Water release is one of the five basic nature transformations. It is the most fluid and calm element out of all of them. It can be utilized by using pre-existing water, or create their own by turning their chakra into water. Being one of the most versatile elements, it can change shape and state. Water release can also be very dangerous by summoning large crushing waves to creating a thick mist that you can use to surprise attack your target. With the help with Wind, you can create the KG Ice which is also another dangerous versatile element for obvious reasons. Water is strong against fire because it naturally extinguishes the flames but is weak against earth because earth structures can dissipate the force of water rendering the technique ineffective.

Water Release is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques that allow the user to manipulate pre-existing water, or create their own, by turning their chakra into water.] It takes much more ability to create the water outside the body than to manipulate what is already available or expel it from their mouths. One of the most versatile of the five basic chakra natures, Water Release techniques can not only change shape but state as well. Moreover, the water becomes more solid in the process as well. The water affinity is seemingly more common amongst shinobi of Kirigakure. Offensive water techniques seem to inflict harm from the sudden force that they exert, which would cause massive internal damage to a human.
Water is strong against fire because it naturally extinguishes the flames (though a sufficiently powerful fire technique can cause evaporation) but is weak against earth because earth structures can dissipate the force of water rendering the technique ineffective.
Water Release can be used in conjunction with Lightning Release to increase the flow of electricity thus increasing damage taken by the target.
Additionally, it can be used with Wind Release to increase the concussive and overall destructive power of a water technique.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:I could combine this jutsu with lightning armor to really fry an attacking enemy using close range taijutsu
Ways to Counter: Using most D rank or above Earth jutsu's to block the attack
Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):I start to gather my chakra while thinking about the very nature of water, it's versatility, it's fluidity, and I change the nature of my chakra to water chakra. I start to channel my water chakra into the lake, drawing water up and focusing it over to in front of me, where I concentrate make it start to ripple, eventually forming miniature waves crashing along it's edge. I then concentrate my chakra in the water and manipulate it's shape into a giant shield of water in front of me that is attached to my left forearm like a knights shield. I then aim the shield in front of me and start back hand slashing at it with my right hand, launching multiple shots of water out of the shield to attack my enemy.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source
Another very useful jutsu. Concentrate water chakra, and either use the water source or your own chakra for this jutsu. Concentrate, and focus suiton chakra into your body. I then want you to emit a very thick mist that will hide your presence. This jutsu is very useful, it can even hide you from sharingan!

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: After performing this tech, I could silently sneak up behind my opponent and kill him with a kunai or sword.
Ways to Counter: A wide spread wind jutsu should be enough to blow the mist away. And according to the description of the jutsu, the Byakugan can't be fooled by this tech. >_>

I gather a great amount of Suiton chakra to my feet and then channel it to the nearby lake. With my chakra now infused in the lake's water, I manipulated it to create a thick white mist that covered the whole area within 5 seconds.
Ways to Counter: A wide spread wind jutsu should be enough to blow the mist away. And according to the description of the jutsu, the Byakugan can't be fooled by this tech. >_>

Combinations you could make with this jutsu:Intriguing jutsu, it could be combined with almost anything to sneak attack ones enemy, as long as they don't have byakugan or are a sensor
Ways to Counter: Wind release: Gale Palm should do the trick quickly
Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated):In battle it would be used to sneak up on ones opponent and kill them...silently. In non battle, it could be used in the Ninja world to sneak up on intruders at the village borders

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining

Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.
Pretty simple technique. It's really not all that useful, unless you somehow forgot to mention that you carry a sword in your bio (which I strongly reccomend by the way). Simply concnetrate water chakra, and focus it into your dominant hand. Cause water droplets from the air to condense into the form of a sword.

No, the blade is not physical. You can channel lightning into it, just make sure it's not in your hand at the time >_>
And a thing with this jutsu...if you clash blades with someone and they channel chidori through they're blades, you would be electrocuted because the lightning would travel through the sword and into your arm, and possibly even kill you.
It lasts as long as you want it to, and you can disperse it whenever you want. Read the above please ^^

Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.
Manipulate the water from before, channel your water chakra into it and form it into a shield. The shield can defend against C rank and below fire. It is also defend against ninja tools, and freeform taijutsu. This jutsu doesen't require a water source, and is very quick to perform.
