my mouth where I use my chakra to add pressure and shape it into a spinning, but small vortex. After I spit it out, it transforms into water and is released at incredibly high speeds
- How would you use it offensively: I would lure them in short range. When they are in short range, i would quickly channel chakra in my stomach to my mouth so that it would hit them with a stronger force. Also, i would aim for a vital organ to cause more damage.
- How would i defend against this technique: I would defend against this technique by using a high-ranking katon technique to evaporate the bullets before it hits me. I could also create a thick wall that would be hard to pierce, so the bullets can't hit you.
- Whether or not i find this technique useful or interesting: I find this technique useful because if you hit the opponent at close range, it would be hard for them to avoid it.
